We stayed at this typical Tuscany cottage house during a hot period with temperatures up to 38 degrees (Celcius). It was comfortable that the dormitories were one floor below, thus cooler and still comfortable for good nightrest. On arrival we were received by the mom of the owner with a warm welcome. The place is well equipped with all necessities for a family. The property itself is on a beautiful and central part of Chianti region. Centrally positioned to reach within one hour Firenze, as well as Siena (by car). We enjoyed the beautiful views of its surroundings, especially during sunrise and sunset.

Lieu de villégiature de rêve, paysages Toscans typiques, un silence inestimable, une petite maison de pierres intégrée au paysage et des propriétaires proches franchement adorables. Qu'espérer de plus ? Un seul petit bémol : les 800 mètres du chemin d'accès très en pente avec ornières et cailloux conviendront mieux à un propriétaire de 4x4. Voitures : attention à vos fonds de caisse.

Una casa de muros anchos, acogedora y bien acondicionada, aunque le hace falta unas mosquiteras en las ventanas. Está ubicada en el centro de la Toscana. Los dueños encantadores y absolutamente discretos.

La casa è molto curata e perfettamente attrezzata. Ogni stanza ha il suo bagno, e questo per noi è stato davvero molto importante visto che eravamo un gruppo di quattro amiche. Il posto è molto piacevole, tranquillo, con panorami mozzafiato e una grande terrazza (la vecchia aia della struttura) dove si può cenare o bere qualcosa sotto il grande ombrellone. I proprietari sono molto gentili e sempre disponibili, per quanto sempre molto discreti. La posizione è perfetta per organizzare gite in giornata a Firenze, Siena e per tutta l'area del Chianti. Torneremo anche la prossima estate

From the moment we walked into this wonderful cottage, my family and I felt at home. We have been to the area before, but still found this wonderful cottage a great place to head out to visit some of our favourite places (Castellina in Chianti, Siena, Florence, San Gimignano) The cottage itself is close to the main house, but you still feel isolated from the world, and a wonderful west facing view with some gorgeous sunsets. Also the terrace was really nice to have a cup of tea or something stronger as necessary. The only (tiny) caveat I would add: the stairs between the two floors are quite steep so might not be great for small children. It was a wonderful cottage and I really did not want to leave after only one week... wish my holiday could have been about a month longer.

This year my husband and I decided to spend Christmas on our own, in the Chianti countryside. La Capanna delle Cozzole is just the perfect location: very quiet, romantic and private location. In the village you can find top quality food, wine and deli, so we decided to organize our Christmas lunch at home. The fireplace in the living room is just great, so every single thing was just perfect. Owners are very nice, and also invited us for an aperitivo their place
