Wow, what a place! This was my first visit to Croatia and it won't be my last! Babinji is a beautiful village located about 6 km outside Zadar on the coast. The village itself has many great restaurants and a beautiful harbour/ beach area. There is a bus service that runs to Zadar. The Studio is about a 10 minute walk to the beach and a little further to get to the harbour.
I stayed in Eddie and Linda's studio with a friend at the beginning of July. The apartment was clean and had everything that you could need including a huge CD collection. We loved playing music roulette, which consisted of choosing random CD's (no peaking!) To play.
Eddie and Linda were great hosts as they were on hand to offer advice on places to visit and where to eat (get them to tell you how to get to the fish shack.)
Eddie also picked us up at the airport and dropped us back off.
I would recommend the Studio, Babinji, Croatia and last but not least Eddie and Linda.
Look out Croatia I'm coming back!

Ci tornerei!
Linda ed Eddie sono stati gentilissimi e disponibili. Il mio compagno ed io ci siamo trovati molto bene in questo angolo di paradiso, la cui posizione è strategica per visitare i dintorni. Abbiamo soggiornato 4 giorni con la possibilità di visitare i posti principali della Dalmazia settentrionale. La cordialità e la discrezione dei proprietari ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa nostra. Lo studio è confortevole, Eddie lascia a disposizione dell'ottima musica per accompagnare i momenti che si trascorrono in casa. Sicuramente torneremo, anche solo per salutare Linda ed Eddie!

Fantastic base to explore Bibinje and Zadar
Just back from a fantastic week staying at the White House in Bibinje. Eddie and Linda the owners are such good hosts, from picking us up at the airport to giving us all the local information and things to do. Bibinje has a nice selection of restaurants and bars but we enjoyed going into Zadar old town during the day and at night. It is easy to get the bus from Bibinje into Zadar and they run until late. We also got the ferry from Zadar to an island called Uglia (not sure if that's how it's spelt) its a lovely island. If you walk along into Kali from there, there's a fantastic seafood restaurant where we ate 4 times in the week. All in all a lovely relaxing week and we would definitely hope to return to one day.

Cosy apartment with the friendliest welcome
The White House apartment is deceptive: on first viewing it seems small, but it is very well designed and appointed, and there is in fact plenty of room for two, with dining area and large sofa bed. Don't worry about it being a sofa bed either- it's very comfortable indeed, top quality; and I write as someone who generally can't stand the things.
We both found it very comfortable to stay in. It sits in a pine wood, meaning an open, wild, pine-scented pine wood, not some dreadful UK plantation. Neighbouring properties are at a reasonable distance.
Best of all are your hosts. Eddie & Linda give the best of welcomes. Eddie will give a guided tour of the village by car, which is hugely useful in getting orientated, and the two of them are perfect hosts- friendly, always on hand for advice, a blether, and/or a beer, but respecting your privacy absolutely.
It's perfectly situated for Zadar- about 15 minutes to the old town by car. Supermarkets, including a monster Spar International (not your UK corner shop) and a standard Lidl, about 10 minutes away.
Highly recommended for couples wanting a quiet place to stay that's still handy for town.

We know how tight money is these days and again this year we have kept the rates the same as the last two years. One week or more in the high season is at the discounted rate of £55 per night. Difficult to get this standard of accommodation and service cheaper.
We can accept payments by cheque or bank transfer in GBP or Euros.
HOWEVER there will be a charge of £5 on any cheque as this is what we are charged by the local bank!!
Rates include (Zadar) airport transfers.
