Sole e olive
Ed eccoci alla conclusione di questo magico soggiorno ligure.
Meraviglioso il paesino, Pietrabruna, meraviglioso affacciarsi alla finestra e ammirare le diverse sfumature di verde che coprono la valle incantevole. Si respira! Fa caldo, ma non troppo, l'arietta piacevole accompagna l'aperitivo con la vista mozzafiato. L'appartamento dove abbiamo.soggiornato era splendido, ben arredato, ottime.condizioni, pulito e confortevole. Fulvia splendida! Disponibile, gentile e accogliente. Lo consigliamo a tutti. Ci torneremo sicuramente e già ne sentiamo la nostalgia!

Amazing place and view
The location is amazing, the nice beach is only ~15 minutes by car. Amazing view from windows and terrace to the mountains. Fresh lemons and limes :-). Very clear air, silent place. Very good for sleeping and relaxation. We will visit again!

Sehr empfehlenswert
-die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich im italienischen Stil eingerichtet.
Sie ist sehr großzügig und hat historische Elemente. Die Ortschaft pietrabruna ist historisch, idyllisch, ruhig und abwärts vom turistentrubel der Küstenregion gelegen. Es gibt dort viele Möglichkeiten der Unternehmungen, z.b wandern, spazieren schwimmen. Der nächste Strand ist etwa 11 km ca. 20 min Fahrtzeit mit dem Auto entfernt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieterin ist sehr herzlich und hat immer ein offenes Ohr. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Fresh and relaxing
The apartment was verry clean and fresh. Wonderful view from the bedrooms and balcony. Big kitchen with balcony. Pietrobruna is a calm and lovely village that let your senses rest.

I due limoni - A wondeful introduction to the Italian Riviera
We spent 2 weeks here in August 2014. The drive up to the village was a bit of an eyopener to us being used to the roads of the UK but the scenery from the road is beautiful. Surrounded by olive and lemon trees (hence the name!) the terrace is a wonderful place to just relax at any time of the day. Everything we could need was provided in the kitchen. Linen is included too.
Fulvia couldn't have been more helpful and speaks excellent English.
We booked a meal at Au Torcio, the local restaurant, and enjoyed an 8 couse meal with wine, water, coffee & liquers all for 35€ each.
We were also treated to some of the local produce including Fulvias own tomatoes and basil.
Olive oil, lemoncello, manderincello, red wine & jam, all home made, are available to bring home making present buying easy.
You do need to be reasonably fit to access the apartment and explore the village but the views are worth the climbs.
We would return but probably not in August as the coast is very busy and we had to use the toll motorway more than we would have liked.
All in all though a lovely part of the world and a good base to explore from.

Beautiful relaxing and authentically Italian
Wow Pietrabruna, what an incredible find! We are a family of 4 New Zealanders (children 7 & 9) traveling Europe for 5 months now and Fulvia's house and the village of Pietrabruna would have to have been one of our most special weeks yet (and really good value). Not only is the village picturesque nestled on the side of a mountain, but the local people of Pietrabruna are so quick with warm welcoming smiles and we had the most delicious authentic Italian food in the local restaurant (not 1minutes walk away from the apartment through a maze of gorgeous little Italian mountainside buildings).
Fulvia's house is wonderfully equipped and comfortable, but the highlight would have to be the patio. Every morning and evening we had our meals out on the patio overlooking the tranquil green hills and tiny hillside villages. During the day the patio encouraged us to sit under the sun umbrella and read books until we felt so relaxed that we felt guilty and went for a walk in the hills or took a drive to the beach for a swim. Just perfect really, we would have loved to have stayed longer. I will add that it was great having a car to get supplies from local supermarkets and visit the Mediterranean for the odd swim.

Beautiful and relaxing holiday
We are a family of two adults and two children aged 6 and 10 years. We stayed for three weeks and could happily been there for three more weeks. Fantastic location with an equally stunning view.
Fulvia and Flavio are two lovely hosts, who could offer both local delicacies, as well as help and advice on cooking, local life, cities, beaches, shopping and more. Fulvia is fluent in English, and with our limited knowledge of Italian language, it was very helpful. The house was clean and very cozy, with a well equipped kitchen.
Pietrabruna is a charming medieval mountain village about 15 minutes drive from the sea and beaches. The town is full of narrow streets and alleys, picturesque houses and friendly residents. The kids loved it and were exploring the village every day.
The road up to Pietrabruna is narrow and winding, so we recommend not overly large car (we rented a Ford Focus in Nice, and it was excellent)
We highly recommend this place for those who wish to attend the genuine Italian life, food and wine, far away from city noise, traffic and tourism, but still within easy proximity to beach life, shopping and various markets. We recommend shopping in San Remo, the market in Oneglia, the secondhand market in Diano Marina and the beaches of San Lorenzo al Mare.

Sehr empfehlenswert! Wonderful!!
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem Haus sehr genossen. Es fehlt an nichts. Wir haben dort eine Woche mit unserer kleinen Tochter verbracht. Für sie wurde ein extra Baby Bett aufgebaut. Insgesamt war die Vermieterin sehr um unser Wohlbefinden bemüht. Als der Fernseher plötzlich kaputt ging, wurde sofort ein neuer gebracht und als wir einmal vor dem geschlossenen kleinen Laden im Dorf standen und nichts mehr zu essen hatten, hat sie uns mit ihren leckeren selbst gemachten Speisen ausgeholfen. Auch hatte sie gute Tips, wo man essen gehen kann und was man unternehmen sollte.
Besonders schön ist die Terasse, auf der wir schon zum Frühstück Sonne hatten und der Kamin, an dem wir Abends ein schönes Feuerchen gemacht haben.
Mit kleinen Babys muss man wissen, dass es in Pietrabruna quasi unmöglich ist, einen Kinderwagen zu benutzen, weil die urigen alten Gassen sehr steil und oft mit Treppen versehen sind. Wir hatten eine Babytrage mit und waren damit sehr gut bedient.
Das Haus ist sehr empfehlenswert!

The landlady was very concerned about our well-being . When the TV suddenly broke down , she brought immediately a new one and even when we were standing outside the closed small shop in the village and had nothing to eat, she helped us out with their delicious homemade food. She also had good tips on where you can eat and what you should do .
Especially nice is the terrace where the sun is shining already for breakfast and the fireplace, where we were sitting around a nice, warm fire in the evening.
When you travel with small babies, you need to know that it is not possible to use a stroller in Pietrabruna, because the old streets are very steep and often have stairs. We had a baby carrier with us and were very well served.
The house is highly recommended!

A truly lovely location with wonderful views across the valley . Well equipped renovated Ligurian house with comfy bed and everything you might need in a self catering property . Lovely views from the delightful terrace , fresh bread every morning in the tiny village shop and gorgeous walks straight from the house . A real bonus there is an excellent restaurant in the village who can cater brilliantly for vegetarians ( Il Torciu )
Fulvia is a brilliant host - very kind and helpful and fluent in English which was a real bonus . Wine, home made jam , olive oil and Lemoncello were all awaiting our arrival and also available to take home .
This is the ideal place if you are looking for peace and quiet in a gorgeous rural setting with the coast just 20 mins away . San Lorenzo is a lovely little non touristy resort complete with great gelateria .If you fancy a trip to the city trains are inexpensive and of course France is just over the border
All in all highly recommended
