Es war klasse. Wir waren 5 Personen, der Platz im Haus war locker ausreichend. Es war sehr sauber und wirklich herrlich dort. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Die Vermieter waren sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Danke für den super Aufenthalt

Home from home
Wow the views are amazing and right outside your window ! Just beautiful ! So welcoming spotless everything we needed big open fire so cosy this time of year .we loved the few days with our 7 month old choc lab he had a great holiday !! Tony and Ciss thank you again you are lovely people and we'll definitely be staying again ! We didn't starve Roaches Bar had a take out so yummy fresh haddock. Very quiet this time of year but that's the beauty of it.

Beautiful location
The most amazing view over the beach from the big windows. Bed was so comfy and there was everything we needed in this cosy little cottage like apartment. Short walk to town. Duncannon is beautiful. Could have stayed forever.

Fabulous location with breathtaking views
We had a great week here. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Great for our dog too. Tony and his wife were lovely and very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this. Without hesitation and hope to go again.

Ideal für Sport, Wandern, Sightseeing und Entspannen
Im Endreihenhaus "Seaview 10" verbrachten wir zu viert schöne und erholsame Urlaubstage. Der Vermieter Tony ist sehr nett, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.
Vom Bett aus den Strand und das Wasser mit seinen starken Gezeiten zu sehen, ist ganz groß. Das Haus ist großräumig, gut ausgestattet und durch die drei Schlafzimmer (jeweils zwei Betten) auch für entsprechend große Familien geeignet.
Duncannon ist noch reletav ursprünglich gehalten, der weitläufige Strand ist gut besucht. Sehens- und besuchenswert ist das Duncannon Fort.
Ansonsten bieten sich mit Wexford, Waterford, Kilmore Quay und die Saltee Islands sowie dem Leuchturm auf Hook Head nähere Ausflugsziele, ein Abstecher in die Wicklows und nach Kilkenny sind auch empfehlenswert.
Wir werden Tony und das Haus sowie auch Duncannon selbst gerne weiterempfehlen. Danke Tony.

Good location and views
Cosy and comfortable, with all amenities for a longer stay. Tony was helpful and obliging. We were two couples, and there was plenty of room, and the proximity to the main street and the pub was a bonus - a few minutes walk. We were able to explore nearby attractions, such as Hook Head Lighthouse, which was well worth the visit and the tour.
Just a few minor things let the house down - the curtains in the downstairs bedroom were only hanging from a few of the hooks, giving an unkempt impression, and the room was very bright at night due to street lighting - a blockout blind or curtains would definitely assist in getting a better nights sleep.

Fantastic Holiday Home
My husband and I have recently returned from a lovely week in this home. Tony was very helpful with any questions, both during our stay and before we arrived. The house had everything we needed, was clean and cosy. We especially appreciated that it was pet friendly.
We didn't need to go upstairs often as our bedroom and bathroom were both located on the ground floor. If we did however, I had to be careful on the stairs as they can be slippy. Nothing walking and holding onto the banister didn't solve though.
The proximity to the beach and sea is amazing. Its perfectly situated for walks on the beach at any time of day. Opening the curtains in the morning is just breathtaking, especially if you get the good weather we were fortunate to get.
We thought that Roches Bar and restaurant was a lovely place to eat in. We found the staff so welcoming and were treated like locals on our second visit.
Tony gives lots of excellent info on local attractions. We loved visiting the JFK arboretum, having afternoon tea on a river cruise in New Ross and visiting Hook Head. However our favourite place to visit was Kilmokea gardens. The amount of work and care put into this place is amazing, from the formal gardens, including rose beds to the enchanting forest, complete with a fairy village. I highly recommend it if in the area - they also have a tea room.
All in all, a fantastic holiday! Only drawback...having to leave!

Nice View
The owner Tony was very helpful on answering questions and had a sense of humor about the things in which his wife was more familiar. The house was in a beautiful location and was clean. Over all it was not a bad stay there were just a few things that you had to work around such as...The downstairs shower does tend to leak no matter how well you close it...nothing a towel on the floor can handle! The kitchen had lots of dishes and pots though it could have used some baking sheets etc. The line to air dry clothes was a nice touch but overtaken by the tree behind it, also with only 3 pins kind of hard to do much. However nothing a trip to the store couldn't fix. Hopefully they didn't mind that we left them behind for others to use. The house was well furnished though maybe to much in the living area so it was kinda cramped but with all the room for guests to sleep I can see why they need a place for so many to sit.
So with all this said it is a lovely house in a great location!! You could see the beach from the living room, and 2 bedrooms. You could even see the light from the hook lighthouse! Very friendly owner who told us about the ferry and local things! Spacious kitchen and eating area. Only 1 word of advice....make sure they show you how to turn on hot water to the house and power to the hob! Not hard to do or figure out but if you are not used to it you might be a bit upset when your dinner isn't cooking or your shower is cold LOL. Also look for the binder that has some suggestions for places to go and things to do it is also helpful!

Thanks for your review, did not realise those things were wrong and will move to correct them as soon as we can. I had no idea there was a problem with the shower, it would certainly be very messy. Never thought of telling you how to use those appliances and hardly noticed there was a line in the back yard let alone how many pegs were provided, thanks for leaving the extra pegs on the line. Did notice the hedge growing in but as it is in bloom now we can't cut it back, will have to cut back the hedge and find a new location for the clothes line next year.
I also plan to leave instructions as to how to use the different appliances and where to turn on the hot water in the information file, hope that will solve the problems. I have made a rule for myself that I will contact guests after a day or 2 to find out if they have any problems with aspects of the house. Thanks for all the information, it will help us to be better in the future.

4 stars only because of the good location
We loved that all the windows of the facade were facing the sea, but the back bedroom window was overlooking the cemetery... That doesn't frighten but not very favorable to rest. The house itself is good, but the bedrooms are not large at all, and definitely not very cleanly cleaned. Wooden stairs are quite slippery (probably because of the sea sand - in fact the sea next to the house). Must always remember and hold on to the handrail, and especially kids and seniors.

Thanks for your review. As regards size, wonder would it help if I put the area of house on the information?
The cleaning wasn't finished that day as one of your party arrived 3 hours early with a lot of luggage and food. Very hard to complete the cleaning when someone has moved their luggage in.
Will check out what we can do to make stairs safer, thanks for pointing it out to us.
We plan to move the window looking out on the cemetery to the end of the house so it looks out on the beach. Hopefully next year.
