Wonderfully clean apartment suitable for families with a exceptional host!!!
Our stay at this apartment was very comfortable. We were a family of four with 2 kids and it was just perfect. Public transportation is within 2 mins of the apartment with multiple grocery stores as well. Thomas was truly exceptional in taking care of everything we needed from umbrellas to any guidance we needed for our trip!!! Highly recommended!

Beautiful apartment in a great location!
The apartment is very modern, clean and the owner was very helpful. He was quick to respond to our questions and very friendly. This location is right next to the train station and the tram so it's very easy to get to the town center or anywhere you need to go!

Clean, spacious and well located
We were three adults staying for a long weekend. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, very well appointed and clean. It was reasonably priced and located very close to the u-bahn and local amenities. We used it as a base to explore the city but the area is worth spending some time in too, it seemed very relaxed and welcoming.
Thomas was very helpful, making suggestions where else we could go to get a flavour of the city.

A really great place to stay
Spotlessly clean with all the facilities that you need, this apartment in the 18th District of Vienna was a great place to stay. Transport links into the city were a one minute walk away and extremely frequent some great cafés and restaurants also close by. The owner Thomas was extremely helpful and the communication prior to arrival with directions and local knowledge was second to none. In terms of value for money, you'd be mad to pay for a small hotel room when this provided a spacious apartment.
I would definitely recommend Apartment 8 and would have no hesitation to stay again

Excellent Place to Stay in Vienna
This was truly a great place to stay. Nicely appointed and an excellent location. The appartment is less than a one minute walk from the Volksoper U-bahn and perhaps a twenty minute walk to the Rathaus. The Landlord is cordial and quick to respond to any inquiries. I would highly recommend this place.

Spacious and airy apartment for families in a good location
Apartment 8 is really large compared to many others we have stayed in with high ceilings and large main rooms. Its floorplan stretches over the entire floor of the apartment block so there was great natural light during the day. Access is easy as it is only on the first floor (up one flight of double stairs) from the entrance. The manager , Thomas, was on hand on our arrival with helpful explanations and useful information.
The apartment location is just outside the inner city, with great public transport options including both the underground train station and tram stops literally down the street. There are also 2 supermarkets located across the road a block away from the apartment and a nice little market a few blocks further up. Be aware that very few supermarkets in Vienna are open on Sundays (and staying over the Christmas/ New Year period we found that the shops also closed early on the eve of most public holidays).
I have to agree with a previous reviewer that the apartment was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable with good mattresses - including the sofa bed in the second bedroom. There is plenty of storage and wardrobe space. The second bedroom connects with the main bedroom but the doors are very thick throughout the apartment. The kitchen is a 1 person only space; quite small but compact with gas stove top and microwave (no oven) which we found perfectly fine. The bathroom is nicely appointed and has a shower over a large bathtub (quite high to step into) and a washer /dryer. Despite some sub-zero temperatures outside the central heating inside worked perfectly. Be aware as the tram passes the apartment outside you will hear the rumbles occasionally.
Our only issue was with the wi-fi which would sometimes 'drop out' but would then come back on again.
This was a fantastic apartment from which to explore Vienna and we would not hesitate to return. Thomas has stocked the apartment with a number of books about exploring Vienna. If you do stay here I recommend having a read of the book "Only In Vienna" which has some interesting suggestions for walks to explore the city looking at its "quirky" and more unusual history and sites such as the central cemetery in Simmering and the "flak' towers built by the germans during WW2.

First class apartment right next to metro links
6 stops north of Westbanhof but trains are every 5 minutes and it only takes minutes to be right in the centre of Vienna. Instructions for picking up the keys were impeccable and gave us confidence about the apartment itself. It's big, comfortable with good WiFi and served our needs perfectly. There's at least 2 supermarkets close and quite a few restaurants (I'd recommend GlasWeise just down the road). I believe the owner takes great pride in ensuring guests enjoy the apartment. Perfect for our 3 night stay.

Perfect place, great location.
I cant fault this apartment at all. The owner Thomas is a lovely man and although we only met briefly, his emails are very informative and were a great help. When we arrived Thomas was on vacation but he left us instructions to gain entry to the apartment and his sister's contact details (who also lives in the building) for any problems. When he returned, he popped round to make sure all was well and let us know it was a public holiday the following day and that the shops would be closed.
The apartment itself is lovely. High ceilings and plenty of space. It was clean and welcoming. The washer dryer was a great plus as we had packed lots for cooler weather and it ended up 30+ degrees! The kitchen was small but well equipped. However if space had allowed, a small oven would have made life a little easier but we still managed well.
There are plenty of towels and spare bedding if needed (we didn't). There is a cot in the main bedroom and a high chair if needed. There are plenty of cleaning products, spare bin liners etc. There is free wifi, a smart TV and a hifi with iPod dock (lightning connection) and lots of Vienna travel guide books to look at.
The apartment is over the road from the U Bahn station (Wahringer strasse - Volksoper) but when you leave the station you need to make sure you exit the side where there is a shop called "drum city" opposite and a cafe on the corner. Across from the cafe and along a little is a mens clothing store. Next to that you will find the communal front door to the building. We arrived in the dark and did struggle for a few minutes as we came out of the wrong exit at the station.
I would also recommend using the CAT train as my stepdaughter (who lives in Vienna while at Uni) tried to save us money by taking us from the airport via train and U Bahn but when we returned to the airport we were very impressed by the CAT and wished we had used it both ways.
The trams run past the apartment all day and also all night on weekends which delighted my 2 boys but could be a nuisance if you are a light sleeper. We had the windows closed to sleep even though it was very hot the week we stayed (it was a comfortable temperature for sleeping in the apartment even with them closed).
On our day of departure Thomas was flexible about us vacating the apartment. We then went on to be delayed 7 hours by easy jet but thats another story!
When I return to Vienna I would most definitely stay here again - provided it is still managed by Thomas. If not I will be looking him up and finding out what he has! I would also recommend it whole heartedly to family and friends.

Excellent Apartment
My husband, daughter and I loved staying in Apartment 8, Thomas was a fabulous host, answering emails very promptly and being there to offer advice when needed.
The apartment is lovely, very clean and well equipped. It's in a great area with a good selection of shops and restaurants and great transport links to all Vienna's sights.
I highly recommend this Apartment, you will not be disappointed.

Vienna offre uno dei migliori sistemi di trasporto pubblico. Il nostro porperty è vicino a diverse linee pubbliche tranpsort (metropolitana, tram, autobus, taxi). Se arrivate in auto: Dal 2017 tutto il nostro quartiere è un parcheggio a breve termine wide-area. Si consiglia di parcheggiare l'auto al Park & Ride impianto "Spittelau", che si trova a soli 2 stazioni della metropolitana di distanza e costa solo 3,40 euro al giorno. Per comprimere e decomprimere la vostra auto si può parcheggiare vicino al palazzo nella zona di parcheggio a breve termine (vi forniremo un biglietto di parcheggio 1 ora per voi a tale scopo).
