Beautiful apartment with nice views and a gracious host!
We stayed here for a week in May 2019. The apartment was spacious and bright with views of the ocean and a yard full of beautiful flowers and plants. Helder is very welcoming and helpful host. He even came and rescued us when we were lost on the first day. Lol. The apartment is located in a pretty town with a short walk to the center that has a market and other shops. Its quiet and peaceful the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. There is an outdoor hot tub to soak in and a great seafood restaurant, Bar Caloura, not far away. We had a wonderful time and would recommend staying here to anyone. We will stay here again for sure.

Perfect stay
My partner and I had a perfect stay at Helder and Ruben's house. The location is great for getting around to various parts of the island in addition to being very close to the beach. We also made plenty of use of the beautiful grounds and spa tub. No question we would stay again on our next visit to Sao Miguel. I would definitely recommend staying there!

Die Lage ist sehr schön,leider die Fotos weichen von der Realität ab.
Für Anspruchlose ist ok.
Trotzdem haben wir die wunderschöne Insel genossen.

Una bella vacanza
Helder, un simpatico padrone di casa che ci ha accolto con un' ottima bottiglia di vino! Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana ed è stato veramente piacevole. L'ubicazione della casa è geograficamente strategica per visitare l'isola di Sao Miguel.
Pensiamo già di ritornare!!!

Ideal location for sight-seeing or relaxing
Accommodations are new and functional.
Location makes an excellent base to explore.
Having a kitchen to cook and small stores nearby is a convenience.
It was also great to be able to wash clothes so as not to have to pack extra clothes and pack dirty laundry to take home.
There are also restaurants and swimming beaches nearby.
The ocean itself is walking-distance from the house.
You can also watch the sunset each night from inside the property.
Helder and Ruben are very helpful and I felt truly welcomed.

Spacious, comfortable apartment in a small town - great central location
I visited the week of June 17-24, renting a car to help explore the island. The apartment was spacious, bright and comfortable with all the conveniences of having your own kitchen, and a very comfortable bed. Located is a small town, with a beautiful public beach less than a 10 minute drive. Helder provided books and materials for helping plan daily excursions. All parts of the island are easily accessible from this central location. As it is in a smaller town, you will need to drive to eat out. He recommended a great restaurant a short drive away that I enjoyed so much I ate there three times for great seafood.

Nos encantó nuestra estancia en Beautiful Place Sunset! El apartamento estaba muy bien, era muy amplio y estaba muy limpio. La cocina estaba perfectamente equipada, el agua caliente iba muy bien, la cama era muy grande y muy cómoda... perfecto. Además, Helder el dueño es un chico muy amable que nos recibió con unos bollos de regalo y también nos invitó a cenar en su casa. Para él es una prioridad que sus huéspedes estén a gusto y se desvive por ellos. La verdad es que es genial. La casa está muy bien ubicada, cerca del mar y a 5-10 minutos andando al pueblo donde hay varios supermercados con todo lo necesario. Además de ello, la zona está en el centro de la isla por lo que es una ubicación muy práctica para llegar a todas partes. Si algún día volvemos a la isla esperamos poder volver a alojarnos en su casa!

Amazing place, great location and a wonderful host! So much more than we could have imagined!
As we arrived on the property we were thrilled to see a beautiful home with lush gardens and amazing surroundings. As for the apartment we rented, it was clean, very nicely decorated and looked like new. It was important for us to have a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, small oven, refrigerator and plenty of cooking utensils as we cooked the majority of our meals on-site. We were also very pleased with the comfortable bed, hot shower and reliable wifi.
The ocean is literally a 3 minute walk from the property. We spent many evenings walking along the shore, taking in the beautiful views and watching the sunset. We also enjoyed the scenic 15-20 minute walk to the quaint village of Agua de Pau, where we were able catch the bus to Ponta Delgada, Vila Franca do Campo and other neighboring towns for day trips. The village has a couple grocery stores as well as an excellent cafe, Senhora De Paó, which was a great place to get lunch, pastries, bread and coffee.
The host, Helder, is such a delightful individual! He really went above and beyond to make our stay such a great experience. He was very responsive to all our inquires (we literally emailed him from the states at what would have been 3AM his time and were surprised to get a response less than 15 minutes later). He also invited us over to his apartment the morning we arrived for coffee and to go over things to see and do on the island. We jokingly mentioned the famous orange cake I read about in other reviews and, although he was very busy taking care of the house and other guest, he made the time to make one for us. He really made us feel welcomed and cares that his guests have a comfortable stay. MANY MANY THANKS TO HELDER FOR YOUR KINDNESS!!!YOU MADE THIS A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!
We HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here and will definitely stay here again the next time we are back in the Azores.
