Highly recommended!!!!
An amazing experience at Villa Plumeria. The rooms are stylish and spacious, a private pool in a great size. Very clean space. Safe for kids. At a great spot of Tersanas. The owner very kind, friendly and helpful!! A really good choice for spending your vacations at Crete!

Family holiday
The local area and beach are beyond stunning! The beach cove is perfect and shallow, a beach bar on site has all you need. The local restaurant that over looks the beach is lovely, serves fresh delicious food with lovely service.
The accommodation was very luxurious and grand, the decor stunning. I would recommend for ages 6+. We were on edge with our 2 year old due to the steps up and down to the pool, and the floors in the house can be very slippery (make sure your feet are bone dry before going in). I’d recommend any children to have waterproof pool shoes on at all times! The floor around the pool is extremely hot (that can’t be helped by the owner due to the weather). The owner did supply a lovely cot, and a stair gate to downstairs area. However I would recommend the owner put a stair gate up to the roof terrace, we used chairs to block my toddler which did work. I’d also recommend using an extending detachable gate across the bottom of the marble staircase- just for extra safety.
The villa was beautiful and decorated perfectly, fresh clean, the beds comfy, one shower door was either missing or broken, making one shower room hard to use without soaking the floor, we just used the other room.
Local supermarket and other restaurants are definitely a taxi ride away, the walk would be up large hill and take 25 mins in very hot weather.
The owner was lovely, very accommodating and the taxi service prompt and reasonable.
Overall the beach is the selling point. I’d recommend the villa for families with older children, we travelled as 6 adults, a 6yr old and 2yr old. After some safety adjustments I’d say it was near perfect.

An amazing villa
From the initial booking to waving Steve the owner of goodbye the experience of Plumeria Villa was exceptional.
We (a family of 8) booked directly with Steve which was easy to do and before our stay I sent a few emails with a number of questions which were answered quickly and put my mind to rest.
Steve arranged a minibus and driver (Stefano, lovely chap) to meet us at the airport and take us to the villa where Steve met us with a show round.
The villa is stunning, beautiful decor, comfortable beds everything you need plus extras for my 2 year old grandson a cot, hightchair and stairgate (the stairgate is a MUST as the bedrooms are downstairs and the staircase is marble and spiral).
Plus a very well equipped kitchen.
The views from the villa are beautiful.
The outside area is fabulous, fully fenced and gated so perfectly safe.
The large swimming pool is beautiful and warm so no cold shocks! Note there is no shallow end though if travelling with young children.
The little pool was a perfect depth for our 2 year old, great fun playing with his dinosaur toys 😊. Note the small pool filter has a metal cover that will burn fingers and toes so cover with a towel.
The barbecue area and undercover dining/bar area is equipped with sink and fridge so perfect for not having to keep going in for snacks and drinks.
There are lots of stone steps leading to each pool so maybe not ideal for a crawling baby or toddler, made for a nervous grandma 😬.
The play area was a nice touch.
The little bay that is a two minute walk from the villa is ideal for families, such calm waters and the bonus of sunbeds/umbrellas and a snack bar.
The taverna to the right of the bay is great serving fresh amazing food (we went 5 nights out of 7 😊) with lovely staff.
I would totally recommend the villa, definitely the prettiest one you’ll ever find I’m sure!

Relaxing by the sea

Außergewöhnlich
Wir haben mit Freunden (4 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder) 10 Tage in der Villa Plumeria verbracht. Zusammenfassend kann man sagen, dass sowohl die Villa als auch die Betreuung durch den Hausbesitzer Steve wirklich "außergewöhnlich" waren. Die Villa hat von WLAN bis zu "Standup-Boards" alles zu bieten, was man "heute" für einen gelungenen Sommerurlaub benötigt, von der Begrüßung bis zur Verabschiedung stand der Hausherr für alle Fragen und Anliegen zur Verfügung. Der naheliegende Strand ist schön, und durch Sandstrand und Bucht für Kinder geeignet. So schön, wir haben das wirklich schöne Pool kaum genutzt. Zu Fuß sind mehrere Tavernen erreichbar, wir waren jedoch mit Mietauto unterwegs und haben in 15 min Entfernung mehrere hervorragende Strände und Tavernen erreicht und besucht.
Auch das wirklich atemberaubend schöne Chania war sowohl per Taxi (€25,-) als auch per Mietauto leicht erreichbar.
Wir haben 10 wirklich außergewöhnlich schöne Tage verbracht und können die Villa Plumeria wirklich für einen tollen Familienurlaub empfehlen!

Wunderschön, perfekt!
Die Villa Plumeria Crete in Tersanas hat alles, was man für einen luxuriösen Urlaub am Meer braucht. Wir mieten immer Villen am Meer, aber das was bisher das schönste Haus. Zwei Familien (4 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder im Alter zwischen 10 und 18 Jahren) hatten viel Platz, Es gibt im Untergeschoß, das ebenerdig liegt, 4 große Schlafzimmer mit eigenen Bädern, WC und Zugang nach draußen. Im Obergeschoß ist die große, offene Küche - voll ausgestattet - ein herrlicher Balkon mit Meerblick und ein riesen Wohnzimmer (Netflix), WC. Alles ist voll klimatisiert. Von dieser Ebene kommt man in den schönen Garten mit wunderschönen, großen Bäumen, Blumen,... dem Pool, Grill, Outdoorbar und vielen gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten und schattigen Plätzchen. Ein Poolboy kümmerte sich um den Pool, eine Reinigungskraft säuberte das Haus und brachte neue Handtücher,... Alle war ganz wunderbar.
2SUP stehen bereit, um mit zum Meer genommen zu werden. Die kleine Sandbucht liegt 2 Gehminuten vom Haus entfernt. Türkises Wasser, schöne seichte Bucht. Dort gibt es einige Liegen, Schirme zu mieten und eine Strandbar.
Das Allerbeste am Urlaub in der Villa Plumeria ist aber Besitzer und Gastgeber Steve, der extrem sympathisch, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend ist. Er ist immer für uns erreichbar gewesen, hat uns viele Tipps gegeben und uns geholfen, gute Restaurants, Boote oder Strände zu erreichen. So einen Gastgeber hatten wir noch nie. Er hat uns "sein" Chania gezeigt und uns zu einem wundervollen Essen am Meer eingeladen...Die Buchung hat ausgezeichnet funktioniert, die Villa liegt nur 15 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt.

Beautiful villa, perfect holiday
We had a wonderful family holiday in the villa. Nothing to say, everything was perfect. And especially an owner available for his customers! A big thank you to the owner Steve for his welcome and availability during our stay, we greatly appreciated.
The villa is very beautiful and very clean. The photos correspond exactly to what is found on site. It is very well equipped and very spacious. The exterior of the property is completely fenced and protected from neighbors. The area of the pool, paddling pool and lounge is very nice. This is a very nice location. The villa also offers 3 bicycles, 1 canoe and 2 paddles, easily transportable to the beach. The villa is beautiful, nothing to say and really to recommend that it be for holidays in family or between friends. Housekeeping is done every 3 days with change of towels and sheets.
The villa is very well located in a beautiful area with the small sandy beach nearby (less tourist) with deckchairs and parasols available for rent (8 € for the day for 1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds). There are small restaurants near the villa. The main and very charming town of Chania is within a 20 minute drive. A beautiful region to discover Crete.
We will not fail to recommend your villa to our surroundings and hope to come back next time. Many thanks. Nadège and her family

Great villa, great location, great people and great holiday
The villa is perfectly located just seconds away from a fabulous cove that is perfect for small children (and adult ones like the ones we brought along!) and a bar and taverna. There's also a home delivery service from local taverna that has appetisers that are top notch.
You definitely do need to hire a car though - the shops are too far to walk, but then the driving is not a problem, everyone is very courteous.
The villa is very well equipped and has excellent (not noisy) air conditioning. It has good showers and comfortable beds (and that matters to us!)
Above all, I have to say that Steve is the most convivial host you could ever hope to meet; nothing is too much trouble and he made us feel very special.
This was out first visit to Crete and it is a fabulous island and this is a fantastic place to stay.
