We really liked to stay at this apartment. We were a family of 4 persons with 2 teenage boys sharing one bedroom. The apartment has almost all the things you need. Only missed a coffee machine but we made coffee on the stove, so no real problem. With laundry machine and dish washer it was a really easy living. In the near area there are several restaurants and a grocery store, plus a bakery. And with a walk of about 10-15 minutes you are right at the Acropolis. Or only a few more minutes to many other tourist attractions. We really liked this a lot and can recommend this apartment. The owner and his son is very helpful too.

We stayed in Cosy Apartment for one week in October 2019. We found it ideal in every way: it was well furnished, clean, safe, quiet and located in an attractive, residential (and untouristy) neighbourhood, close to Ana Petralona metro station. The owner's son gave us a warm welcome and a helpful tour around the area: shops, small supermarkets and restaurants are within a five minute walk. The metro gives easy access to the archeological sites, museums and the city centre. In the flat, we particularly appreciated the big front balcony, the comprehensive kitchen equipment - and the washing machine! Full marks to the owner and his son for creating a home from home.

The apartment had spacious living room, two bedrooms both with balconies, and one full shower/tub bathroom and a small toilet, sink, and washing machine room. The kitchen seated four people and the refrigerator was large. George, John's son, was fantastic at welcoming us and helping us find grocery stores, a pharmacy, and recommended some places to eat nearby. The Internet always worked, which was very important to us! Tissues, garbage bags, pots and pans, everything was there! The only problem we had was trying to keep the heat turned up. It seemed to be on a program that after a couple hours it would drop its temperature. The apartment is within walking distance of the Acropolis. The area was all residential.

Comfortable apartment near train station, Acropolis and many stores and restaurants. Well maintained and modern. Very helpful and friendly English speaking host.

We are one mature couple and stay for 10 days in the Cosy apartment in early September, but would stay for another 100 days at least. Note that all good reviews about this apartment are true, try not to repeat. Location is close to Petralona station in quiet and safe neighborhood, just one train / metro stop from Thyssio and two stops from Monastiraki, that is the main starting point for all trips in Athens. Recommend to buy metro ticket for 5 days that is 19 Euro/person, valid on all public transportation lines. All amenities are provided and even more than you might need, of very good quality and well maintained. The hosts John and his son George are very nice and helpful, available all the time "next door to you". Enjoy your holiday, like we did.

Les avis sur cet appartement étaient justes. Nous avons été accueillis par Georges, le fils du propriétaire,comme jamais nous ne l'avons été : visite de l'appartement, explications et visite du quartier avec conseils et informations précieuses (parking au Pirée). L'appartement dispose de deux terrasses, de chambres spacieuses et bien aménagées, d'un grand salon. La place de parking est appréciable. Nous sommes à deux stations de Monastiraki, à 30minutes à pied de l'Acropole, tout en étant au calme et dans un quartier sécurisant. Si nous revenons à Athènes, c'est ici, sans hésiter, que nous logerons. Surtout ne changez rien, c'est parfait !! Un grand MERCI!

A dieci minuti a piedi dall'Acropoli, nel tranquillo quartiere di Petralona. Appartamento ampio di due stanze, cucina, soggiorno e doppi servizi, dotato di lavatrice, lavastoviglie, climatizzazione, e parcheggio privato. Ideale per quattro persone, ci siamo trovati comunque benissimo in cinque. Possibilità di mangiare in terrazza, o in uno dei tipici ristoranti a due passi dall'appartamento, frequentati soprattutto da greci. I proprietari sono ospiti attenti, parlano un inglese perfetto, e sanno darvi le prime dritte per un piacevole soggiorno ad Atene. Consigliato.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Cosy Apartment in Athens. The apartment is located in a very nice and modern building. After a five minute walk from the Metro, George met us there, did a thorough explanation of all the apartments amenities and even took us on a quick walk around the neighborhood to show us where everything was located. Just be aware that the Greek Latinization of the address is Aioleon (which is what is listed on local street signs vs Eoleon).The area has everything you need—a couple of grocery stores, several excellent eateries and a safe, real residential vibe away from tourists. The building had an elevator (great after those long walking tours of Athens) and the apartment itself was very comfortable and well furnished with cookware, dinnerware, lots of seating, great WiFi and a couple of nice balconies with canopies that were great in the late evenings after a hot Athens day). We were a bit concerned about the firmness of the beds but we didn’t have any trouble sleeping. Water pressure and hot water were great and the apartment has a small washing machine and dishwasher. All the windows have shutters which seal out the light and make the apartment totally quiet from any street noise (which there wasn’t that much of anyway. In our view, there were no negatives about the place or our stay!

My nephew (age 22) and niece (age 19) and I stayed in this lovely unit in May 2018. The location was excellent - enough distance to be out of the tourist crowds, but an easy metro ride to all attractions. The apartment was a comfortable size for three adults and we spent time each evening on the large terrace. The neighbourhood itself had a number of local restaurants and grocery stores within an easy walking distance. Our host George was wonderful - welcoming and showed us around the neighbourhood when we arrived. He was also very kind when I accidentally locked us out of the unit, arriving within 15 minutes to let us back in. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy not only the tourist sites, but an authentic neighbourhood experience.

How wonderful it was to stay in the cozy apartment near the Acropolis in Athens! It was clean and plenty roomy for our girls’ trip. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the balconies were a delight:). The location of the apartment couldn’t have been better. It is near the train and bus stops and a short and lovely walk through the park takes you right to the Acropolis and the Plaka. All that is great, but the best part is that it is away from the tourist area and in a local neighborhood where the people are charming and the food is both exceptional and affordable-even for Greece. George is a thoughtful host who arranged for airport pickup and then met us at the apartment. After showing us the place, he spent an hour walking us around the neighborhood and showing us the way to the ruins, the best restaurants, the pharmacy and the fresh market. What a delight. I couldn’t give a higher recommendation. Thanks so much!
