Appartamento moderno ben accessoriato. balcone con vista spettacolare sull'Acropoli. cucina attrezzata e camere spaziose. quartiere tranquillo con posto auto. con qualche accorgimento in più nei dettagli e cura dei particolari tipo lampadine bruciate o prese corrente staccate, sarebbe perfetto.

Our host Michalis was extremely helpful and efficient every step of the way. His English is perfect, so we had no problems with communication. He welcomed us to his property located in a residential neighbourhood, a very spacious penthouse apartment, accessible by elevator, with a large terrace with the Acropolis in the background; it was perfect for us as a senior couple. It has plenty of storage in both the bedroom and bathroom; the kitchen was adequately furnished with a large refrigerator and smaller freezer. Though we didn't use the fireplace, it was nice to have. Air conditioning throughout, great for summer! Washing machine on balcony. Walking distance to Metro, 5 stops away from the Acropolis! About 45 minute walk to the edge of touristic area. A few small Souvlaki shops in the neighbourhood for a delicious and inexpensive eat-in or take-out meal. About 3 to 4 blocks from a supermarket (open Mon-Sat) and a little further a fruit-and-veg market open all week. About 10 minute walk from the Larissa Metro (get a 5-day Metro pass for Eur10!). One needs a phone to contact the host on arrival as the location is in a private apartment building with no concierge;no big deal but as the building is not well marked, it's good to Google it first to have an idea of how it looks on the outside.
