We are just back from a wonderful week in Villa Aurelia. We were 8 adults and 3 kids and the villa just had everything to accommodate and entertain everyone. The pool was amazing and we spent most of our time in it. They have Netflix on the TV and plenty of board games available to use. The area is great, only a short walk to restaurants and the beach. Although there's a little hill to walk when coming back to the villa so bear this in mind.
Guy was very pleasant to deal with when booking the villa and Emma was very nice and helpful while we were there. I would definitely recommend this villa!

Superb Villa in great location.
Villa was perfect for our family holiday. Our party of 6 adults and 5 children (aged between 10 weeks and 11 years) enjoyed the local area, facilities, entertainment (TV with large range of channels, pool, table tennis and football tables).
The swimming pool which we had heated, became the centre piece of our holiday. We did walk (10 mins) to the beach and restaurants on a couple of occasions but we enjoyed dinners on the patio area in the evenings, overlooking the lovely gardens.
All the equipment worked as you would expect and we always knew the management (Emma) were close by if we needed anything.
The villa was everything we expected and we are planning our next visit.

Outstanding family Villa and perfect small wedding venue
Villa Aurelia is just perfect. We contacted the owners to request that we book the Villa for a family holiday but also to use as our reception venue for our wedding. Guy and Aurelia were exceptionally helpful from the outset and even allowed us and our caterers to visit the villa on several occasions before the event. The villa was ideal for my family of 8 adults and 5 children. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were spacious and the the whole villa inside and out was spotlessly clean. The living space both inside and out was more than expected and the heated swimming pool was wonderful for all our family. The location is excellent with the beach a short walk away and within a 5 minute stroll you have a wide range of great restaurants. As a venue for our wedding venue it was perfect. We had outstanding caterers, recommended by Guy and Aurelia, who were able to use the kitchen and outside BBQ to create a feast for our guests. The garden was large enough to easily accommodate our 36 guests for the sit down dinner. The side terrace provided the ideal shaded area for drinks and canopies and the front terrace provided a great area for our DJ and dance area. Overall I would highly recommend Villa Aurelia as the perfect family holiday home and wedding venue. Guy and and Aurelia were always available and very helpful and the support we were given by Emma who manages the Villa was exceptional, she is a true professional and was our Guardian Angel on our wedding day. Thank you Guy and Aurelia your Villa provided the perfect holiday home for our family and the perfect wedding venue for all our guests.

Amazing holiday in a fab villa
Had a great stay in Villa Aurelia at the start of June 2022. The villa was lovely and spacious and very well equipped. We were a group of 6 adults and 2 children (2 and 4 year old) and everything was provided for the kids including a cot, highchair, bedguard, kids cutlery and plates, stairgates, buggy and blackout blinds in the bedrooms. Loved having the additional fun of a table tennis table and pool table. The swimming pool was fab and we had it heated so perfect for the kids. Lots of different areas to sit and chill around the villa. The garden was beautiful and very well maintained.
The food and drink welcome pack on arrival was a lovely gesture.
Emma who met us at the villa and showed us around was very friendly and welcoming. Guy the owner was also great throughout, regularly communicating with myself and was happy for us to postphone our holiday for a year due to covid.
The location was great. The villa was an 8 minute/500 metre walk down a part steep hill to the beach (but we still managed to push the buggy back up the hill) with a great local supermarket on the way.
Loads of amazing restaurants to eat at in the area, which were recommended by Emma and on trip advisor. We loved the Italian La Glera, El Olivo, La Tona, and La Familia.
We had an amazing week and would not hesitate to come back again.

A truly lovely villa and perfect holiday
My family and I have just returned from a wonderful 2 week holiday at Villa Aurelia which included 3 generations. My husband and I had our 3 year old and 5 month old baby and we all stayed in the master bedroom together with plenty of room to still move around.
Everything was so easy when it came to Villa Aurelia. It was an easy 5 minute walk to the lovely El Bombo beach which had a couple of beach restaurants and bars, and just before the beach is a handy supermarket as well as a few more restaurants and bars. We highly recommend The Blue Marlin – the food and wine were delicious! Pura Asia which is a little bit further also provided delicious Thai and Chinese food. However, the BBQ and kitchen facilities at Villa Aurelia meant that we ate in the majority of the time especially as it was so easy to buy everything you needed from the big supermarkets (Aldi, Lidl & Macedonia) close by.
We travelled into Marbella and Puerto Benaus by bus which again was easy and cheap, however the local taxi service was very efficient, and we never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for a taxi after calling. We used the transfer company recommended by Guy to transfer us to and from Malaga airport.
We were looking for a villa which didn’t require us to hire a car and this villa ticked the box. The swimming pool was used every day and with the option to have it heated meant the children loved being in it. The villa was also very private with the pool totally secluded. It also helped having a fence and gate to shut the pool off from the seating area outside so we could contain our 3 year old when needed! It was a lovely relaxing holiday with every evening spent outside playing cards. Emma was very welcoming and always on hand to answer any questions and Guy and Aurelia responded to any queries quickly.
We hope to return for another lovely holiday in the future.

Amazing family holiday
This really is the perfect villa and holiday location. We were a large group (6 adults, 6 kids and a baby) from the same family looking to spend some quality family time together. Villa Aurelia is a fantastic large villa in a beautiful location with a sea view. It really is everything it promises to be and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others. From booking, Guy and Aurelia were informative, prompt at responding to emails and communication was excellent with regard to our stay. They supplied extra baby equipment which was invaluable, the welcome pack was brilliant (everything we needed to know about the villa and local area and they even supplied some food and drink to get us started) and Emma was always there when we needed her. The Villa itself is beautifully decorated, luxurious, spacious and accommodated our 3 families perfectly. The kids and adults loved the pool, garden, balcony, pool/table tennis table and the air con was a saviour. The local supermarket, lovely restaurants and beach are only a 5/10 minute walk away from the villa and Cala de Mijas is a beautiful 20 minute beachfront walk where you will find play parks, shops and a wide range of restaurants to suit everyone. We visited friends in Benalmadena which was about 30 minutes drive by bus and taxi. Airport transfers to and from the airport were recommended by Guy and were very prompt and friendly. We really had the most wonderful family holiday and we will return. Thank you Guy and Aurelia

Exceeded all our expectations
We have just returned from a wonderful 3 generation family holiday at the villa Aurelia.
This villa is ideal for a large group of friends or family as there is so much room both inside and out.
The villas location was ideal for us as we preferred not to hire cars. The beach, small supermarket, bar and restaurants are only a five minute walk away. The centre of Cala de Mijas is about a 20 minute stroll, we had 4 young children who were quite happy to walk. It is a lovely family resort.
The villa exceeded all expectations. It is spotlessly clean, contains everything you may require including many safety items for young children. We made full use of the pool and the children loved the garden.
From the time of booking the villa, Guy, the owner was very helpful with my numerous questions. At the resort Emma met us at the villa with a much appreciated welcome pack.
We all had a fantastic holiday and now have wonderful memories. We would go back in an instant and completely recommend this villa

Perfect size and location
We had an absolutely wonderful holiday. We loved it so much that we are talking about coming back next year hopefully (if you will have us back!).
We wouldn't have changed anything, a perfect villa with has everything we needed, with plenty of space and perfect location.
Emma was very helpful and assisted us with any questions we had about the area. The welcome pack that was provided when we got there was so amazing, we were truly grateful for everything.
I cant recommend it enough.

We had a great family trip in Villa Aurelia
We had a great family trip in Villa Aurelia, we have plenty of good memories there. The villa is spacious and cosy, and we felt at home. The amenities are great for kids and adults: table tennis, big garden, snooker, and the swimming pool - we were nearly in November but thanks to the heating system we spent a lot of time there playing with the kids!
The villa is very well located, about 25 minutes away from Malaga airport, the neighborhood is charming and quiet, and the villa is close to the beach, tennis court, and the city center of La Cala de Mijas with supermarkets and restaurants at walking distance! It’s also a good location to visit Andalusia, we went to Malaga, Mijas and Ronda ...

Beautifull House, already booked for next year, we loved it !
We loved our stay at this Aurélia villa in Calla de Mijas! It's was very relaxing, with a great location near the beach. We came down for a week at the beginning of november. Great weather and a warm pool ! Beautiful villa house well equipped, decorated and clean. The owners are very nice, welcoming, and responsive.
See you next year !
