Now as the year comes to an end we were walking down memory lane and thought about our years highlights. Staying for 12 nights at this wonderful flat, enjoying our breakfast while the sun rose every morning, heading by foot or bus to the multiple destinations nearby and ending with a sundowner at our terrace was definitely one highlight, if not to say the TOP 1. And Nuno you made that possible. Before our arrival you already took initiative and organized a taxi for us. With the warmest welcome, bread, fruits, beverages, everything included you opened your flat for us and also found a special place in our heart. We never experiences such outstanding hospitality and can only recommend for everyone considering booking in here: DO IT! Thanks again for making our year, hope to see you soon friend. Nuno was a perfect host who maintained excellent communication from our initial booking enquiry through to our departure. He went out of his way and worked very hard to accommodate an early check in for us and also arranged our taxi from and to the airport. The apartment was stunning and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. It was very spacious, extremely comfortable and very well equipped both inside and out. The only downside for us was the noise from the barking dogs in the apartment block at the front/side of the apartment and at the rear of the apartment. We appreciate that this is totally outside of Nuno's control but unfortunately it meant that we had to spend more time going out of the apartment than we would have liked. We had a very enjoyable holiday including a Levada walk, a dolphin watching trip recommended by Nuno, walks into Funchal and good food at numerous places. Madeira is very beautiful.

We have just returned from a week here. The apartment is well located in a quieter part of town away from the main tourist areas. This suited us nicely and it was a great base to visit lots of places on the island. A hire car is recommended to get around as this makes things much easier. The apartment itself was clean and had everything we needed for a week self catering. The view is great and the private terrace was perfect to relax and enjoy time outside. Nuno is a great host. He met us personally at the apartment to show us around even though we arrived much earlier than planned. He is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Couldn't have asked for a more welcoming host. We will return in future.

Oh my God - what an amazing Studio apartment with terraced balcony. Easily best accommodation we have ever stayed in . Nuno was perfect host , very friendly and helpful in every way. Nothing was a problem . Great location in quiet area of Funchal with sea view. Outside area amazing with Barbeque , deck chairs, sun umbrella, etc. Apartment - like being at home , fully kitted out with every thing you need and air conditioned . Only had to buy perishable items as most other items were in apartment. Excellent coffee shops and bars all in 5 minutes walk. Walk to Lido & rock pool at Ponta Gordo 20 mins. Bus stop 3 min walk to bring you into City Centre . Fantastic apartment and was highlight of our 2 week Holiday. Thank you Nuno for making ur stay most memorable . Jim & Marie Feighan

As the title says, the appartement with its beautiful rooftop terrace is located right in the heart of São Martinho's residential area. This gave us the opportunity to shop and dine where the locals go instead of feeling like we're in a big touristic spot. For shopping and groceries the Forum Madeira is perfect. We also enjoyed the bakery and pizza place around the corner. From the apartment we could reach those touristic spots in Funchal easily by bus, which departs close to the appartment. Later on, it was also not an issue to park our hired car for the last couple of days. The nicely and modernly decorated flat itself was roomy and had an especially well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Breakfast and dinner on the spacious terrace offered a nice view over the area towards the sea. Although, we did not experience the highest of temperatures during our stay, we quite enjoyed the air conditioning. The reason why we rated the appartment with 4/5 stars is that the cleanliness was not excellent in all aspects, e.g. we found that we had to wash some of the dishes before first use and even after washing our towels in the washing machine, they smelled a bit musty. Nevertheless, we would definitely recommend this appartment for staying on beautiful Madeira. A huge thank you to Nuno for being such a forthcoming and helpful host who offered help with anything concerning our stay on the island!

Just returned from a week at this lovely apartment. It is in a quiet residential area about half way between Funchal and Csmara de Lobos, both of which we walked to (spprox 30-40mins), but you can also get the bus to either for €1.95 from the bus stop a short walk away. (Facemasks are still currently mandatory on public transport) It is a couple of rosds back from the seafront. There are local restaurants and bakery/cafes plus a couple of bars close by with a nice 'local ' feel. The apartment is very well presented and is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay , with lots of little extra touches. There was a really nice welcome pack with lots of fruit and bread, drinks in the fridge and tea and coffee . There was an additional lovely surprise of a nice bottle of wine for my husbands birthday and some handmade chocolates. The terrace is very large and sunny with a sea view , and a great place to eat or just sit and read or relax on the loungers or the comfy sofa. Unfortunately the hot tub was not available due to covid restrictions There is a lift to the 6th floor and then one flight of stairs to the apartment. As with everywhere in Madeira, there is a lot of walking either up or down! and it certainly gives your leg muscles a work out walking down to the sea front/beach but if you don't fancy that , the roads are good and easy to navigate and car hire freely available. Nuno is the the best host you could wish for. Communication was excellent ftom the start and he arranged taxi transfers from the airport and met us at the apartment to show us around. We also did a full day tour with Nuno to a beautiful vineyard in the North and then nuns valley where we had a fabulous meal at a rustic local restaurant.....it was a great day . He and his wife Celina also took us to a poncha bar one evening high in the mountains with a breathtaking view over camara de lobos. Nuno and Celina are very friendly and engaging and do everything to make your stay as good as possible, from recommending and booking restaurants (with a discount) , arranging bus passes or tours etc Thoroughly recommended 😁

Communication with Nuno was first class from booking to arrival and during our holiday. Welcome food and drink pack was a lovely gesture and most welcome after our journey. The apartment was amazing with lovely sea views. We used the bus service to get us to Funchal centre which was very good and frequent. All in all a lovely relaxing time had in beautiful Madeira. What an excellent studio ! Nuno has thought of everything. His communication from booking to leaving the studio was faultless. The balcony is huge with fab views. A total sun trap too. We couldn't have found a better place and host. Thank you for your hospitality Nuno. Ian and Joan.

Die Unterkunft von Nuno war sehr schön und wir haben 4 tolle Tage in Funchal verbracht!! Nuno war ein sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber und wir würden jederzeit wieder bei ihm buchen.

Das Appartement ist sehr sauber und gut geräumig für 1-2 Personen. Mit dem Sofa im Wohnzimmer geht es auch zu dritt. Eine warme Dusche, ein bequemes Bett, eine kleine Küche und gefühlt mehr Terrasse als Wohnraum, was will man mehr?! Ach ja da kommt ja noch der Blick aufs offene Meer und jeden Sonnenuntergang beobachten zu können. Meine Freundin und Ich haben in Nuno's Appartement 2 Wochen verbracht und sind zu 100% zufrieden mit der Location gewesen. Ich kann es jedem weiter empfehlen :D # The flat is very clean and spacious for 1-2 people. With the sofa in the living room, it also works for three. A warm shower, a comfortable bed, a small kitchen and what feels like more terrace than living space, what more could you ask for! Oh yes, there is also the view of the open sea and being able to watch every sunset. My girlfriend and I spent 2 weeks in Nuno's flat and were 100% satisfied with the location. I can recommend it to everyone :D
