The House A town House 30m from Camões Square, in the very heart of the luxury historical part of Lisbon. The house includes the top two floors, comprising a living room and kitchen on the main floor and two bedrooms, bathroom and a small sunny terrace on the top floor. All the famous facilities are nearby: S. Carlos Opera, S. Luis Theatre, Museum of Modern Art, Brasileira café, and many other museums, theaters, and plenty of trendy cafes and restaurants. In the neighbourhood there are many famous shops: fashion shops, bookshops, ice-cream shops, hairdressers, etc. It has also many practical facilities nearby, as supermarkets (including biological), bakeries, fruit and vegetable shops, groceries. The house is as central as it gets. You are literally 100 metres from the Baixa/Chiado Me...The House A town House 30m from Camões Square, in the very heart of the luxury historical part of Lisbon. In the neighbourhood there are many famous shops: fashion shops, bookshops, ice-cream shops, hairdressers, etc. It has also many practical facilities nearby, as supermarkets (including biological), bakeries, fruit and vegetable shops, groceries. The house is as central as it gets. You are literally 100 metres from the Baixa/Chiado Metro Station (Blue/Green Line) and taxi spot, 30m from the famous 28 Tram and other Buses, 7 minutes walking distance to the train stations of Cais do Sodré and Rossio, which can take you to Cascais or Sintra. You are 15-20 minutes away, on foot, to the main features of the old town: Baixa quarter, the Castle, Alfama, the river side, the Botanical Garden, a lot famous squares and belvederes. In Camões Square you have a big underground parking. The house has been renovated recently, it has double-glazed windows, sound-proof shutters on the windows. The house has many real paintings, drawings and printings and real plants/flowers. The main bedroom has a double bed with orthopaedics mattress, a sofa, a mirror, two closets and a balcony. The balcony has a small table and two chairs. The other bedroom has two single beds and a chest of drawers. The kitchen is fully equipped, including coffee expresso machine and electric tea kettle. The living room has two sofas, a puff, one dining table and chairs, a small table, and cable TV with international channels. There are some books and games available like chess, cards, etc. The bathroom has a cabin shower, a toilet, a washbasin, and hair dryer. The house provide bed linen and towels. You have access to free Wi-Fi in the entire house. Guest Access You will be the only guests sleeping in the building (there is only this house) and have access to all the spaces listed above. Interaction with Guests The owners, Sara and Mario, work nearby, and are pleased to help in any way, whether you want a recommendation of places to visit or solving a problem. If you want privacy we are also happy to leave you undisturbed. We speak English, Spanish, and some French. The Neighborhood The house is located on the edge of the Bairro Alto neighbourhood, famous for its restaurants, cultural life, fado houses and night life. Bordering Camões Square, it is also right next to Chiado: the centre for all the cultural life of Lisbon, where the famous theatres, cafés and museums are located: S. Carlos Opera, S. Luis Theatre, Museum of Modern Art, Brasileira café, and many others. Getting Around The house is as central as it gets. You are literally 100 metres from the Baixa/Chiado Metro Station (Blue/Green Line) and taxi spot, 30m from the famous 28 Tram and other Buses, 5 minutes walking distance to the train stations of Cais do Sodré and Rossio, which can take you to Cascais or Sintra. In Camões Square you have a big underground parking. House Rules Children are welcome. We have some toys available. Unfortunately not suited for guests using wheelchair. No smoking allowed. No pets allowed. Common Sense and Politeness are the basic rules. In case of doubts or any kind of emergency, you can always contact us. Even if we are not able to answer immediately, we will call you back as soon as possible. There is only one apartment in the building, still, be careful about the noise. Parties are strictly forbidden. Water and electrical consumption shouldn't be disproportional. For safety reasons, always close the street door when entering or leaving the building. If there is something broken or missing, or that you don't like in any way, please let us know immediately. Check-out is until 12 AM, so we can clean and prepare the apartment for the next guests. Depending on the time of arrival of the next guests, or if we are in our office, it's possible to leave your luggage until a later time. Dishes are to be washed and put back in the cabinets. Leave the sets of keys on the living room table and TV remotes by the TV. If you enjoyed your stay we would love to read your opinion and comments in the Guest Book. Great stay/Perfect Location
We stayed in Sara and Mario’s apartment for four nights. Their business office is located on the first floor, so they both met us and showed us the apartment. This was our first visit to Lisbon and with the apartment being right in city center, we were able to get our bearings immediately! The apartment was clean and had everything we needed to cook and virtually live there for three days. There are bars on the street below, which could be a bit loud. However, the owners had installed some remarkable sound barriers in the bedrooms, which eliminates the bar noise when sleeping. There of Super Mercado’s grocery store and meat market near by if you cook your meals. There are hundreds of restaurants in walking distance. We would highly recommend this apartment and we would rent it again!

Great Apartment in An Excellent Location
Family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights. Has everything you need, excellent location right in the Barrio Alto, good restaurants opposite the flat. Easy to walk everywhere, lovely bakeries & bars nearby. If you’re looking for somewhere in the heart of town near bars and restaurants, this is the place for you. We all loved Lisbon. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Would recommend.

Great location
If your looking for a spot in the heart of the action in Lisbon this is it! I spent 9 nights at this home and loved it. It has all the conveniences of home and is right in the heart of Lisbon. Getting around was so easy here. Very short walk to the subway and steps to the trolleys. If you want restaurants, shops and bars nearby you can’t get ny closer than this duplex. It’s also a 5 min walk down to water and main bus lines. The duplex was comfortable boasting 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. I did find the bed a little hard and pillows could be replaced but that is my only complaint. If your bringing kids down just be aware that a bar is located steps from your front door. It can be a little noisy but otherwise was unaffected. The kitchen had everything I needed to make several meals and grocery stores are very close by. The owners were delightful and have a business below the duplex should you need assistance or suggestions for your stay. I walked to almost everything but found transit to be the ideal way to get around. The train to Sintra is also a short walk away so no car required. Great coffee and pastry spots are also seconds from this unit. Would recommend staying here if you don’t mind all the action close by. Thank you Jon and Sara for the wonderful hospitality.
