Warm and cozy
A warm flat, by Lisbon standards. Nice modern finishings. Great location close to Chiado and metro. A few local restaurants that serve big fat steaks and bean stews. Lively but still authentic. Quickly gentrifying though.

Just what we needed
We are a group of workers in the creativity field (marketing/publicity) and were meeting up in Lisbon for brainstorming on a new project. This was just perfect for what we needed. Booking was smooth and pro, no nonsense. The place is fantastic - I´d actually consider it a luxury place, and everything was new, owners really did a good job with it. Love the center of Lisbon... right around us there were plenty of places to eat out, go for an expresso, have a few drinks, groceries. Next year we´ll come back and get some surf in at the nearby beaches. 5 stars.

Better than it looks in the listing
We were absolutely amazed with this apartment. Its in centre of the old part of town, but its such a lovely place and really well done up... the kind of place it would be a dream to live in. All the techy stuff my husband and kids love - big flatscreen tv, cable, wifi. And the stuff that I loved... beautifully decorated, high ceilings, big windows out onto the square, with the lovely church. We had a brilliant time here. Susana was a great host, and sorted out our questions quickly. Location is brilliant... we´re basically next to the public transport hub of Lisbon, though we walked everywhere. Highly recommended to anyone.

A very classy apartment in the historic Chiado area
My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful week in Lisbon. Our apartment was bright, spacious and the decor was elegant. The lounge, kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities are comprehensively catered for. The apartment is in a super location, nearby the vibrant Chiado/Bairro alto areas and train/metro stations. Best of all was the friendly welcome and the genuine service and valuable information on Lisbon provided by the owners, Sergio & Susana.

Tutto ottimo, consigliatissimo
Appartamento stupendo, completo di tutto (wi-fi compreso), spazioso e pulito.
Posiziona perfetta a 1 minuti dalla fermata del treno, tram e dell'autobus.
Gentilissima la proprietaria che ci consiglia e ci aiuta in ogni bisogno.
lo consiglio a chiunque voglia visitare questa stupenda città.

Great place to stay in Lisbon
Met by Suzanna who was very helpful in suggesting places to visit
The flat was spacious clean and very well equipped
The location was very well served by public transport both within Lisbon and it's environs
Take precautions against Mosquitos
Will definitely come again

top quality apartment with excellent location
We stayed with 8 guys in the Sao Paulo apartment for the weekend. Very stylish place with nice high ceilings, lovely view and very spacious. Location couldn't be better: quiet surroundings but only a walk away from the bars, restaurants, main train/metro hub.
The landlords, Sergio & Suzana, were great - they helped us with restaurants, places to go, surf spots etc. Makes life a lot easier when you are just coming over for the weekend.
Definitely value for money.

Could not be better
Susanna and Sergio could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The apartment is spacious, fully and newly appointed, and the location combined privacy with easy public transportation. Highly and enthusiastically recommended!

Lovely apartment, good location, delightful owners
This bright, airy, spacious and spotless apartment in an up-and-coming Lisbon neighborhood was nearly perfect in every way: well-located near the Cais da Sodre train, bus, metro, tram and taxi station (with connections to everywhere in Lisbon as well as to Estoril and Cascais); near a fresh produce and fish market; well-equipped to prepare meals and wash clothes; very comfortable for two couples or a family; and, owned and operated by two extraordinarily helpful people, Susana and Sergio (who are totally fluent in English, as well as several other languages). Only reservation is an inconvenient step up at the entry door, which bothered us at the beginning but we soon adjusted to. The apartment is on a pretty square that will be even nicer when the other surrounding buildings are renovated.

A gem: luxurious comfort/delightful hosts/great location
My initial contact with Sérgio Santos, the owner was warm and informative. He responded immediately and often to my ongoing questions. We arrived, met by Susana, Sérgio's wife and she was as perfectly fluent in English as he is. She was incredibly charming and helpful from the moment we arrived, walking us to the market 3 minutes away to introduce us to her favorite vendor, where we went each morning to buy fabulous vegetables, sweet cherries and strawberries and the biggest and sweetest figs I've ever tasted. The apartment is large and bright and airy with every amenity you could want. I am in awe that the living room is furnished with white (yes, white!) large comfortable couches. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds and linens perfect. The bathrooms are beautifully equipped with lots of powerful hot water. We took advantage of the washing machine/dryer as well. Any questions we had about regulating the heat or how the appliances worked were immediately answered.
The apartment is located very near the Cais de Sodré train station, where we took the train to Cascais. We also took the tram back from Belèm there, but caught bus 714 to Belèm outside the apartment door! We walked along the riverfront, 5 minutes away, and walked up the Rua alecrim, a block away, to Quinoa, a wonderful organic bakery (#54) and to a Carioca, where alecrim becomes Misericordia (#9) at the Largo do Camoes, for coffee beans. We had dinner our 1st night downstairs at Taberna Tosca where we had Portuguese tapas The apartment is a 10 minute walk to the Praça do Comércio, leading to the Rua augusta shopping area and churches, monuments, etc.There's so much more to say.
The apartment is 99% perfect. My one reservation is the light that comes in from the streetlamp outside the master bedroom despite the two sets of curtains/black-out drapes that Susana and Sérgio installed. Susana is working on changing that. Great wifi access, too, not always the case in Portugal. Just go!
