We stayed in Ana and Pedro’s two bedroom two bathroom Chiado apartment for eight days at the end of September, 2021. We absolutely loved the apartment. But, let me start at the beginning. We had been trying to book a trip to Portugal for almost two years. I had booked this apartment for Spring 2020 before Covid hit in March 2020. We had to cancel and reschedule, which we ended up doing three times due to Covid. Throughout this process, Ana was an excellent communicator and always quick to respond to any questions or concerns I might have. We were finally able to make the trip in September 2021. We were so happy we booked with Ana and Pedro. They are both incredibly warm, caretaking, and helpful people. Ana spent a good amount of time with us when we first arrived to orient us to the apartment and neighborhood. She also arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport which was great. There is also a helpful guidebook in the apartment for information on the sites, restaurants and cafes. The apartment was just as shown in the online photos. The windows are absolutely incredible and let in massive amounts of light. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom, which was wonderful. The kitchen was small, but that wasn’t an issue for us. We didn’t do any cooking while in the apartment.The apartment and the building were very clean and well-maintained. The location can’t be beat. It’s right in the center of old town Lisbon in the Chiado area very close to the Carmo Church. We didn’t believe Google when it kept telling us that everything we wanted to see was about a six to eight minute walk, but it was true. As so many people have said, be prepared for the Lisbon hills. The only negative was the outside noise (never heard anything from the building neighbors). During the day it was fine, but late at night, when we were trying to sleep, some late-night drinkers made their presence known. This would not keep us from renting the apartment again, but it’s something to be aware of. We were very happy in the apartment and didn’t want to leave! I highly recommend a stay in this apartment and working with Ana and Pedro. Just delightful people!

The apartment is truly lovely, great location, comfortable beds, fully equipped and very well decorated. Amazing hospitality. Highly recommend. Very peaceful for being completely central to everything you would want to see on a visit to Lisbon.

We loved our stay at this lovely apartment! From the moment I first inquired about renting this apartment, I was 100% pleased with the entire experience. Ana was an incredible help with everything -- the rental, recommendations, and driver service. She was quick to reply to all questions and was gracious/helpful always. Bruno (her nephew) met us at the apartment upon our arrival and assisted us with check-in, baggage (we very much appreciated his help!), providing everything we needed (and a lovely and delightful welcome gift too!). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, welcoming; three of us were totally comfortable and having two bathrooms is a huge plus! Water pressure/temps were fabulous, bathrooms are beautiful. The beds are comfortable and all linens were superb. The apartment is decorated beautifully and small remnants of the original architecture make it very special (and cozy) - a very well thought-out design. The kitchen is modern and has every amenity one could need (we ate dinners out all the time and never really used it - but appreciated having it available). We loved the entrance hallway too - very nicely designed. The building is located in a very safe area and also has a convenient parking garage for those with a vehicle. You can walk out of the apartment and find fabulous cuisine within moments; we especially enjoyed some of the restaurants right within the two- block area. It is also very easy to walk almost everywhere and Ubers pick you up at the apartment doorstep. There is a grocery store behind the building for additional convenience. Available at check-in and throughout the stay, Pedro and Ana are amazing hosts. We couldn't have chosen a more perfect location or a better apartment. Expertly appointed kitchen and bath, immaculate. We recommend it to all who want a great living experience in Lisbon. We'll be back!

Jose Pedro welcomed us with a complete roundup of attractions, amenities, restaurants etc. in the immediate vicinity. The apartment also has a complete flip-file with everything one wishes to know. The natural-organic grocery story around the corner is fantastic and the best I could find in the area. Restaurants in the area were very good and not too pricey considering that it's probably the best neighborhood Lisbon has to offer. The apartment was clean and had most of the utensils needed to make a basic dinner. The usual necessities such as dish-washing soaps, washing machine and extras in the bathrooms were there until one could replenish your own stocks. Parking wasn't a problem too at Eu20 per day that is cheaper than what the parking space next door could offer (although the car is parked there). All in all a very pleasant experience. I'll go back there very soon.

We were so very pleased with our stay at the Courtesy Chiado 2 bedroom apartment in Lisbon. Ana and Paulo were wonderful hosts and so very helpful on our arrival. The apartment was immaculate and bright and sunny and the location was the best location possible. We were in walking distance to wonderful restaurants, sites and shopping. Just on the corner was a great little park to have an afternoon beer and watch local entertainment and music and visit. I cannot say enough about this wonderful place, and we will definitely rent from Courtesy and Ana and Paulo again when we return to wonderful Lisbon!!! We just came back from our holiday in Portugal. We spent the last 4 days in Lisbon and fortunately we booked it in CHIADO SPACIOUS & LUXURIOUS. The flat situated in the center of the old Quarter – Walking distance from all Lisbon's main sites. Very spacious flat with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom and large Living room and well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed it very much. However the real assets are the owners and managers Ana and Paulo – helpful, warm hospitable and kind. From the moment you booked the apartment till the moment you leave it. Very recommended!

This apartment is a modern refurbishment of an old building in the upmarket shopping and restaurant district of Chiado in the very centre of Lisbon. It is on the first floor, and has been stylishly furnished. There is a spacious sitting room with two large, comfortable sofas and a TV, and a dining table and study desk. There is a well equipped kitchen which includes a dishwasher and washer/drier. There are two bedrooms each with a very comfortable double (actually bigger than double) bed. One bedroom has an en-suite shower room with a large walk-in shower. Both have ample wardrobe space, and wooden shutters which ensure that you are not woken by early morning light. The second bedroom is served by a separate bathroom with a shower over the bath. Although in a lively district of the city, the apartment is situated on a quiet side street, so noise was not an issue. There is a public car park next door (payment required). Our hosts were extremely helpful providing advice before we arrived on the best way to get to the apartment. They have also produced comprehensive manuals in three languages (Portuguese, English and French) dealing with recommendations for restaurants and sight seeing, and instructions on the use of household items. We found these to be very clear and helpful, especially the restaurant recommendations, which were all within a few minutes walk of the apartment and gave opening times, prices and a map for directions. We also greatly appreciated being provided with some basic items such as toiletries (shampoo, shower gel etc), tea and coffee, dishwasher tablets, detergent for washing clothes, olive oil etc. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the main sights, and of Rossio railway station for trains to Sintra (a must) and Cais Do Sodre station for trains to Belem. Although not the cheapest place to stay, this apartment represents good value for money, and we would have no hesitation in recommending it. We would certainly stay here again if we make another visit to Lisbon.

This is an absolutely wonderful apartment, we will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Lisbon. Very central location with lots of restaurants close by and a supermarket next door. Pedro was a fantastic host making sure that you had everything you need and lots of extra information in the apartment about the local area.

We loved this place! Stayed with another couple, plenty of space, great location near Largo de Carmo square. Many great restaurants nearby and easy to walk to attractions. The owners were extremely helpful.
