Andrea not only provided a welcoming apartment but he met us at the station to provide transport. The apartment came equipped with all mod cons and included some breakfast ingredients to get us started. The rooms were airy and there was an outdoor area (with BBQ) as well. Very convenient to the escalators (scala mobile) to get us into central Perugia and local transport. A great list of recommended eateries (with directions and maps to get there). Brilliant.

Wonderful apartment - close to the city and transport links. Andrea couldn't have been more helpful - even picked us up from the airport and helped us with translation! The apartment is perfect if you want to explore Perugia.

Noi abbiamo viaggiato in macchina ed è stato comodissimo perché ho potuto lasciarla al parcheggio che dista 50 m dall'appartamento. L'appartamento era come sempre pulito, accogliente, confortevole e molto silenzioso. Letti comodi, doccia molto spaziosa e cucina dotata di tutto il necessario. I proprietari sono persone squisite e sempre disponibili. Noi ancora una volta ci siamo sentiti come a casa nostra. Grazie e a presto

Grandma Jenny's apartment was in a great location and had everything that we required for a comfortable week's stay in Perugia. We were met from the Sulga bus (direct from Rome airport) by Andrea and had only a very short walk to the apartment. We LOVED Perugia and the surrounding hill towns that we visited. There is so much to see and do that a week was barely enough time to do it all. The escalators and mini metro added to the ease of getting around the city. The apartment was great in that we could pop back for lunch and then go out again to continue our exploring, eating, drinking and attend wonderful evening concerts.

This was our second stay at the apartment and it did not disappoint. Since last year Andrea and Miriana have renewed the kitchen which now includes a dishwasher. We love being so close to the C. Cavour area of Perugia whilst a walk up the San Ercolano steps takes you directly to the Centro Storico. The bus station is just 5 minutes away and the two railway stations are both within easy reach. This is perfect as we no longer rent a car whilst on holiday and the proximity of both public transport and also the scala mobile mean that we can travel easily both within the city and beyond. Andrea is an excellent host and he was able to help us out with transport queries as well as collecting us from and returning us to St. Egidio airport. We plan to return in 2016, for an even longer stay.

We stayed at Grandma Jenny's for a few night recently. Andrea was very helpful before our arrival, recommending transportation and even meeting us at the bus station. He even helped arrange our taxi ride to the train station on the day off our departure The apartment was as pictured with a nice outside area. It was very clean and included everything you might need for a comfortable stay and even some things I wouldn't have thought of. We made good use of the maps, grocery, restaurant and sightseeing information provided and it all combined for a wonderful albeit too short stay in Perugia. I would recommend this rental as an excellent value in a convenient location with kind and efficient hosts

We got to mow our little yard ( not required), BBQ, drink coffee from a " Moka" pot daily and make home-made pasta. The location required a (close by monthly indoor parking pass) and we came and went around the local hill towns easily ! Due to the "ideal" 10 minute walking to the top of the town & great proximity of the location, it could be a bit noisey with traffic at times. Wish we could stay longer. We are a family of four with two kids aged 4 and 8 traveling from Australia. Grandma Jenny apartment was in a great location, a short walk to the escalators that take you to the city at the top. We arrived earlier than expected and unsure where we could park we phoned Andrea. He said to park at the front of the apartment and he would meet us there. The apartment was not quite ready as we were a couple of hours early but Andrea took us in and showed us everything. We brought in our luggage and he gave us his parking permit for a nearby car park and allowed us to use it for our entire stay. We were so grateful for that. We then went for a walk to meet up with our Australian friends in Perugia while Andrea and his wife finished cleaning the apartment from the previous guests. Upon our return the apartment was clean and felt very inviting and homely. They even provided us with some basic food items including cereal, biscuits, croissants, jam, apples and more. The apartment had everything we needed and the court yard was fantastic. We ate our lunch a few times outside with our friends. It was also good to be able to dry our clothes outside. The apartment block was quiet and we hardly saw anyone else there. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the Grandma Jenny apartment and Perugia was our favourite place from our travels in Italy. We would highly recommend Grandma Jenny Apartment and Perugia to anyone traveling to Italy. We loved it! It exceeded our expectations by far. Thank you Andrea!

Grandma Jenny's apartment is within walking distance of the bus station, the narrow gauge railway at Sant'Anna and the historic city centre. You can catch a bus down to the main railway station at Fontevegge and from there pick up the Minimetro which is worth going on just to admire this wonderful feat of engineering. The cabins will transport you from the suburbs right up to Pincetto where you will get a stunning view across towards Assisi and Spoleto and then a fun-ride up three scala mobile that take you right up to P. Matteotti. Don't forget to get out at Cortoneso and cross the road to Caseificio Ferreti for ice-cream. The apartment is comfortable and spotlessly clean with a generously stocked larder including wine, oil, eggs, bread, biscuits, jam, coffee, salt, sugar and a selection of herbs. There is also a great collection of cds. Andrea, the owner, is there to help in any way he can. We cannot wait to return to this beautiful apartment in the glorious city of Perugia.
