Picturesque view of San Gimignano, very accomodating host,excellent location
Lovely spacious apartment in the village with beautiful views of San Gimignano. Our hostess Jianna was very busy harvesting her grapes while we were there and graciously gave us a tour of her winery!

Beautiful location
We spent two nights here at this beautiful house. Jianna was very lovely and made sure that we knew the best spots to explore in the area. The view from the patio is breathtaking, and the bedrooms were comfortable. The complementary bottle of wine and lovely olive oil from the region was a nice touch!

Hidden Gem and Centrally Located In Tuscany Wine Region
We stayed in July 2013 for 3 nights. Located on top of a hill near Ugando,, this lovely villa is part of a working vineyard and farm owned by Jianna and her family. My husband and his parents stayed in the two bedroom apartment with a private kitchen and a private patio overlooking the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Only a short drive from Firenze (florence) Jianna was friendly and helpful in planning our day trips to San Gimignano, the Chianti region, and Montepulciano. Upon our arrival she let us sample a bottle of their house made red and white wine and their olive oil. ALL WERE EXCELLENT! On our last night she and her family gave us a tour of the vineyard and olive orchard. The wine and olive oil is available for purchase and we stocked up before we left. Jianna helped us carefully package our items for safe travel back to the states. We spent many nights out on our patio enjoying a bottle of wine and watching the Tuscan sunset. Overall an excellent stay and we would love to go back someday and relive our trip of a lifetime!

Siamo stati benissimo!
Per le nostre vacanze abbiamo scelto l'appartamento Olivo abbinato alla camera Acacia: è stata la sistemazione perfetta per noi (due coppie di amici) in quanto avevamo la cucina e gli spazi esterni in comune, ma due stanze separate ciascuna con il proprio bagno, comunicanti tra loro da un corridoio. Gli alloggi sono entrambi graziosi, pulitissimi, luminosi. Gli spazi esterni piacevolissimi: abbiamo cenato sempre sotto un grazioso gazebo ed utilizzato più volte il barbecue, circondati da un panorama meraviglioso. Logisticamente la posizione è perfetta, a pochissimi minuti da San Gimignano e da Certaldo, comodo per visitare Siena e dintorni. Inoltre la posizione è in altura, per cui le serate sono fresche e riposanti. L'ospitalità è stata squisita, ci sono state mostrate le meravigliose cantine in cui è prodotta la vernaccia ed un ottimo chianti, con assaggi anche di un profumatissimo e saporitissimo olio di oliva. Lo stra-consiglio!!

for these four people, the area was very interesting, they booked for a short time but they lived the place very intensively cooking outside and travelling around a lot;
They were very interested about everything, very nice gasts, I would like to have them for a longer time.

Very relaxing holiday in a beautiful place!
We stayed for a week at Olive e Acacia Apartment which is part of a farmhouse on a family run farm. Giana made us very welcome and we enjoyed the home produced wine & olive oil. The view from the garden is stunning and we enjoyed some rest time reading and painting under an olive tree.
The apartment is very clean & well maintained fully equipped for a good holiday. There's a Coop close by for essentials. Great holiday venue!

great place
my husband and i stayed for 3 nights at podere magione at july 2012. the location is on the hill with amazing views, peaceful. the apartment is spacious, clean and very comfortable, cool and pleasant in spite of the outside heat. the owner, jianna, was amazing, very nice and helpful with tips about what to see and do. her family was very nice to share with us tomatoes from their garden and wine from their winery. we enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend the place.

We inform you that we open our activity on 17th of March of every year and we close on 31st of October; after this period we re-open, for about one week, from 26th of December to 3rd of January, exactly the Christmas period and the New Year. Furthermore, we inform you that, it 15,00 euro per night.On the above prices we add 40,00 euro for cleaning. The heating from March plus all April and, from 1st of October till end of October plus the week at the end of December, begining of January must be payed separate and it is considered as consumption. Child till 2 years old doesn't pay. Furthermore, there is the tourist tax to pay and the cost is of euro 1,50 per person from 12 years old, per 5 nights only. We have a small farm house so our Gusts like the quite place. We inform you that in the Farm House there is the laundry for free, every room has the mosquito net and the dishwasher.
