This is a well-equiped house at an excellent location at one of the most beautiful regions in the heart of Tuscany. Hotspots like San Gimignano and Volterra are less than half an hour away. Pisa, Lucca, Siena, and Florence are also within reach within an hour and a half. The pool is great for a relaxing day around the house and the direct environment is perfect for cycling. There are thirteen appartments within the property but that’s not bothersome in any way, the garden provides privacy and there are private beds for each appartment at the pool. The house is ideally suited for a large family, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Plenty pots, pans, cutlery, and tableware available. Easy communications with the owner, everything was organized smoothly and the house was well-prepared upon arrival. Some maintanance, however, is required for the garden and the garden path specifically, as that showed to be quite challenging for our youngest traveller due to some loose tiles. Overall we had a lovely time at Podere Torricchi.

Ottima posizione per una vacanza all' insegna del relax, colline toscane, piscina, quiete e silenzio...otiimo!

Die Lage ist OK,aber 2,5km dirtroad zu fahren, der Blick nur so lala, aber man schaut ins Grüne und auf eine Strasse. Der Pool ist gut und groß genug, aber überchlort. Das Appartement ist leider sehr dunkel, sodass man auch tagsüber Licht benötigt, zudem ist das Dach schlecht isoliert und im heißen Juli/August is es nachts viel zu heiß zum Schlafen. Es gibt keine AC oder auch nur Deckenventilator, dafür aber wenige, sehr nachtaktive Mosquitos , die sich an uns gelabt haben...Selbst das Zimmer im EG ist zu heiß.Die Matrazzen im 1 OG sind viel zu weich und eine Zumutung.Im Garten gibt es untaugliche Ikea-Liegestühle,die vielleicht für Kinder taugen.Es gibt keinerlei Infos das Haus oder die Gegend betreffend, die Vermieter, die in Florenz ein kleines Hotel betreiben, scheinen Minimalisten zu sein. Für rund 150€ die Nacht ist das Appartement im internationalen Vergleich zu teuer

Un accès un peu difficile de 2,5 km et loin de tout commerce mais ensuite une fois arrivés, c'est le calme et la campagne toscane dans toute sa splendeur! Le logement est conforme et vraiment agréable, la piscine a une vue merveilleuse et a fait la joie de nos ados après les ballades dans les villes et villages toscans pour lesquels la situation est idéale. Marco et Anastasia sont adorables . Un vrai bonheur !

Superbe endroit pour se reposer ,et aussi visiter( PISE -FLORENCE - SIENNE -VOLTERRA ) l'accès est un peu "caillouteux" ,mais a l'arrivée la location est très bien équipé . paysage de toute beauté. petit conseil : pour aller visités choisissez,plutôt le train ( à la gare de castelflorantino..;environ 20 kms ,vous gagnez du temps et de l'argent.

This place is for relaxing and enjoying the simple life. It has a pool with stunning views. The property is in pristine condition. It is a new construction with the flavor of the old Tuscan style. Very close to Volterra and San Giminiano. You can also do day trips to Siena, Florence, etc.

My husband and I stayed here with our 2 children and mother. Villa fit our needs perfectly - three bedrooms and two bathrooms plus a kitchen area. The villa is clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. I would recommend the owners buy some fans as the nights were warm and there are no screens on the upper floor windows. Our children enjoyed the pool, which includes an incredible view of the countryside. The villa is located about halfway between san gimignano and volterra - easy to visit. We also did day trips to florence, pisa and sienna during our stay. Luckily we rented mobile wifi with our rental car as there is no wifi at the villa and it was needed to research our day trips and map our routes. Overall, a wonderful quiet place to spend a week!

We stayed during August with our teenage son and all agreed we had made the right choice. This property is part of a newly restored 16th century farm which looks and feel very authentic whilst providing an excellent level of comfort. The grounds are extremely well kept as is the pool which provides stunning views of the rolling countryside when swimming. The property is tastefully furnished whilst also benefiting from all mod cons, we found the beds to be comfortable and the overall property to be very clean. The surrounding area is overflowing with "must see" places and picturesque scenery all within easy reach, there are also decent restaurants close by serving good Tuscan food at very reasonable prices. We found the owners to be very helpful (sending messages via text) and we were grateful for the bottle of wine which we were greeted with. After renting properties over the years, mainly in France, I would suggest this has been one of the nicest. I would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate in recommending it to others.
