This beautiful Villa has terrific views over Florence, a refreshing pool with sundeck, lot of space to stay together as a group or get your own moment of privacy. The trip to the center is easy cheap and comfortable by public bus or a short taxi run. The host is always friendly and available to help when needed. We also used the concierge service to enjoy a fabulous walking tour in the center and a terrific tasting experience in the Chianti region.

The Villa is terrific, very well located on the hills of Florence, with astonishing views, cooling pool, lot of space and room to stay together or regain your own space. Lorenzo is offering a very useful concierge service, with help to organise private transfers and great tours, we found this a very value added service. We found the Villa very clean and well equipped.

Villa l’Acacia was just perfect for us, we enjoy the villa’s garden its swimming pool, the wooden deck around the pool and last but not least the great view on Florence. The interiors are very nice and stylish; almost all rooms have their bathroom, which is very convenient when you are a numerous family as we are. Everything was clean and we appreciated the Villa was prepared to make us feel special and more than welcome Something not to miss is the dinners the Lorenzo organize upon request. Wir, -eine Seniorengruppe mit neun Personen- buchten die Villa Acacia für 10 Tage. Wir wurden ausgesprochen herzlich von Lorenzo begrüßt und in das Haus eingeführt. Er stand uns jederzeit - auch schon im Vorfeld der Reise - kompetent mit Rat und Tat und wertvollen, individuellen Tipps zur Seite! Vielen Dank Lorenzo! Das schöne Haus ist großzügig eingerichtet, die Aufteilung der Schlafräume und Bäder prima und der Blick vom Haus und dem Garten auf Florenz und die Domkuppel hinunter einzigartig! Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten so auch den, täglich gepflegten, schönen Pool neben der blühenden Glyzinien-Wand Ende April gut nutzen. Unsere gemeinsamen Mahlzeiten bereiteten wir in der Küche zu. Villa Acacia ist ideal für Erkundungen und Besichtigungen in Florenz und der Umgebung.(Bushaltestelle (Nr. 25) 4 Min hergab, Fahrt bis Piazza San Marco ca. 10-15 Min). The location is strategic, the Villa is situated on one of the hills of Florence where is possible to enjoy the panoramic view of the ancient city while it only takes 25 minutes with public transport to get to the Duomo (city center) April with its mild weather was a good month to enjoy the garden of the villa with its trees, flowers and the pool. We really like the Lorenzo’s option to have dinners organized at the Villa, it was nice to try the local restaurants at the city center but dining at the villa was quite a unique experiences The five rooms are clean and nice with several terraces facing Florence city center and dedicated bathrooms. It was a great accommodation for a big family like ours Last but not least I would like to thanks Lorenzo for the hospitality and to make our vacation an unforgettable memory We will visit again!

Looking for a slice of Italy to call your own, rent this lovely quaint villa just minutes from the heart of Florence. The owners son Lorenzo sends you outstanding directions to Villa Acacia and greets you upon arrival. He walks you through the entire estate explaining the procedures for heating or cooling, tv operations, pool usage, kitchen appliances, washing machine and dryer. Lorenzo will also explain his handbook that has phone numbers from local eateries to emergency numbers for ambulance to police. This villa has room for more then eleven people easily with six bathrooms, full kitchen, formal dining area, living room, family room, and even a day/ garden viewing room. The gardens are breathtaking. This compound is securely gated and safe. We stayed two full weeks and all of us enjoyed it tremendously. This villa needs no car bus 25 is your transportation in and around Florence. If you have any questions Lorenzo handles them immediately. We're all looking forward to returning to our Home away from home Villa Acacia.

I stayed here for a week with a group of 3 friends. The location is great if you want to stay somewhere large, comfortable, out of the center, with stunning views over Florence. The house is beautiful and full of charm but is more suited to large groups as, really, the place is huge with bedrooms and bathrooms all over the place. We had a rental car but generally used buses to get into central Florence and then taxis to return home late night. Lorenzo was a pleasure to deal with, always prompt, courteous, and efficient. I would definitely recommend Villa Acacia.

From the moment we walked through the gate of Villa Acacia, my family and I felt at home. The beauty and spaciousness of the home and grounds contributed to the best vacation we had ever had. Mario kindly took us to buy groceries at a supermarket in Florence; Lorenzo brought by a delicious "welcome dinner," that enabled us to settle in in comfort. The meal prepared by Andrea and his chef/wife was a feast we will long remember. He was also very helpful in arranging transfers for us. The kitchen and outside barbecue made for easy meal preparation. Toward the end of our visit the temperature soared but the villa remained cool, AC available for restful evenings as was the pool. My daughter said that being there was like living in a postcard and thanks to numerous photos, we can relive those beautiful days. As others have mentioned, catching the bus into town was simple and taxis while somewhat disparate in charges were quite reasonable.

We stayed for two weeks and were sad to leave, much like leaving an old friend. This sprawling property is perched high, overlooking beautiful Florence (gorgeous sunsets), with easy access to Fiesole. We rented a car to visit Siena, Lucca, Viareggio, Montecatini and San Gimignano, however with a bus stop just outside, we mostly used a bus (No. 25) to get to and from Florence which is only 15 mins away. Another convenient aspect was the local Alimentari, ATM and fuel station. Most importantly, the grand property and location oozes old world Tuscan charm and warmth, with numerous rooms branching off in various directions providing maximum privacy for larger groups. Finally, Lorenzo, the owner and manager of 'Villa Acacia' could not be more helpful. We'll be back.

The Villa Le Terazze is beautiful! It fit our purposes perfectly. We had 9 family members staying there and held a small wedding ceremony in the yard. The garden and views are fabulous and the space of the villa works well for everyone to spread out. The antiques and well-appointed furnishings made the environment warm and cozy. Lorenzo was helpful and kind. He met us for check-in promptly and was thorough in explaining everything we needed to know about the accomodations. The day before check out, Lorenzo sent an email and was again, prompt and thorough. He was friendly and spoke english well. Thank you, Lorenzo, for sharing this fabulous home with us! We had the pleasure of enjoying a fabulous meal prepared for us and served in the villa diningroom. Alida and her husband, Andrea, created an experience we will not soon forget. The food was outstanding and the service/setting was fabulous. I highly recommend this for anyone seeking a memorable and delightful dining experience. They took care of everything! Thank you to Alida and Andrea for the wonderful meal and experience. The location of the villa is very convenient. It is about 15 minutes from Florence by bus. We utilized this method of getting to and from, and it worked perfectly. It is only a short walk to the Tabacchi to purchase your bus tickets and the pick-up stop is a short walk back to the fork in the road. The last stop in Florence (bus 25) is at Museo di San Marco, very convenient. Returning requires an uphill walk unless you stay on the bus and get off at a stop just above the villa....a longer ride on the bus, but it does make the walk a bit easier if you are not a fan of the uphill venture. Another option is to call a taxi...this too was very easy and not expensive. The taxis typically arrived within 5 to 10 minutes of our call.
