The appartmentt is located close to train station. It's only 10-15 minutes walking distance or 1 tram stop. The appartment is spacious, excelent for 2-3 people. It has a very large bed, and unfolded loveseat for a third person. The bathroom is large as well. Overall, it's very clean. There is a kitchen, but we didn't use it, since we only spent nights there. There is also a little balcony, but again, we didn't use it, since we were out for the whole day and were coming back just for the night.
Marco was really nice to us, and even offered to meet us at the tram station and to escort us to the apartment, but since we walked, we found our way. Marco also suggested us which attractions to visit.
(Note: if you are traveling for the first time, please, be aware that you'll have to pay tourist tax, we paid in both Rome and Florence.
Note: we paid $50 deposit fee, which were returned to us, since we didn't ruin the apartment. LOL).
On the corner of the street, right next door, there is a 24-hour bar, so we were getting coffee and pastries there for breakfast. About 7 minutes walking from the appartment is a supermarket.
If you'd walk back to the train statiion (about 10-15 minutes) and then another 10-15 minutes, you'd reach the very center (Duomo, Mercado market).
It was hard to call a taxi, we tried, and they have hung up on us 3 times. We had to ask for help from people in that bar on the corner, they called ofr us. We were told that these calls are free. But there was no problem taking taxi at any taxi station, it just so happened that there was no taxi station by the appartment.
Marco, thank you again for the opportunity to stay at your appartment!)
