This is a lovely apartment in a fantastic location. It was very clean and well equipped. Silvia was really helpful and gave us lots of recommendations. The street is very sociable and we felt like locals after only three days. It’s only a short walk to the centre. Cannot recommend too highly.

The apartment was the nicest holiday accommodation I have stayed in and was exactly as described by KathrynC77. It is on the edge of the central area, away from the tourist hordes, but a short walk to everything. The host, Silvia, has the qualities of a professional hotelier. An unusual feature is a study area with a desk.

This beautiful apartment is situated in the ideal location for visiting the main sights of Florence - 10 minutes walk to the Duomo, Piazza Signoria, Ufizzi Gallery, etc. The street in which it is located has lots of lovely cafes, bars and very interesting shops. There are several very good restaurants nearby, with the market of Sant'Ambrogia just at the end of the street. The apartment itself is just lovely! It is extremely comfortable and absolutely spotlessly clean, with everything that anyone could need for not just a few nights, but for a long stay. Our hosts, Silvia and her husband, have thought of everything! I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough; I shall tell all my friends about it, and I shall certainly return. PERFECT!

My friend and I had a lovely stay in Florence for over a month. Silvia and her husband were most kind in helping us settle in, and providing information about buses and train connections which we used to go to Pisa, and Venice. The little C2 bus was a great way to get to the train station in about 20 minutes. The apartment had everything we needed, plenty of hot water and is within walking distance to all the sites. The only negative comment we had was how very noisy the street was. Silvia provides ear plugs for a very good reason.....most nights it wasn’t quiet until after 2am and then would start up again by 6am or earlier. So if you are a light sleeper this might not be the best accommodation for you. Also, we had to walk the garbage out to a dumpster about a block away....there is no pickup on the street. Just was a bit weird walking down the street with a bag of garbage .....but you do what you gotta do!

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It was perfectly located, spotlessly clean and it had all the facilities you could wish for. We would thoroughly recommend this place. Thank you.

Well situated in the city center in a pedestrian area, close to all commodities , museums ,mobuments, and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay in Sylvias very nice and very clean flat. Everything is perfect, well furnished and arranged. Warm wellcome. We got a nice chianti offered. I can only recommend this nice place . It is good value. Jean

Silvia's flat was perfect for myself and a girlfriend for a girlie few nights. You really feel part of Florentine life as apartment is tucked in pedestrian street behind a traditional door. Some quiet shops surround it. There is an ice cream shop next door and a pizza place over the road some all highly convenient. We went twice to an Italian restaurant a few mins walk around the corner which had a fantastic atmosphere and very good value for money. Also decent house wine by the carafe. Silvia has provided everything you could want in the apartment - especially as we were only travelling with hand luggage. Hairdryer, iron, toiletries even kitchen roll were all provided. She was very helpful indeed. I could not fault her or the apartment. So convenient to have crockery and a big fridge as we asked what Florentines had for breakfast. The answer was 'cake' or at least something sweet. Not our English thing at all so we got in supplies for breakfast in the apartment. Cereal, yoghurt, fruit from handy local sources. Coffee provided in apartment was great. Would love to go back and would highly recommend. Thankyou for a lovely break. PS. The weather in early Nov was brilliant and we did some sightseeing in the twilight around 5 pm which was really atmospheric.
