A good sized, well equipped apartment with a large terrace, Serena is set about a ten minute walk from a good supermarket and about the same to the beach. A further five minutes on and you come to the main beachfront in Alghero with its many bars and restaurants.This apartment is in a quiet area which suited us.The roads in Sardinia are not as busy as in mainland Italy so driving and cycling would be a real option if you wanted to explore. A nice touch was the welcome pack of fresh fruit, milk, water, wine and cakes, just the thing after an early morning flight from the UK.

Great location for resting and cycling , close to the sea front only a few minutes walk from the apartment. Lots of great little coffee shops and ice cream parlours on route to the old town that’s a twenty minute walk away. Plenty of great little restaurants in the side streets and on the sea front serving great fresh local produce. The apartment is clean and modern with facilities to cook and eat in if you fancy an evening putting your feet up or lounging on the balcony.

Apartment Serena was an ideal base for our holiday in Alghero. It was comfortable, well-equipped and situated in a quiet residential area. It was a pleasant 30 minute walk along the seafront to the beautiful old town. There is a large well stocked supermarket nearby and the weekly Wednesday market is well worth a visit. The owners, Jacquie and Marco, were very helpful both before and during our stay, always responding promptly to texts and emails. The local beaches were lovely, particularly 'Maria Pia' which was more peaceful and had the added bonus of the Waterpark to keep the little ones entertained! All in all a great holiday - we want to go back!

Lovely little apartment in a perfect location, very close to the beach but within a half hour walk of the old town too. Great balcony and the air con was a must for the hot weather. A supermarket nearby and wonderful coffee and croissant from Cafe La Perla (where we collected the keys - and the owner speaks perfect English which made things very helpful).

Great second stay at this wonderful apartment in Alghero for three keen road cyclists who love the fabulous rolling roads and mountains in this stunning part of Sardinia. The beach is a 5 minute walk and only fifteen minutes to Alghero old town. Local restaurants and bars are welcoming and not too far away from the apartment in all directions. We look forward to our third visit next year!

Good location 5 mins walk to the local beach and 20/25 mins walk along the front to Alghero town. The apartment was spacious, well maintained and very clean. The welcome basket with wine, water, fruit and pastries was a lovely touch and much appreciated. The Owners Marco and Jacquie could not have been more helpful before and during our stay, answering all our questions and even providing a bus timetable too. Nothing was too much trouble, even when I accidently locked ourselves out of the apartment! Would recommend taking the bus from the airport which was very easy and a fraction of the cost of a taxi. We hired bikes and cycled to Le Bombarde and Lazzaretto beaches - there are cycle paths most of the way. Also took the local bus from Alghero town to Stintino and Bosa, each about an hour away, so you dont need to hire a car.

The location of the apartment was perfect and only a five minute walk to the beach. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony to sit out on late evening capturing the last of the day's sun . Alghero old town was a twenty minute walk along the seafront with stunning views of the bay and cost line. There are several small coffee shops ,bars and beach cafe's on route to the old town that are welcoming for coffee, ice creams or a cold bear glass of wine. The local restaurants are all of excellent quality serving a host of local seafood and great paster dishes. I took my bike with me as I'm a keen racer and found some very impressive rides along the coast and in land for some stunning mountain climbs. The local people are very friendly and I found a few people that spoke English to mix with my pigeon Italian . Can't wait to return next year to discover more of this part of Sardinia .

Our second visit to this lovely apartment. Very convenient for beach and walk to Alghero. The apartment is very well equipped with a nice big balcony which gets the sun during the day. Owners very helpful and friendly and available for any queries. Highly recommended.
