Dear Allison, I'm obviousely not surprised about your review! You always spoke with me of Faville Tours on the phone and I always replied to you, also by email. At the moment of the check-in, our assistant who met you called us because you didn't want to pay the cleaning fee. You accused us to be dishonest but, as Only Apartments (the website where you booked through VRBO) confirmed you, it was not our fault if you didn't read carefully our announcement and you were not aware about the fees to be paid upon the arrival. The Arsenale Canal View 1 you booked is one of the most appreciated apartments we have in Venice. It has a wonderful view on the canal and on the San Pietro di Castello Church, the ancient cathedral of Venice! The Castello district is far from the train station but we never promised that the location of this apartment was close to Santa Lucia train station! Our guests always appreciate the quarter just because it is one of the most genuine and bustling areas of the city. During the stay, we offer to our guests a maintenace staff available from 8.30am until 8.00pm and you never notified us anything about dirty towels or bedsheets. You only wrote to us and to Only Apartments after your check-out explaining that the view was not correct and there was't any washing machine in the flat: we replied that the view is that one shown on the photos (you never provided other pictures) and the washing machine is in a laundry on the ground floor of the building. I'm sorry but I think you wrote this bad review not for analyzing the apartment but just to spite us because you had to pay a fee you didn't expect to pay!
