Traditional apartment, comfortable, charming, clean, quiet and...two bathrooms. The apartment has everything. Even a little pot of jam in the fridge, every comfort has been catered for. I would recommend it very highly. We stayed for a week.

Non amo gli alberghi. Spesso sono impersonali e mi fanno sentire un po' in prigione, confinata in una stanza. I bed & breakfast, invece, rischiano di non garantire la privacy. Insomma, raramente una struttura ricettiva mi fa sentire a casa. Downtown Apartment ci è riuscito! Questo appartamento comodo e confortevole, in una posizione ideale nel cuore di Pavia, si è rivelato la scelta migliore che potessi compiere per trascorrere tre giorni in famiglia, nel calore di una vera casa. Torneremo presto!

ho soggiornato in questo magnifico appartamento per una settimana e devo dire che il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo. Posizione fantastica in una delle zone piú suggestive del centro storico di Pavia, appartamento pulitissimo e arredamento molto accurato. Lo consiglio a chiunque debba trascorrere un periodo di permanenza a Pavia sia per lavoro che per motivi di studio. Proprietaria gentilissima ed estremamente disponibile. Consigliatissimo!

Abbiamo soggiornato 5 giorni in questo splendido appartamento in zona centralissima a Pavia. L’appartamento possiede tutti i comfort, compreso il wi-fi all’avanguardia. L’arredamento è molto curato, con rifiniture di pregio. Ottimi sono i collegamenti con Milano, la struttura è comodissima anche per l’Università e per visitare Pavia. Da non dimenticare l’infinita gentilezza della proprietaria: la signora Marilena.

The location is great, the appartement is spacious and welcoming. I felt at home. The area where it is located is quiet, well served t and strategic, we felt safe and secure. this appartement was a good choice

Ho trascorso una settimana in questo delizioso appartamento. Devo dire che ho trovato un ambiente pulito, ben arredato, spazioso e accogliente. Mi sono sentita a casa! La zona in cui si trova è tranquilla, ben servita e strategica, sia per visitare Pavia e l'Oltrepò, sia per raggiungere Milano e l'Expo. Lo consiglio vivamente!

It was a pleasure to discover this spacious apartment perfectly located amongst the Romanesque and medieval Citta di Pavia. Pavia is perfectly located for me, only 35 km from Milan, and is on the train line from Milan to Genoa, a hidden gem and a great opportunity to go off script and discover another enchanting part of Italy. (Going off script, is my most preferred way to travel) Pavia, is easily a city you can base yourself in, as the local bus and rail services are just minutes walk from the apartment, taking you to the nearby Certosa di Pavia as well as cities and towns in Lombardy and Linate Airport and the train station less then 2 km. The apartment is clean, charming and with a warmth that feels like home. Fast and reliable WIFI coverage to upload my work while travelling, It has a quaint and peaceful balcony to enjoy coffee before venturing out into what was once known as the city of 100 towers. The location of Appartamento Ghislieri is very convenient, close to many piazzas lined with shops, cafes and restaurants including a particular favorite local cuisine, the 'Risotto alla certosina ‘. ;) Pavia has gorgeous Mediaeval and Romanesque architecture to wet the appetite of any avid photographer… and a breath taking must see “ The Ponte Coperto “ September is huge festival month in Pavia. The Festa del Ticino and The Settembre Pavese , I'm excited to return to this apartment and city again, to discover it in festival month. Fingers crossed next year. He vuelto hace una semana de hacer un tour por Italia y la verdad es que al principio me alojaba en hoteles pero tras un par de malas experiencias opte por un alojamiento particular y la experiencia fue mucho mejor. El Sr Franco el propietario nos recibió con mucha amabilidad y nos dió todo tipo de consejos y recomendaciones para nuestra estancia. El apartamento es enorme y céntrico con vistas a la Piazza Ghishleri en el centro histórico. El wifi funciona muy bien para ser italia. Totalmente recomendable para vivir una experiencia auténtica y agradable.

L'appartamento e' ottimo, vcinissimo all'Universita', ben servito dai mezzi e il parcheggio a pagamento permette di disporre di un'auto a portata di mano. Il posto e' tranquillo, l'appartamento ampio e ben arredato.

If you travel abroad with your wife, for an unusual work experience in a new place, what you wouldn't expect is to find such cosy place in a breathtaking location, straight in the historic medieval centre of charming Pavia.
