Dieses wunderschöne Ferienhaus liegt über dem Zentrum von Baveno, es ist ruhig gelegen separat auf dem Grundstück der Eigentümer und verfügt über eine traumhafte Sicht auf den See... Der tägliche Sonnenaufgang am See und die Ruhe sind Balsam für die Seele... Wir bewohnten zu fünft (vier Erwachsene und ein Kind) das Haus, was über zwei große Schlafzimmer verfügt, aus denen man Zutritt zu den Balkonen hat und wovon man die traumhafte Aussicht genießen kann... Es gibt eine große Küche, die voll ausgestattet ist und ein geräumiges Wohnzimmer... Die beiden Badezimmer lassen keine Wünsche offen, eines davon hat eine Waschmaschine... Im großzügigem sehr gepflegtem Garten lässt es sich sehr gut verweilen, unser Sohn nutzte ihn oft zum Spielen (Schaukeln, Fußball, usw...) und wir einfach nur zum Entspannen auf der Liege mit Blick auf den See... Auch einen gemauerten Grill gibt es im Garten... Insgesamt ist das Ferienhaus sehr gepflegt und top ausgestattet, traumhaft gelegen und der ideale Ort zum Entspannen oder aber auch Ausgangspunkt für spannende interessante Erkundungen... Man kann zu Fuß in 10 Minuten inmitten der Berge sein oder aber auch den Strand zu Fuß gut erreichen... Ebenso ist das Zentrum schnell zu erreichen, es bietet zahlreiche kleine Geschäfte, viele Restaurants, einen Bahnhof und eine Schiffanlegestelle, wovon man viele Ausflüge unternehmen kann... Die Hauseigentümer waren sehr freundlich und jederzeit verfügbar (wir haben sie gleich ins Herz geschlossen), gaben uns wertvolle Tipps zum Leben am Lago Maggiore, zur Gastronomie sowie zu lohnenswerten Ausflügen, ohne sie hätten wir wahrscheinlich einiges verpasst... Grazie mille!!! Wir haben hier einen unserer schönsten Urlaube verbracht und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen...

My sister & I have just returned from a stunning week on Lake Maggiore, where we spent sunny days visiting the beautiful Borromean Islands of Bella, Dei Pescatori & Madre, as well as breathtaking Lake Orta. We stayed at the self-contained ‘Cottage By The Lake’ in Baveno: a lovely position but somewhat sparsely furnished &, with the benefit of hindsight, expensive. Baveno itself is very quiet & perfectly positioned for the island ferries as well as trains for a day trip to Switzerland. We could not recommend a week in a lovelier part of the world!

The cottage is a self-contained outbuilding in the owner's grounds, with private garden and BBQ. Clean and well maintained with equipment in good order. Lovely views over Lake Maggiore from the garden and bedrooms. Baveno is a good centre for exploring the villages surrounding the lake and the lovely islands on it and has some fine restaurants.

The cottage on the lake was lovely. Well accommodated, spacious, great outdoor area. But perhaps best of all were the hosts. Angie and her husband were so welcoming. They even drove us Into town to catch our ferry. Even before we arrived Angie had contacted us and made dinner reservations for us. Lovely people!

If you're looking for an authentic lakeside retreat in Italy then this is as good as it gets. Without the dazzle-dazzle of the more well known Italian lake resorts, Baveno is just magical. You couldn't want more from the accommodation either and 'Cottage' is a bonkers understatement. It's a beautiful villa with everything you could possibly want and a view to die for. Awesome hosts - they know everything and everybody so tap them up for tips if you visit! We were here for a short break in March 2018 and had the most beautiful snow!

Vacanza da sogno sotto tutti gli aspetti, pulizia, tranquillità, servizi, piena disponibilità dei proprietari e poi.. una vista lago da togliere il fiato! La location è semplicemente incantevole, lunghe passeggiate in riva al lago ed escursioni nei boschi è quello che ci vuole per ricaricare di energia il corpo e lo spirito. Fortemente consigliato a chi ama il relax, da parte mia ripeterò al più presto. Grazie di tutto.

Stay here for a week the house had all the facilities needed and the homeowners were very friendly and accommodating. The views of lake maggiore are breathtaking I would highly recommend it

Villa spacieuse et très bien située dans le petit village de Baveno. Les plages du lac Majeur sont facilement accessibles. Les enfants ont adoré les baignades au lac, le chien du propriétaire (Bobby) les attentions de nos hôtes (panier garni de produits italiens pour nous accueillir). Accès libre au potager bio de la propriété. Nos hôtes furent très dévoués à nous fournir le confort maximal tout en restant discrets si nécessaire. Le jardin est vaste et parfaitement entretenu. Les chambres font au moins 20 à 25 m2 chacune. Excellent rapport qualité/prix.
