Great little accomodation in Cinque Terre! Comfy bed, fan and windows which was much needed in summer, location near plenty of restaurants and only a short walk to the beach! Stairs were a bit painful with large suitcases, staircase in apartment too narrow to bring luggage upstairs

Perfect stay in Monterosso
This house is lovely, and the location could not be more perfect! The stairs were not a problem at all, in fact were a plus, up there is so calm and pretty, and you are so close to everything! Immaculate, and complete in every aspect, the level of detail is amazing and so much appreciated; Christian has put an incredible amount of thought in his house, a pleasure of a host! The views from upstairs are divine...The neighbours (humans and cats) are great... Absolutely perfect, hope to be back again soon!

Cute & quirky little house in the best town in cinque terre
Lovely, quirky little house with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Well equipped & if you compare the floor space to a hotel room, it's probably pretty spacious. That said - it's sooo small. Only enough room for 2
Accommodation
2 floors. 1 is a bedroom which has a safe, wardrobe, chair, fan, hairdryer, breakfast bar, washing line, great views. & Everything you need for a comfortable nights sleep. No air con so we were glad of the fan provided.
The ground floor has a kitchen with plenty of equipment (we ate out, so only used the corkscrew & coffee machine), a tiny bathroom & great coffee was kindly provided thank you.
The spiral staircase is tricky but we had a laugh trying to master that after a few wines
Terrace
We enjoyed breakfast & an evening glass of wine on the front terrace. It's lovely to enjoy the sounds of the birds & the hum of activity right in the heart of a local Italian residential area away from the tourist hub.
Location
There are some steps from the town but it's a really convenient location as it's minutes from dozens of restaurants & shops. You don't need to be really fit as the 100 steps don't seem all that far
Town
For me Monterosso is the best of the 5 towns as there is more to do & see with plenty of restaurants, bars & shops. There's a lovely wine tasting vinyard just 5 minutes up the Main Street (buranco). It also has the best beach in cinque terre as the others are rocky. The 2 hour walk to vernazza is fabulous. Or get the boat to the other towns.
Beware of the ginger cat next door. He doesn't like visitors in his alley!

Small but perfect!!!
Stayed for 3 nights in July. Property is in the old town (by far the nicest part of Monterosso) and once you've found it (!) it's so peaceful but still easy to get to town. Lots of steps up to the house but you only need to get your case up there once. The owner has thought of everything, and the property was spotless and very well equipped. When he says it's small - it's small - but that was what we loved. The spiral staircase would make it unsuitable for the less mobile. We sat out on the little bench for breakfast and a bottle of wine in the evening. Would definitely recommend - it's really unique - absolutely loved it.

Piccola, ma confortevolissima!
Una casa molto piccola nel cuore di Monterosso. Non adatta a chi cerca grandi spazi ( o ha qualche problema di deambulazione ) è però perfetta per una coppia, grazie al fatto di essere veramente ben accessoriata. Pulitissima!

Unique
To escape the tourists, meet the locals, and gain a sense of the origins of Monterosso, this is the place. The clever economy of space reminded us of being on a yacht; it once housed a fisherman for sure. We loved this place.
