Absoulty the most beautiful authentic Itailian home to stay at with an amazing price!
Highly recommend that you book your stay and enjoy this georgeous Itailain Villa when planning your vacation to Rome! This became our home for one week and truly we cannot emphasize the beauty and peacfulness we endured while staying here! The courtyard is in itself provides the complete serenity of your own privacy with its potted clay flowers, vines that wrap over the pergola and crawl up the walls and peak over the iron designed windows. The carefully laid brick paveres that pattern the floor are to marvel at along with the winding iron staircase that leads to your own private terrace atop which includes a brick fire pit! Your living quaters are complete and will comfortably accomodate 4 people including full kitchen, 2 bedrooms/2 baths, a small but quaint living room and dining area. Provided is a luxury jazzuci tub in the master bath which added a relaxing touch and the end of the day! There is a mini mart less then one block away that will provide you with enough essentials that you may need during your stay. Also, "528 Italian restaurant" is less then a block which has mouthwatering food! The Subway is a short walk and easy to utilize to get in and around Rome at 7 Euros each for 24hours. You will get on at Cornelia and we personally went up to Barverini - Fontana di Trevi to avoid the crowds around the Vatican where we utilized the Red Bus "hop on hop off" Tour. Tickets can be purchased at this stop but suggest getting the on line ahead of time. Visiting the Colosseum you do not need to join a tour. Suggest going in the afternoon when it is less crowed and you can easily guide yourself around for 12 Euros each. Their is NO 45 min wait if you do not join a tour. However, at the Vatican we highly recommend joining a tour as you will skip the wait line and see everything within 2-3 hours including St. Peters Basilica. Cost is a little over 50 Euros each but well worth it! Again, coming back to the Villa was the most relaxing part of our day! Massimo has left no detail out. You have all essentials for the kitchen and bath. Other renters like ourselves left behind, oils and spices so you don't need to buy them. Possible small packets of laundry suds as we were able to wash our clothes for the week before continuing our journey within Italy. There is no dryer but plenty of hangars and an iron board to air dry your clothes or lay them outside. One last touch, there is a stereo with beautiful relaxing music. You can leave your villa door open and sit outside while enjoying the music with a candle lit dinner! This Villa is well worth the cost verses a hotel and Massimo will personally meet and assist you upon arrival to address any questions and concerns prior to your stay. In addition, he left us his cell number in case we needed anything! We highly recommend this his villa to anyone that is planning a trip to Rome! Not related to the villa but during our trip I kept getting bit by tiny black flies at night so I recommend bringing some bug repellent and anti itch spray. There is a pharmacy less then a block but I think our products in the US are more effective. We hope you enjoy this home as much as we did!

la dolce vita
Plutôt décentré, mais du coup très calme, ce logement moderne, spacieux avec 2 terrasses, une jardin-terrasse au rez-de-chaussée, l'autre en toit-terrasse, est un havre de repos après de longues heures à déambuler dans Rome. Nous avions une cuisinette, un grand séjour et 2 chambres avec salle de bain complète pour chacune, ce qui est particulièrement confortable pour 2 couples. Si vous êtes prêts à vous rendre sur les sites touristiques de Rome en métro ou en voiture, et si vous appréciez le retour au calme après une journée passée en ville, alors cette location est parfaite.

Needs improvement in cleaning, not a very convenient location.
The place is okay, not very clean. Rooms are nice size and bathrooms are nice too. Place is run more like a hotel without hotel service. Location is totally not close to major attractions and for sure not a walking distance. Although the owner was very nice and helpful, it didn't change the fact of the location. We will not be coming back to this apartment. So sorry, Massiomo.

I am very sorry if you didn't enjoy your stay at the best, we always try to everything is possible for our guests.
Regarding the cleaning, I apologies for this, may be the housekeeper missed something, she is human, I'll will advise her to take more care. Anyway If you had warned me immediately I would have called the housekeeper to clean, why didn't you?
I appreciate that you have realized we manage this home vacation like an hotel, and loved room size and bathrooms.
Unfortunately I know we are not at the Spanish steps, or at Colosseum area and I cannot do anything for this, I cannot change the location.
Our value is to offer a professional service, a private courtyard, a sun deck, large size room, in a very safe, relaxing place, quiet area, away from the traffic noise, that in Rome center can ruin your sleep and your vacation.
You will not find a place like this in the old town center.
But at 15 minutes walking you reach the metro station and you can get everywhere.

Semaine Romaine avec tous les avantages
Un appart nickel, au calme, à la limite du centre ville de Rome
le métro à 10 minutes à pied vous emmène en moins de 20 minutes dans le centre historique.
L'accueil de Massimo est au top et ne manque pas d'attentions.
Bref, une adresse à retenir.
Idéale pour 4 personnes.

Lovely apartment, close to Roma centre.
We stayed at this lovely apartment, run by Katia and Massimo, from 23-28 August.
It is a lovely bright apartment, with modern fittings and within close proximity to the centre of Roma.
We were fortunate to have the outside space to ourselves, as the other apartment that would've shared that area, was vacant.
The Metro was convenient to use, being a 10-15 minute walk away. We used to go to the Spagna area and ate there most nights of our stay. The trattoria at the end of the road where the apartment is situated, was recommended to us, but we found it to be disappointing.
We would certainly stay here again and would recommend to family and friends.

La casa ideale per sostare a roma soprattutto se avete l'auto.
Siamo tornati in questa casa vacanze dopo esserci stati qualche anno fa dopo la loro apertura. Avevamo bisogno di interrompere il nostro viaggio verso Ischia, metà del nostro viaggio e questo appartamento offre un parcheggio recintato. L'abbiamo trovato migliorato, il giardino arricchito di piante e fiori, sul tetto è stato realizzato un gazebo, gradevole nelle ore serali ed un prato sintetico con barbecue e lettino prendisole. La cortesia della proprietaria è eccellente, si presenta come una professionista del settore. Credo che ci fermeremo qui anche al ritorno verso Genova.

No welcome pack however photos imply that one is provided. Absolutely no cleaning materials to enable occupiers to keep it clean and hygienic. Not even T-towels to dry dishes, had to ask for bath towel as insufficient left out for 4 people that they knew were arriving.
Two single beds need updating as very noisy at slightest movement. Not all equipment listed was present, had washing machine but no means to hang up cloths, toaster missing.

Hello Ian, we are very sorry if your stay at our property did not satisfy you completely, we always try to provide the best service, and all the previous Tripadvisors reviews confirm it. Anyway, the welcome pack is provided usually, we were unable to prepare it for you because of your arrival at midnight, we are very sorry. The cleaning material was available outside in the common area. When you have asked for extra towels we informed the housekeeper. She brought them the following day at 8 o'clock this is why she has left them outside: for not waking you up. She is not allowed to knock on the guest door. Only the toaster was missing, as broken, has been replaced with a new one. The clothesline is on the terrace. No guests complained before about the beds, anyway we will double check and if necessary they will be repaired, thanks for the tip. We are always available to the guests request, they have our phone number and email address, if we are informed of any problems we do our best to fix it as soon as possible. We are sure of our professionalism in managing apartments, that's why we offer a 10% discount on your or your friends next stay at our property. Best regards. Katia

We stayed in Cesare apartments for one week in April 2014. This is not historical center of Rome but location is good - quiet place in 10-15 minutes by walking from Cornelia metro station. Apartments were very comfortable and clean. Two bathrooms, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, Internet connection etc. - everything were workable. Apartments have separate entrance and you also can use outdoor space. The owner (Katia) is very friendly and anytime ready to help.

Terrific 2 bedroom, 2 bath, kitchen and living area apartment 15 minutes walk from Rome's metro in a residential area of the city. The place was spotless, very clean, roomy and very comfortable. Full kitchen, wifi and washer included. Nice linens and amenities. Two safety boxes in room. One bedroom had a double bed, the other two twins - perfect for a family stay. Lovely courtyard just outside the door. Very private. Includes a few breakfast items to start the stay.
Turn off to road is hard to find, keep a sharp eye, property sits on a very quiet lane. Market nearby, walk to metro is on a busy street, but easy to navigate.
