Abbiamo alloggiato qui per un weekend, atmosfera incantevole è dir poco. Appartamento curato nei minimi dettagli. Proprietari gentilissimi, tutto perfetto. A presto, un luogo magico!

Ho avuto il piacere di pernottare in questa struttura dal 3 al 7 agosto 2021. Eravamo 2 adulti e 2 pargoli di 13 anni. Che dire, soluzione migliore non poteva capitarci. L'appartamento è molto grande ed offre tutte le comodità possibili. La posizione centralissima e vicina alla fermata della metro e dei bus è un valore aggiunto. Adiacente c'è una gelateria favolosa e per la spesa mi sono rivolto al market Pam dove sfornano delle pizzette al taglio illegali 😋. Non ho potuto ringraziare le padrone di casa personalmente, lo faccio ora. Un grazie anche a Massimo per la disponibilità. Ho cercato di lasciare l'appartamento più in ordine e pulito che potevo e lo consiglio a chi legge. Veramente un gioiellino. Allego foto. Saluti.

Excepcional, un apartamento antiguo pero muy reformado y actualizado. Limpieza, aspecto general, muchísimos detalles en cocina y baños, champú, gel, agua, café, colacao, etc.... Lo recomendamos 100%. Se encuentra a medio camino entre la Plaza de San Pedro y la entrada a los museos vaticanos. A pié de calle encuentras muchísimos restaurantes y zona comercial.

We traveled with friends this vacation and found Catherine's home exceptional. It provided us the room and privacy each couple sought. We could not have found a better location. Directly across the street from the Vatican wall, we were able to walk to the vatican museum entry one direction and St. Peters Square the other in less than 7 minutes. A major bus hub was less than a block away. One of the largest fresh food markets in Rome was 5 blocks(I stocked our refrigerator the first morning and the experience was amazing). The greatest negative to the apartment was that the entry was literally two steps from the best gelato vendor we found in our two weeks of travel in Italy(nearly impossible not to stop and sample).

Catherine's apartment is located on the 5th (top) floor which affords an outstanding view of the anciently walled Vatican City. And especially of the iconic dome of St. Peter's Basilica. We were a family of 4 with 5 bags and being on the 5th floor presented no problems as there is a lift. It gets better: The apartment is a series of spacious room, all well appointed. The master bedroom, amazingly large, is the beautifully decorated centerpiece. The kitchen has everything one needs to prepare meals -- but there is no need with the abundance of great restaurants nearby. Not to be missed: a top notch gellateria is right next to the entrance of this building! Patrizia, the apartment owner, was quick and communicative with emails (in clear English) from my 1st inquiry until the day we left. She provides city maps and tourist info in several languages on the table in the entry. We highly recommend Catherine's Home as both a beautiful and comfortable stay in Rome. And if you do -- take a night stroll across the street to the Vatican for an unforgettable memory.

My dad and I stayed in Catherine’s apartment for a week in December, and the apartment made our first trip to Rome perfect! The apartment is located right next to the Vatican. (My dad developed a strange obsession with St. Peter's Square, so it was great that we passed it every day on our way back from exploring the city.) Technically you can reach everything important (like the Colosseum, the Pantheon and every other famous sight in Rome) by foot. So mostly we just walked. Sometimes we also took the metro, which is located about 10 minutes away from the apartment. Right next to the house there is a great Creperia <3 where we got crepes and panini quite often. There is also a Gelateria where you can get a lot (!) of very tasty gelato for a very good price. The apartment itself was very clean, comfortable and had everything you could ever need. Since there were only two of us, we could each take one of the rooms and one of the bathrooms. If you’re a light sleeper, I recommend taking the smaller room because the bigger one faces a busy street and it can get quite noisy. (But it also faces the Vatican, which is a plus.) The kitchen was well equipped. I cooked every day and never wanted for anything. It already had things like olive oil, salt, pepper, different tees, sugar, coffee etc. The bathrooms were also clean and comfortable. There were towels, a hair dryer, shampoo,... Catherine also provided nice little extras like a guide book (really useful!), umbrellas and a yoga mat. We were welcomed by a bottle of red wine. :) Since I work from home I used the Wi-Fi every morning to work and didn’t have a single problem. When we had questions on how to operate the boiler, Catherine responded quickly and we felt like we could always ask her any questions that might arise. We would definitely love to come again! For this price, you won't find a better hotel or apartment in Rome! Book now! I've stayed in many hotels and B&Bs in Rome, and I am often left feeling disappointed by the quality, cleanliness, or treatment by staff. My experience in this apartment was completely different, standing out for several reasons. First of all, the owner of the apartment is extremely friendly and accommodating, making guests feel comfortable from the moment they arrive. This is a huge departure from the infamous Roman inhospitality. Secondly, the apartment's location is PERFECT for anyone planning on visiting the Vatican and the historic center of Rome! From the window in the main room you can literally see over the walls of Vatican City, sometimes catching a glimpse of the action inside. Within 5 minutes walk is the metro stop "Ottaviano", several bars and restaurants, and the important shopping street "Via Cola di Rienzo". With the metro you can reach the main train station "Termini" in approximately 15 minutes, or arrive to Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna, the Trevi Fountain, etc. in less than 10 minutes. Last but not least, the apartment itself is spacious and beautifully decorated. Unlike many other touristic apartments in the city, the apartment has true Italian character. In addition to a large main bedroom and sitting room, there is a small studio with a sofa, two large (and modern!) bathrooms, a large eat-in kitchen, and another sitting room. This is no average holiday rental- this feels like a true home! I spent 4 days here, but I could easily imagine myself staying there for a longer period and living like a true Roman. For those who prefer the services of a hotel, such as a front-desk or doorman, please note that this building has a "portiere" who is always available to help and answer questions. Of course, the owners are also accessible for anything you may need! I would recommend this to anyone, but I think the apartment is especially well suited for larger groups and families. I for one am already planning on staying here on my next trip to Rome!

Appartamento super lussuoso, dotato di ogni confort, situato in una zona nevralgica di Roma, il personale è molto disponibile. Unico neo è stato il POS Fuori servizio e l'aver dovuto usare i contanti per pagare.

We spent three days in Rome in this marvellous apartment: Catherine's Home has got all the positive qualities and characteristics that each tourist Is looking for: a very clean and bright apartment with large spaces; the two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and the kitchen, are furnished with a very good taste, giving a romantic touch to the apartment. And if you look at the window in the evening you can enjoy a very enchanting view! The Vatican museums are very close to the building, as well as the metro station. In a few meters you have bars, pharmacy and different shops. Many thanks to Mrs. Patrizia who has been so nice with us, we are looking forward to go back to Rome and to Catherine's Home!
