We stayed at Iaocopo's condo for 3 nights in July 2019 prior to our Mediterranean cruise. As soon as we booked the Airbnb, Iacopo was very responsive to all of our questions and gave us a lot of information, including things to do in his neighborhood and directions to get to his condo from the airport by both train and taxi. Upon arrival, Iacopo greeted us at his condo and spent 2 hours showing us everything about his condo and walking us around the neighborhood to explain where to eat, take the trains, get groceries etc. He even helped us plan each day of our trip in Rome and made recommendations according to our interests! Since the condo was not booked the night before, Iaocopo was very kind to accommodate our flight arrival time and allow us to check in a few hours earlier. Additionally, he has a detailed list of restaurant recommendations for us to try authentic Roman Italian food without falling into the tourist traps! The restaurant La Tavernaccia Iaocopo recommended near his condo was delicious with reasonable prices. Throughout the duration of our stay, we were able to reach him any time we needed help, such as looking up train routes while we were out and getting assistance with things around the condo. It was just like having a friend and a local tour guide in Rome, which made our first trip to Italy much easier and memorable! As for the condo, it's very cute, cozy, and modernly designed as shown in the pictures. The second level and high ceiling add character to the condo and make it a unique home. Everything in the condo is sparkling clean and the bed is ultra comfortable with cloud-like pillows. Iacopo has thoughtfully laid out every corner of the condo for his guests with so much attention to detail, such as providing different types of coffee and tea, extra toiletries, laundry supplies, travel guides, maps of Rome and the TV is even set up with Netflix! Every time we opened a new drawer, we were amazed with all the things Iaocopo has prepared, making the condo very comfortable and a home away from home for his guests. The neighborhood is very safe with the police station just around the corner. The building is on a very small street with minimal traffic and the unit is facing the courtyard, which makes it super quiet at night. Despite the quiet neighborhood, there are lots of restaurants within walking distance and it's very easy to get to central Rome and all the touristy places. For example, the train station is a 5 minute walk away from the condo, and it was about a 15 minute train ride (direct train) to the Colosseum. Staying at Iacopo's place was one of the highlights of our trip and we cannot say enough good things about him and his condo. We would absolutely recommend his Airbnb to everyone visiting Rome. Thank you Iaocopo for an unforgettable trip! :)
