Ho trascorso con la mia famiglia 6 giorni stupendi in questa bellissima tenuta durante le feste di Capodanno. La casa era molto accogliente, pulitissima, organizzata e anche calda (era il mese di gennaio). Paola ci ha dato un caloroso benvenuto e ci ha aiutato molto con i suoi preziosi consigli. La macchina si poteva parcheggiare vicino la casa, molto comodo. La posizione era davvero ottima, a soli 6 km dalla vivace Salerno, dove abbiamo potuto ammirare le Luci d'artista e fare le passeggiate per il lungomare. Abbiamo visitato anche tutta la costa amalfitana, Sorrento, Napoli e la Reggia di Caserta. Inoltre è vicino anche a Pompei e Cilento....Abbiamo riscoperto un territorio magnifico con una grande ospitalità. Grazie Paola, di sicuro ci torneremo!

Beautiful apartment in a peaceful location
The apartment is located outside of Salerno so a car is advisable. The setting is stunning, partway down a mountain, surrounded by woodland...quiet and slightly cooler than the city. Plenty of parking. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, though only one was open when we were there (September) - serves basic but good food at very reasonable prices, is closed on Wednesday though! There is also a bar and shop but we did not use either.
We stayed in apartment 2 which we were more than happy with...it was spacious, light and airy...had a good size terrace and 2 balconies. The apartment was spotless, kitchen has 4 ring hob and microwave with grill, 2 fridges, kettle and coffee maker. Plenty of pots and pans etc. 1 double and 1 twin bed...I think there is also a sofa bed in the living room. 2 bathroom, washing machine, plenty of storage / hanging space and good supply of coat hangers.
There is aircon in the living area, though we didn't need to use it (September) both bedrooms have fans, which we used at night for a short time.
The roof terrace is a lovely place to sit and have a beer in the evening!
Paola met us on arrival, she was extremely helpful, showing us round and provided information on the apartment and surrounding area.
This is a beautiful quite location, great as a base for exploring this part of Italy.

It's very quiet
It's partway down a mountain
It's a 5 min drive to Salerno
A car is a necessity (there are buses but we didn't use them)
If you want a lovely apartment, peace and quiet, a base to explore from, this apartment is ideal.
Highly recommend!

Eccezionale
Abbiamo soggiornato per due settimane, ospitalità eccellente, siamo stati accolti con grande entusiasmo e cordialità.
L'appartamento è super confortevole, due camere, due bagni, cucina attrezzata (compreso di pasta, sughi, zucchero, caffè, olio). Ci siamo trovati benissimo e la tranquillità è stata la ciliegina sulla torta.
ci torneremo sicuramente per una prossima vacanza.
Grazie mille alla Sign.ra Paola che è venuta a salutarci l'ultimo giorno, ci ha fatto molto piacere

Italy vacation.
It was amazing! Paula and her sister were very friendly and informative. We loved the appartment and the area. Very clean, washer and dryer included. Easy bus ride to the city center and the transportation to the rest of the Amalfi coast. We would definitely stay again. The best part of our Italy vacation for sure!

Ho soggiornato per 3 giorni in uno degli appartamenti dei Normanni Home e devo dire che il giudizio è più che positivo. Location nuova, pulizia impeccabile e posizione strategica (5 min dal centro di Salerno in auto quindi ottimo compromesso per raggiungere con facilità tutte le zone da vedere), totale disponibilità dei gestori.
Ci vediamo presto.

Hervorragend
Sehr schön und ruhig gelegene Feriebwohnung, die gut mit dem Auto erreichbar ist. Die Ausstattung ist gut und das WLan funktionierte einwandfrei.Die Schlüsselübergabe funktionierte problemlos. Die Betreuung war gut. Es fand sich zur Begrüssung ein Korb mit regionalen Nudeln, Nudelsosse und Salzgebäck auf dem Tisch. Äußerst hilfreich war die von Paola vorbereitete Strassenkarte mit eingezeichneten Supermärjten, Fähranlegern. Ihre Ausflugstipps waren sehr gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Schöne, sehr saubere, toll gelegene Wohnung, haustierfreundlich, nur 6 km oberhalb von Salerno
Ein toller Ausgangspunkt zu den schönsten Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung (Vesuv, Pompeji, Paestum,), perfekt angebunden an die Autobahn, die man in knapp 10 Minuten erreicht.
Paola war eine freundliche, sehr hilfsbereite Vermieterin, die bei der Ankunft gleich wichtige Tipps und Ratschläge gibt.

Great Rental
This was a very good rental, large, clean condo, 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, good kitchen facilities, washing facilities, private parking spot, etc. Away from the noise of the city, but close enough for ease of access.
Paola and her family were excellent hosts. No request was too much for them. We enjoyed our stay with them immensely. We highly recommend this rental.

Excellent séjour
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette résidence isolée mais tant mieux car c'est ce que nous cherchions. Une très belle terrasse où nous avons déjeuné et diné (barbecue à volonté). Mise à disposition de la machine à laver gratuitement avec la lessive alors cela vaut bien le coup de faire quelques mètres pour monter sur le toit !
L'accueil de Paola était parfait. L'appartement était très soigné et nous avions à disposition une chaise haute, une poussette ( à demander ) et un siège auto. Nous avons essayé deux types de plages ( lido payants et plages publiques) ; les deux étaient bien mais les plages publiques sont un peu sales et il vaut mieux prévoir un parasol.
Le lido où nous sommes allés proposait parasol, chaise longue , douches et bar. Très agréable mais il vaut mieux prévoir la journée car cela nous a coûté 18 € pour 4 pour la journée ( plus les extras du bar et le parking 1.5 € la journée). Le lido s'appelle Quadrifoglio village ( http://www.quadrifogliovillage.it) et est situé à quelques Km de Salerne. Voila pour notre première expérience à Salerne.

Lots of good stuff with a few problems.
On a private road in the hills overlooking Salerno, with a proprietor who speaks good English, this small building contains several apartments. The one in which we stayed was spacious (two bedrooms, two baths and a large living-dining room with the kitchen along one wall), well kept and clean.
Oddly, for a space designed to host at least 4 guests, there was only a half-size refrigerator. Fortunately, when we expressed our dismay, we were immediately given a second one of similar size, providing enough space for our needs.
There were problems with the wifi and even when it worked, it was very slow. The one washing machine was on the roof, requiring a long walk. We had expected that the machine would be in the apartment.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the price was very reasonable.
