The apartment was very comfortable and the neighborhood is fantastic. The bathroom is modern, the shower feels good - good hot water and good water pressure. One thing is that it’s deep when getting back out. I would consider bolting a grip bar to the wall for people who might need to hold onto something as they exit. That’s just a minor suggestion. The climate control is a bit quirky but it worked well enough. Sometimes the upstairs units seem to blow out cold air for a while even though it’s on heat but it does ultimately heat the place up. The kitchen is a nice size for the apartment and it’s incredibly well stocked with dishes, glasses and utensils. The windows let in lots of light. Mostly, we felt comfortable, safe, like we were in PARIS and not a hotel in Paris and I slept like a baby each night.

We arrived from New York into Orly by 10am and we were met at the apartment earlier than the “check-in” time. We were left a great bottle of wine and some bottled water - a nice touch. Very easy and quick to jump in a cab from the airport - €35 fixed price and it took just over 20 mins. The apartment is a 4 storey walk up (no elevator) - a little struggle with luggage as the staircase is literally a person wide. I am extremely claustrophobic and found this staircase very challenging for the entirely of my trip. It didn’t bother my family at all - just putting it out there Incase others are like me :) The apartment is well equipped - good little kitchen, with everything you could need. No dishwasher, but you really shouldn’t need one - with all the great restaurants around!! There’s a tv (French) and free WiFi which worked well. The master bed was very comfortable as were the pillows and bedding. The smaller bedroom was small, with just a bed and side table/lamp - but was just fine. The bathroom was modern with good water pressure and hot water. We visited in Feb and it was very cold in Paris, but the apartment heating worked well and kept us warm. The one very small negative was the street market - it set up twice during our stay and was very loud very early in the morning and woke us. Also you can hear a lot of street noise. We used to live in NYC so it wasn’t a big deal, but if you’re light sleepers, maybe ear plugs would be useful. The apartment is in a great location at Les Halles - the aforementioned street market was fantastic with amazing quality produce. There are many restaurants within walking distance of the front door, a small but useful grocery store literally next door for essentials and may bakeries within a few mins walk for breakfast essentials. The apartment is within 10 mins walk to the Seine/Notre Dame and a little further to the Louvre. Approx 10 mins to the Pompidou Centre. We went to Le Vaudeville Brasserie (recommended in the apartment booklet), and we had a fantastic meal - highly recommended. We also took an Uber to A La Biche Au Bois (15mins away) and has a fantastic French dining experience at very reasonable prices. In summary - we would highly recommended this apartment, especially due to the location and proximity to everything. Communication with the owner/manager was easy and they were very quick to respond at all times.

We have visited Paris several times but it our first in an apartment. The experience was great being a family of 6 with 2 kids the option was much more inexpensive!! We rented in a very quiet area and felt very secure. Loved the apartment which was very tastefully decorated and had all the convenices we needed to make our stay comfortable. We will use this option again the future.

We only had 3 days here but it was good for our party of 4. Near everything. There are stairs but not a problem - the chauffeur James put us in touch with helped us up. We enjoyed ourselves and were comfortable.

3 adults stayed here the last few days of April 2015. We landed at CDG and took the RER Blue line to the Chatelet Les Halles Station. This is fairly straight forward. The property manager gave us very good directions on how to use the RER and how to locate the apartment from the Chatelet Les Halles Station. An associate met us at the apartment and let us in to get the keys. She spoke English. Be forewarned, the apartment is on the third floor and the stairs are very narrow and steep and arranged in a spiral staircase shape. Parts of the staircase do not have a handrail to hold. They were very tough to manage with luggage. This would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. There is no elevator in the building. Once inside, we found a very spacious and extremely clean apartment with plenty of natural light. The pictures on the web site are quite accurate. The kitchen was well equipped. The fridge is quite small. The sitting area with dining table is bright and cosy. 4 people could easily sit on the 2 couches to relax. To access the bedroom and bathroom upstairs, you must go up another set of spiral stairs, that again are very narrow and difficult. One section of the stair case is open to an area where 2 extra fold out chairs are stored. It would be quite easy to misstep and fall there. I would not think this is a good spot for young children or people with difficulty getting around. The bedroom at the back was set for us with 2 single beds. This is the entire room. The bedding was excellent and the beds were very comfortable. This room has a door that you can close for privacy. The other bed is in an open loft area above the sitting room downstairs. Again the bedding was very nice and the the bed itself was very comfortable. The bathroom is in-between the 2 spaces. The bathroom has been very nicely renovated and was extremely clean. One concern might be getting into the tub/shower as it is very deep and you enter near to the sink due to the glass partition wall on the tub. This is very attractive but a bit tight. It may be difficult for some people to get in and out of the shower. The pullout couch in the sitting room seems a good size, although we did not use it. If you did have more than 4 people staying(2 sleeping each in the 2 spots upstairs), any guests from the pullout couch would have to go up those stairs and through the loft area to access the bathroom. In the night, we found there is no light over the stairs directly. In order to go on the stairs in the dark it is necessary to turn on the sitting room light or the bedroom light. This might be an inconvenience if people were using the pullout. Overall, the manager was excellent to deal with and provided a lot of information prior to our arrival. The location is perfect to visit the Louvre. There are ample restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. This apartment is also close to some nice shops. The RER and metro lines are a quick walk from the apartment. I would recommend this as a great place to stay in the area. The area was very safe, lots of tourists and locals. The apartment was very clean and check in was easy. I know many older apartments will have stairs to access the units and no elevators. However, we did find these stairs a bit more than we liked so we probably would not stay again for that reason. The WIFI was excellent.

This place was amazing to stay, I went with 5 friends and the size of the apartment was adequate not to big, not to small! Everything was easy to use in the apartment and we had a very nice welcome. The apartment is in the heart of Paris and was very close to a the metro, which was also very easy to navigate.The Host was very nice and very easily contactable and helped in every way he could. I would definitely use this apartment again :-)

la casa è pulita e confortevole, i letti abbastanza buoni e una attrezzatura in cucina più che sufficiente, si trova al terzo, quarto, piano con una scala un po' stretta .La posizione è ottima. Buona accoglienza, il problema è sempre lo stesso: al mattino alle 10,00 bisogna lasciare la casa e portare i bagagli chissà dove........ non c'è la scopa , lo scopone e uno straccio per pavimenti

The location can not be beat. We found most of the city sites to be close enough to walk with two children (aged 9 and 6). Major metro stops are also very close. One street over is Rue Montorgueil which is a pedestrian road filled with small bread, cheese, fruit, seafood shops, and restaurants. Several grocery stores were conveniently close as well. On Sundays the street in front of the apartment is turned into a farmer's market. We stayed in the apartment shortly after the most recent renovations (3/2014). The new bathroom is fantastic and includes a tub/shower combo (standup showers still seem rare in France and we were pleased to find one here), a towel warmer, and the other standard amenities. Checkin was very easy. We were greeted by an English-speaking representative and walked through the details of the apartment. The second bedroom is fairly small, but we were able to have both of our kids in there - one on a twin bed, one in a pull out trundle. There is also a pull out sofa downstairs which could easily have suited the second child, or another couple. One note is that it is a very open layout so privacy is a bit restricted. The large bed is on a loft overlooking the living space so couples in the main bedroom and pullout couch will be fairly close together without doors. The one bathroom is just past the main bedroom so guests sleeping on the pullout will be walking through the main bedroom to use the bathroom. The small bedroom does have a door. The apartment management was very easy to work with and communicative throughout the process. All the agreements were clear, as were the steps in the process from initial deposit through final checkout. They also included a handy guide to all of the appliances in the apartment, and a some helpful tips for the area (locations of groceries, restaurants, etc.).

Our stay at the Louvre apartment was most enjoyable. The appartement is charming and comfortable. We stayed as a family of 4 and enjoyed ourselves. The location is also perfect, in the midst of the les Halles / Louvre / Montorgeuil neighborhood which is very central, lively and provides many options for restaurant, shopping and sightseeing.
