We’ve just returned from Aviemore and our second stay at perfect Carn Mhor Lodge. Our first visit was after our wedding 3 years ago complete with family in tow but this time was a family reunion so where better than this beautiful spacious lodge which has everything 8 adults and 3 kids under 10 and 2 dogs could possibly want or need. The location is ideal for privacy yet close to the town centre and all that Aviemore has to offer. The lodge itself is laid out to perfection with everyone having plenty of room to either congregate or chill out on their own. We had a minor injury crisis whilst there with our 2yr old grandson and Sarah ( the owner) couldn’t have been more helpful so thanks again to Sarah. This holiday lodge is top of our list for cleanliness, layout, location and a warmth that you just feel as soon as you walk in the front door. Hope it’s not another three years until our return. A beautiful house in a quiet location but within walking distance of Aviemore. We had a brilliant stay and couldn’t fault the house at all, it was very clean, warm, spacious and had everything we needed. I have already recommended the house to family and would highly recommend you book it! The house feels bigger than it looks in the photos and there was plenty of space for our party of 6 adults and 5 children age 4 and under.

We cannot Thank Sarah enough for our wonderful long wkend in her beautiful house. It was the ideal place to join with family and friends to celebrate a special occasion. Sarah was very accommodating as this was the third attempt due to Covid restrictions and it was well worth the wait. Beautiful 5 bedroom, holiday let, in a lovely neighbourhood with private driveway. Our friends and son were so excited when we pulled up to the house for a few days away. We spent so much time cooking, playing board games, warming up in front of the fireplace when returning from days out in the mountains of Aviemore and the Cairngorms, including a loch swim! Carn Mhor Lodge was the perfect home from home, we really didn't want to leave.

Just returned from a lovely stay at Carn Mhor Lodge. The house is comfy, cosy with a great layout, well equipped with plenty of space for large families or groups to enjoy. Set in a quiet secluded location with a lovely walk into town.

I hired this wonderful house for a family get together. It was absolutely perfect. The Location is fabulous, right beside the mountain bike trails and forestry where we enjoyed lovely walks and bike rides. You can walk easily into the town centre along the Aviemore Orbital path which takes no more than 15 mins. The house itself was maintained to a very high standard, it was comfy, cosy and had plenty of space. The upstairs lounge tv had netflix etc which was great for the kids. The kitchen/diner was extremely well equipped with everything we would of needed. The bathrooms all had great showers, with plenty hot water. The house has a great garage which was ideal for storing bikes etc. The owners were very helpful answering any questions we may of had. I would most definately book again.

We used the house as a base for 3 days as some of our party completed The Speyside Way. It was modern, very spacious, comfortable and really well equipped and in a great location. It was beautifully clean and the kitchen/diner layout suited our party to a tee - large enough for socialising whilst the cooks did their bit. The well equipped utility room was a real bonus for an outdoorsy crowd, and we were lucky enough with the weather to make full use of the super outdoor space. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

We have just come back from a wonderful stay at Carn Mhor Lodge in Aviemore and can say that it’s been one of the best weeks holiday we have ever had. The accommodation was perfect with all the room and all the facilities for a large family of 6 adults, 4 Children, and 4 dogs. As well as the beautiful house the big bonus was the ability to walk into Aviemore along forest paths. We loved Aviemore which had a young and energetic vibe. So many activities to chose from in the surrounding area, and what a beautiful surrounding area. Quite simply what’s not to like?

Aviemore is an idyllic village in the Scottish Highlands, Carn Mhor Lodge is a treasure in High Burnside, the surrounding countryside is just so beautiful it is hard to describe. The Lodge is in great condition and has ample room for a big family. The Highland Forest is right behind the garden of Carn Mhor Lodge, we cant wait to return to this amazing place. The hosts were fabulous they were so helpful and friendly throughout our whole stay in Aviemore .
