Stayed here to visit Edinburgh Christmas Market. This is a lovely 2 bedroom apartment & the owners have took time to add all the homely touches. There was eggs from 'her girls', bread, milk, biscuits & a bottle of wine (they used to leave whisky but couldnt anymore because of covid).
There is a lift to the apartment, however there is a steep cobblestoned little road to the Royal Mile but its not far.
The lady who owns the apartment greeted us on arrival & let us leave our bags until it was time for our train. I would recommend staying here if you dont have trouble with steep inclines but it was a bit much for me & my husband as we're both in our 60's.

Great central appartment
Everything you need in this comfortable apartment.
Eve left us eggs, olive oil, cereal, waffles, milk, butter, bottle of Prosecco,fruit and chocolate snacks!
Comfortable beds and sofa bed.
Walk from the apartment to enjoy the city.
A great choice for your stay in Edinburgh.

Girly get together
I’ve stayed at Eves other apartment & knew this apartment wouldn’t disappoint. Wow !! Beautiful apartment, lots of little touches that made our stay even better, goodies left in the fridge, wine ect. The apartment is immaculate and all covid measure in place
We loved it so much, all booked for next year. Thank Eve, you are a wonderful host xx

Great comfy apartment with extra special touches.
We arrived in the middle of a very stormy day and Eve had the apartment lovely and cosy for us. I had booked for 2 friends and myself as we all like our own space and we definitely had that. There were lots of extra touches as mentioned in previous reviews and the homemade soap made by Eve herself was gorgeous and even made the apartment smell lovely every time you walked inside. Bad weather had lots of phone lines down the following day and Eve even drove some distance from where she lived to get a signal and check that we were ok in the apartment which of course, we were. The apartment itself is a 5-6 minute walk from the rail station and less than that to the castle. I slept on the sofa bed which is just as comfy as my own bed at home. There are loads of great shops and restaurants all around the apartment and I would recommend a visit to The Dome for afternoon tea for a treat.

Fabulous apartment
This apartment is situated just off the Royal Mile and is a perfect base for a break in Edinburgh. Eve was there to meet us on our arrival and was very friendly and informative. The flat is so well equipped and all the essentials like milk, bread, tea, coffee,eggs and much more are supplied. There is also a lift in the building which was perfect as we had my elderly mother staying with us. The flat was very comfortable and we would definitely book again.

Fantastic apartment in a superb location
The apartment is in a fantastic location just off the Royal Mile. We were met by Eve, the owner, who talked us through the apartment and provided the most amazing welcome pack and the apartment had everything you could need. We would definitely stay again if we return to Edinburgh.

Edinburgh trip 07/21
From our first day welcome by the host until leaving we had a fantastic stay at Eve's Old Fishmarket Close in Edinburgh. A lovely apartment, with great facilities and flexibility for our family holiday. Ideally situated near the Royal Mile and castle and easy walking distance from several other Edinburgh attractions.
Highly recommended.

kinderfreundliche Wohnung mitten im Herzen von Edinburgh
Eine perfekte Wohnung mitten in der Altstadt.Die Royal Mile ist nur ein paar Schritte entfernt und zum Grassmarket ist es auch nicht weit. Alles ist bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen und die Wohnung selber ist mit allem ausgestattet. Besonders schön fand ich, das Eve Lebensmittel bereit stellt, sodass man erst einen Tee oder Kaffee mit Shortbread genießen kann. Außerdem ist die selbstgemachte Seife hervorragend auf der Haut und hat einen sehr schönen Duft. Und für ein Kleinkind hat sie auch alles bereit gestellt, Hochstuhl, Kinderbett und kleinen Ankunftssnack.

Lovely place to stay in Edinburgh
Would like to thank our host Eve for a fantastic stay in her immaculate apartment. We had a lovely family weekend and can’t thank her enough for everything. It was like home from home there was even a PlayStation and DVD’s to keep the children entertained.
She went that extra mile with home made soaps and jam.
Would highly recommend and look forward to our next visit.

Another brilliant Edinburgh trip courtesy of our host, Eve. We have now stayed twice in each of her apartments and highly recommend both.
Very comfortable, immaculately clean and very well equipped with enough homely touches and basic provisions to give a very warm welcome. We look forward to our return.
