Came to Edinburgh for my nephews wadding wanted somewhere comfortable to relax, had a fantastic stay, apartment had everything you could wish for, including a washing machine , microwave, lovely and clean, few minutes walk from Grassmarket area, Princes Street, supermarket around the corner, great communication with the owner, and a bottle of Prosecco on arrival, will definitely recommend and hoping for a return visit very soon.

This is a small, lovely apartment in the heart of Grassmarket, right underneath the Castle/Royal Mile and within easy walking distance to pretty much everything -- the Royal Mile, Victoria Street, University of Edinburgh, Arthur's seat, and on and on. You also can easily walk down the hill to Prince's Street and New Town, the Waverly train station, Carlton Hill, etc. The apartment was very clean, well appointed, and quiet. There are stairs, but that's the case for pretty much every apartment in Edinburgh if you want to stay in the Old Town. The owner was there to meet us and orient us to the apartment, and the entire experience from booking to departure was smooth and seamless. We would absolutely return and recommend it for two people, or perhaps a couple with one small child.

Lovely, well equipped cosy apartment in a former tenement block. Everything worked and the very large bed was exceptionally comfortable. Conveniently positioned in the Old Town for both the Grassmarket and Lothian Road. Ideal self-catering accommodation for two. Recommended.

Very easy to find, close to both Waverley and Haymarket train stations. The flat is a few hundred yards from the Grassmarket and close to Edinburgh Castle and all other sites. There are bus stops close by and a Sainsbury supermarket at the end of the road - and yet the location is remarkably quiet. The flat itself is nicely furnished and decorated, with a much better bed than we expected! The kitchen is small but had all the facilities. Arrival and departure were very easy and, although we didn't meet, Moira made us feel very welcome. Recommended.

This exceptionally comfortable and caringly decorated dwelling is very well situated within a three minute walk from the Grassmarket and really does make for a fantastic base from which to explore Edinburgh and beyond. Moira and Brian were fantastic hosts and very welcoming presences with all of the comforts and equipment carefully considered. The place feels very safe and secure and Moira and Brian have provided a space that is very very clean and Covid secure whilst certainly feeling very homely. Over and above this they kicked the stay off with a very nice bottle of wine, tea, biscuits and milk. This comfortable and cool flat with very many nice touches really cannot be recommended highly enough!

We arrived last night and Moira’s apartment is the most quaint, quirky, perfect little apartment for a break in Edinburgh. Everything is spotlessly clean (bedding and towels smelt lovely which makes a fantastic change from some of the musty bedding we’ve experienced in other apartments), and there was milk and biscuits left and stock of items to make hot drinks. There is a folder full of information and advice on the local area which has proved very useful. Our 15yr old daughter fell in love with the apartment and wants to live here! :0) There is a strip place across the street but there were no issues or noise coming from the place, was very discreet and well behaved and in a city it’s to be expected that you can be next to this sort of place so no issues there. Would 100% recommend the apartment.

Well located delightful apartment within walking distance to many hot spots. Clean, very comfortable, good wifi, and lots of attention to detail. The owner does a great job checking in with the travelers - so very much appreciated. I would highly recommend this cozy apartment where you feel like you are home. Thank you Moira.

Sehr angenehmer Kontakt zu Moira! Vielen Dank dafür auch hier noch einmal!! Es fehlt an nichts in dieser kleinen aber feinen Wohnung, die den Beinamen "Boutique" im besten Sinne verkörpert. Sauber, freundlich, alles funktioniert, alles ist aufgefüllt und es herrscht eine sehr persönlich geprägte und sympathische Atmosphäre. Alle Wege in die Innenstadt sind kurz und für die längeren hält der Bus um die Ecke. Ein nächster Besuch in der Stadt wird sich nur nach der Verfügbarkeit dieses Apartements richten.

Excellent location, close to the castle and royal mile. Easy walking distance to Princes Street and train stations. Local amenities include Sainsbury, cafes and take aways. Facilities in the apartment are good, everything you would need for a holiday. Moira had supplied milk, biscuits and fruit. Fresh flowers were on table. Communication with Moira was fantastic, kept us up to date with any information we required. Would definitely use again and recommend to family/friends.

Clean apartment close to the Old Town. Probably more suited for two people although we managed with 4 adults for 3 nights. First impression wasn't positive as the front door entrance is covered in graffiti however the apartment inside is cosy with lots of lamps to create a warm ambience in the evening. Happy with our stay here.
