Prima locatie om de stad te gaan verkennen en heerlijk plekje om 's avonds weer lekker 'thuis'' te komen. Bussen naar de luchthaven en naar de stad zijn op wandelafstand. Zeer gastvrije en behulpzame eigenaren!

Il nostro soggiorno di tre giorni in questa casa è stato perfetto in ogni dettaglio. Pulizia, organizzazione e disponibilità di Fiona al top. Si raggiunge comodamente dall'aeroporto con Airlink100 ma valutate anche il taxi perché costa £15 con uno sconto di £5 sulla corsa del ritorno. Per il centro fermata bus a pochi metri dalla casa. Consigliatissimo!!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en Écosse, même si il faut l'avouer, on ne voit pas grand chose en une semaine. l'Écosse est trop belle et trop riche d'histoire pour la visiter en si peu de temps. Nous avons été parfaitement bien reçus par Fiona et son mari, qui sont à la fois chaleureux et discrets. Dommage qu'il y ai la barrière de la langue, car comme tout bon français, nous parlons peu, voir pas du tout anglais pour certains membres de la famille. Je recommande chaudement cette maison de villégiature, car elle est chaleureuse, bien équipée et jouit d'un emplacement idéal pour toutes les visites, quels que soient les moyens de transport. Elle est à proximité de tout et pourtant elle est dans un quartier fort calme. 😍

We were only able to stay 2 nights to start off our U.K. travels, but it was a great start indeed. Completely private with the added bonus of parking. The location was very convenient to bus service into town. The accommodation itself was spotless and had everything we needed. We didn't use the kitchen for cooking, but it was equipped with all the essentials. Will recommend to my friends for sure.

The apartment was more convenient than in photographs on website! Bedroom had an excellent bed and bedding. Kitchen was very well equipped, there was for example scandinavian type coffee maker for filter coffee. Very quiet environment, good maps provided and friendly landlady. There was 5 minutes walk to nearest bus stops and 10 minutes to Edinburgh Zoo. Travelling time to the airport was only 15-20 minutes by bus and 15-30 minutes to city centre (Princes Street), depending on traffic.

I had to cancel my booking at very short notice when a snowstorm hit Scotland and I could not get to Edinburgh. Not only did Fiona tell me not to worry about the booking, she spent half an hour on the phone with TripAdvisor convincing them to process a full refund. What a star she is, and TripAdvisor did as she asked and processed a full refund. I hope to stay at Fiona’s on a future trip to Edinburgh.

We were visiting friends, it was very well located to do so, but only 3 miles into central Edinburgh, which we walked on two occasions, partly via a delightful parkway which Fiona told us about. Close to easy public transport (warning, the bus drivers don't carry change, make sure you have coins, currently £4 per day each). The house was bright, well equipped, and Fiona very helpful and friendly, without intruding. We felt very secure as the house is in the garden behind a locked gate.

We stayed at this lovely house for second time and were very pleased to stay here. Our little kids felt very comfortable and enjoyed conversation with Fiona. This place is very convenient for travel to city as well as airport and being on ground floor, convenient for kids and elders alike. regards, Aniruddha

Das Ferienhaus liegt ideal, nur 10 Minuten bis zum Flughafen und auch nur 10 Minuten mit dem Bus in die Innenstadt. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht für 4 Personen. Die Vermieter sprechen Deutsch und sind sehr freundlich. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, ein tolles Preis / Leistungsverhältnis.
