Beautiful home away from home
What a beautiful property! As soon as you enter Harambee there is a warm cozy atmosphere usually lacking in holiday rentals. Harambee suited our family’s needs, it was clean, comfortable and cozy with a heated outside pool which was such a pleasant surprise. (Johnny even went out of his way to buy floats for my non swimming kids!)
Traditionally decorated but also very stylish, a beautiful home to entertain and host family and friends. Our Host Jonny was very hospitable and accommodating and he truly went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and comfortable.he even let my 2 year old feed his sheep who live on an adjacent field! I can not speak any higher of Johnny and his home and I would highly recommend staying here for any family get togethers and special occasions. Thank you Johnny!!

Harambee House is beautiful
9 of us stayed at Harambee House. The house Was clean and spacouse. There was milk in the fridge on our arrival which was nice. The grounds of the house are beautiful. Plenty of space for outside games. Johnny the owner popped over a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. He owns some sheep in the fields behind the house which we could feed. We all loved feeding the sheep. . The pool was Warm. It truly is a beautiful place to stay.

Fabulous Find
My family (from 4 generations) has just enjoyed a fabulous fortnight at Harambee.
The house is extremely spacious yet "homely", with lovely and well-proportioned rooms and, as previous reviewers have said, superbly appointed bathrooms.
The gorgeous heated pool was much appreciated and well used. The garden and grounds are very peaceful and relaxing and on many days we did not venture out. The large terrace and outside dining table made for several pleasant BBQ evenings.
We were all very sorry to leave and hope to return before too long to this wonderful place.
Thanks so much to Johnny who could not have been a more welcoming host and to George for his help and advice.

Fantastic house, lovely landlord, wonderful week!
My family needed somewhere special at short notice to spend a week making memories, Harambee, and Johnny certainly gave us that opportunity and more! There were three generations of us and the house catered for us all, from the study for the two uni students to keep up with their work, through to the drawing room where the elder members could sit in front of the log fire, and the family room where the teenagers (and some adults) entertained themselves on the Wii. We even swam in the pool in October! We also very much enjoyed eating in the grand dining room in the evenings, and using the luxurious bathrooms. But our stay wasn't just made by the house and facilities, Johnny (and George, the groundsman), went out of their way to make our week special and memorable. They helped make what could have been a sad week, into a time we will remember with happy thoughts, always.

Fantastic large house, plenty of garden space, great warm pool, fields to play in, highly recommend.
This large family house is hidden away down a laneway, not far from Grayshott & Haslemere. You are greeted by electric gates and a view of the tudor style house. Set within its own large grounds (3-5 acres I think), the house has beautiful groomed lawns and mature trees as the garden. Beyond that there are 2 large fields that are tree-lined. There are no other houses in sight. The view of the gardens & property from the kitchen window and patio is stunning. We were there in August and had great weather, so it looked green and perfect, plus we had use of the very warm pool every day. The house itself has 2 sitting rooms, which is great if you have children with you (there were 6 in our group), an office with wifi, large kitchen and dining room. There are 5 bedrooms, 2 are ensuite. Plus a main family bathroom and downstairs loo. The bathrooms are absolutely stunning. The master suite has a walk through wardrobe and a bathroom/wetroom that is out of a magazine. The bath overlooks the garden and the shower is a walk in room the size of most people's bathrooms.
The owner lives across the drive in his own cottage, so is nearby for help. The groundsman George is very friendly and helpful and about if anything is needed. There is a large plasma TV in the sitting room, with Wii, dvd player and a huge speaker ipod dock. Our group was 3 families coming together to have an extended family gathering and it worked really well, being great for the children and adults.
There is huge outside table on the patio with umbrellas, and we managed to have every meal outside.
Highly recommend.

Stunning House and Location - didn't want to leave!
Went to Harambee for my sister’s birthday with 10 friends. It was absolutely stunning. The rooms were positively luxurious with a massive ensuite bathroom in the master suite and a beautiful bespoke finish throughout the house. The highlight was swimming in the heated pool into the evening and dinner on the patio that overlooked the extensive grounds. The outdoor space seated all of our party comfortably and was lovely to sit watching the sun go down with some cocktails and friends. Cannot recommend it highly enough for a truly relaxing and special break.

An amazing weekend at Harambee!
We spent the last weekend of June relaxing at Harambee House with friends. It was the perfect weekend. The pool had been heated for our arrival, which was amazing as the clouds had gathered but the pool kept us warm until around 9pm. The bedrooms were spacious, and we were very well looked after by Johnny and George. The gardens were beautiful which meant we could all just sit out and relax all weekend, enjoying the countryside. A weekend to remember, and a house we will all definitely re-visit.

Absolutely amazing country retreat
I stayed here for my 25th birthday, and had an absolutely amazing time. The house is incredible, the master bedroom is breathtaking, the place is very spacious and all the guests that stayed there absolutely loved it. We were lucky during my stay that on the Saturday the weather was good, so we had a barbecue outside, overlooking the lush green fields that the property owns. Johnny had very kindly warmed the pool up for us, and that was certainly the star attraction. It was literally like a giant hot tub. Nobody believed me when I text them to give them a heads up that the pool was literally steaming, and after several hours in the pool, we ended up getting out because we were so relaxed we felt like we were all going to fall asleep. There is also a huge TV with full Sky services, which was useful and ensured I didn't miss the Arsenal match, and most importantly Johnny is a lovely guy and very easy to deal with. I already have had several of my friends asking me about renting the place, and if you are looking for a large, quiet place to relax or celebrate, I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Stay in a clasic English Manor house for about the same as average London hotel
This is an amazing, memorable property. Big enough to accommodate an extended group (family or friends) it exudes the English countryside charm. A wonderful heated pool combined with amazing bathrooms (see pictures attached) and good cooking and eating arrangements make this a great base from which to explore the south-west of England. The acres of fields and grounds make it a great place for walks. The Internet is great and the house is equipped with the latest in Television technology. But why would you sit home and watch TV? :-). Johnny Roberts owner/manager of the property is truly friendly and accommodating in every way. So not matter what comes up, you know he will help. This is a real find.

Da Londra verso sud-ovest sulla A3. Proseguire oltre Guildford prendendo l'uscita della A3 subito dopo il tunnel Hindhead. Seguire le indicazioni per Grayshott e proseguire attraverso il paese verso Headley sul B3002 Headley Road. Dopo altri 2,5 miglia prendere la prima uscita alla rotonda in Beech Hill e dopo esattamente mezzo miglio, come la strada piega bruscamente a destra, svoltare a sinistra in Gentles Lane. Dopo un ulteriore mezzo miglio all'ingresso Harambee si trova sul lato destro in una pista briglia con segnaletica su un albero. Harambee House e Harambee Mews sono situate dietro cancelli elettrici sul lato destro dopo appena 200 yards. Premere il pulsante grigio per aprire le porte, si chiudono automaticamente.
