From the comfort of your living room you can watch...
From the comfort of your living room you can watch the world passing by on Neal Street in the heart of Covent Garden. And yet the bedroom is quiet and comfortable, away from the crowds, for a good night’s sleep. Bathroom and kitchen are small but serviceable and you can save a lot by eating in. Only a few blocks away are some of London’s best shopping, restaurants, theatres and the opera. If you need to go further, walk two blocks to either Covent Garden or Tottenham Court tube stations. I never had to take a cab. All in all, a wonderful way to get to know London from the inside.

We spent 10 days in James' charming, comfortable flat. The flat was well equipped and clean and in a terrific location - close to theater, shops and public transportation (although we walked everywhere). James was an attentive host who made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend this flat and would love to stay there again.

As other reviewers have stated, the process of working with James was seamless. The pied-a-terre was immaculate. And though located on a pedestrian street in Covent Garden, the bedroom was silent and we found evenings in the large front room were as well. So noise was not a concern. For older visitors we didn’t find the steps up to the flat an issue at all. The location is hard to beat for walking and tube access to central London north and south of the river. We never used the washing machine but it is communal and not located in the flat. And there is no dryer. The photo shows the lovely central room bathed in light but, in fact, the lamps (many) didn’t really glow that brightly!! Lastly, the tiles around the base of the bathtub (and shower within) need redoing: fairly moldy. These few comments are made in a effort to help others. They didn’t spoil our visit but are things James should consider. Overall, it was a great place to stay.

Perfect location for exploring London. So much within easy walking distance and convenient to tube stations for jaunts further afield. The flat is comfortable and clean. And one will never lack for reading material!

Seriously, this is such an amazing little place to...
Seriously, this is such an amazing little place to stay, amazingly located within walking distance of the underground, the British Museum, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben and Piccadilly Circus. Very comfortable king sized bed (a huge plus!) and James was incredibly responsive and helpful. There is also a shared washer/dryer system! Would 100% stay here again.
Just a couple minor things... Some instructions to the dryer might be helpful because we had never used a combined washer/dryer system and my husband had to google the manual after we accidentally washed our clothes twice instead of drying it. Oops! Also, along with some other comments here, there is a bit of mold in the bathroom. But a really great place to stay.
