Marina di Ginosa is a bustling little seaside town in high season, it has quite a range of bars, restaurants and ice cream parlours to suite most tastes, if you wish to eat in, you can have your chicken, or meat cooked for you by one of the rosteria,s in the town, there are supermarkets, and a substantive choice of street vendors of fresh farm produce at very inexpensive prices. In high season, July/August, there is always some kind of family activity taking place in the local park for those with younger children to entertain, and if you wish to take a short trip out of town into Ginosa you will find even more restaurants in beautiful settings. The beach is a Blue Ribbon beach, an award it has held for twelve years, with clear water and plenty of places to sit and soak up the sun, a short stroll along the beach brings you to a variety of beach front bars and cafes. If you find the beach too busy a short trip along the coast to Castellanetta or Metaponto should take you to a quieter spot
