Comfy Cozy Clean Cottage Experience in St. John’s
Clean, cozy and provides a homey atmosphere as soon as you walk in there. Cottage is well equipped, including essentials in the kitchen. Beds, pillows and towels are super comfy. The view of the harbour is amazing and brings in a lovely breeze. There is property management contact information available for assistance. The neighbourhood is friendly with colourful, well-maintained homes. It is a hilly area with hiking nearby that provides plenty of exercise without having to drive. Close to The Battery Cafe and other brewpubs and restaurants downtown. Short drive to Signal Hill, Fort Amherst and fairly close to Cape Spear. We saw whales from shore at both Signal Hill and Fort Amherst. The cottage supplies a pair of binoculars if you forgot to bring your own. A very enjoyable experience!

Amazing view , well equipped
We stayed in the battery bluff cottages for the second time and loved it as much as the first. We were comfortable and cool and we could do laundry. Eggdown is close to the downtown so you can walk and close to signal hill for a hike. It is very well equipped and has dishwasher , washer and dryer. It’s clean , the beds are comfy and Rochelle is a dream to work with. Highly recommend any of her cottages for the perfect spot to enjoy all that St Johns has to offer. The view of the harbour is spectacular, we watched cruise ships coming in and out and the boat traffic provided lots of entertainment.

Well-equipped, charming, great location
Right on top of the harbor on Battery Hill, close to Signal Hill walk, close to downtown for another walk, great beds, fully equipped kitchen, AC, TVs up and down, stereo, decks up and down overlooking harbor.
Not a large place but easily set up to handle six adults in real beds (one is bunk bed with near queen size on the bottom), great use of up and downstairs areas, each with its own sitting area and deck.
Parking spot takes a bit of maneuvering, but is free, and much of the city and downtown is easily walkable and fun. Great little cafe 200 yards away.

Perfect Location and Great Cottage
We were three couples touring St. John's for four nights. This is an exceptional cottage and the pictures do not do it justice. We were comfortable in the three bedrooms and enought room in the kitchen, living room and deck to enjoy the views of the city and harbour.
Two large TVs with cable. Great internet. Plenty of dishes, towels, pillows, etc. Two king beds and a queen with a top bunk. Big kitchen table with a spectacular view out the large windows. The deck is awesome and has glass railings so as not to impede the view.
Parking is tricky but room for two vehicles.
Waliking distance to the downtown area and basically right at the start of the variius Signal Hill trails.
Communication with Rochelle was always quick and easy.

Our Relaxing Week Overlooking St. John’s Harbour
What a great way to spend our wedding anniversary. We enjoyed our cozy cottage minutes from downtown St. John’s and all the close by maritime sites. Everything was so convenient. This location was perfect. Our host had great suggestions on things to do and see and the setting made sitting on the deck watching ships go by a perfect way to spend a day. We intend to come back soon, with the whole family and again enjoy the ocean, this great city and this cottage by the sea.
