Suite as advertised
The suite and pool area were clean and well looked after. The building is located directly up the hill from the Malecon and was a reasonable distance to walk down. The walk back up was challenging, however the taxi was cheap for the return trip. There was no balcony but the sun came in the dining room window early morning and was great. The very best thing about this property was the property manager Tony Santiago. He was always available for questions, concerns or any other needs in a very timely manner. He was very personable and a fountain of knowledge. This was our first long time stay and we definitely felt we got our money's worth here.

Superb view and quiet building
The suite is at the top of a hill, so if you don't have a car, it's pretty steep! It takes about 15 min walk to the Malecon, If you're not up for the workout, a taxi will cost you 4-5$. This is a really cute apartment, clean, about 10-15 minute walk from the shore. Area is safe. I was there with a friend first, then I went back a second time with my boyfriend. The sunsets are amazing and right in that window. Lots of storage space, laundry available. After only a couple days it feels like home. The "kitchen" is limited in appliances with only a pan, 1 or two small pots, cups, glasses and a few plates, but it was sufficient given all the restaurants around. The pool is very clean and quiet also. I definitely would go back and kinda wish i owned that place. :)

Fantastic view
This is probably the cleanest place I have ever stayed in! I like to walk barefoot and the bottoms of my feet remained spotless. All the people in the building are very nice. Property manager, Tony, is very responsive, accommodating and attentive. This is definitely a rare find for the price.

Excellent value for the price, perfect for single or couple.
The condo is very clean and modern. The furnishings are modern and pretty new. The view of the bay out all the wrap around windows is excellent. It has a great open feel with lots of light. Modern appliances, big screen TV. Tony even brought out a DVD player and juicer when I asked. Tony is a excellent property manger and was right there when I needed him. Very helpful. When he picked me up from the airport, he stopped by a grocery for me to buy some supplies. The only potential downside to the condo is the location. It is about six blocks up the hill from the Malecon and town. It is only a 10 minute walk and was not a problem for me. But would require a taxi for someone that cannot walk the hills. But taxi only cost about $4 each way. The only noise was the roosters and dogs barking in the early morning. If you want a place in the middle of town this may not be your best choice. But for everything else it was perfect for me. Nice and modern, clean, great view, open and airy, modern furnishings. Much less than a hotel with much more room and better view. With a few groceries, I had breakfast and lunch right there and went to close by town for dinner. Very easy to rent thru Trip Advisor. I would recommend and stay there again.

Great economical stay
Good value for the money. The location is not ideal though the views are magnificent . No balcony is a negative. Tony the manager was great and always looking to make improvements. The neighbourhood is noisy with dogs and roosters but typical for Mexico. The pool is great. Service and amenities were great. We were even greeted with a bottle of wine and a fruit platter. Thank you for making this a great vacation.

Awesome Mexico Experience!!
We loved this condo! In fact we just returned to the US and we miss it already! It is at the very top of a hill, overlooking the city and neighborhood below. The picture windows frame a fabulous view of the bay.This was our dream experience - not an Americanized resort or hotel. It's in the heart of real Mexico. Roosters crowing, dogs barking, people greeting you as you walk down to the main shops and restaurants downtown. Tony is awesome, and like everyone else, very patient, laid back and so nice. The swimming pool is an inviting amenity after a day of hiking or tours. The 10 minute walk "down" the street is great - up is about $5.00 by taxi. Downtown offers shops, restaurants and a walk along the shore. You can buy groceries at Walmart, Costco or other local grocers. Taxi drives are all awesome and friendly. The condo also offers air conditioning, cooking, laundry facilities, what more can you want? We will definitely return to this place.

Amazing Views
Condo was nice and clean, the Pool was GREAT! The Location was a little iffy as my husband and I are 77 & 76 and the walking was somewhat precarious. Tony De Santiago was wonderful. He was so helpful with all our needs. His family member also was great, she drove me home from a long day at the hospital visiting my husband who had a 4 day stay due to complications from his Diabetes. Would recommend the condo to some our younger friends. Also wanted to mention Chuey who was also very helpful during our stay.

Peaceful and Economical Condo with Great View
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Torre Lirios. The condo was a shown in the pictures. It was great to have so much space for such a low price. It was very convenient to have laundry available in the suite as well. The view of Banderas Bay was excellent! We enjoyed the sunset over the bay followed by fireworks every night from the comfort of our condo. The bed was quite comfortable and the overall feel of the bedroom was relaxing and romantic.
The neighbourhood was true Mexico with roosters crowing and dogs barking, but with the air conditioner on and the windows closed, you can't really hear them. The pool at Torre Lirios was very enjoyable and was cleaned immediately at our request when it was starting to get a bit dirty (from some rain storms). Because our trip was in August, many of the other condo residents, who are foreign, were not there and so we had the pool to ourselves whenever we wanted it!
The main downside of this condo is its location. The walk down to the beach and boardwalk is easy but difficult going up. After a day at the beach it's best to just hire a taxi for $5 to get back up the steep hill. Because of this we found ourselves only wanting to leave the condo once a day to save on taxi costs. Another downside is that some of the furniture is a bit cheap. stuff can break fairly easily so be careful. I sat lightly on the ottoman at the end of the bed and it broke. However, the sofa, bed, and dining table were all good quality.
But besides that I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a more economical condo in Puerto Vallarta. And like everyone else has already pointed out, Tony the property manager was very helpful and kind.

Great long term stay
We stayed here for 2 months. Have been having a love affair with P.V. since we first came 20 years ago. We've stayed in every part of town and love this location. Bit of a tricky walk down the hill and almost always a cab ride back up. The suite is well appointed and had everything you could want or need. I guess if i have one complaint it would be that there is only a tiny freezer. If ice is important to you you need to be conscience of alwaysing the ice tray. Beautiful view, excellent quite pool,comfy bed.
Although the couch pulls out I think it's best suited for just 2 people.
Unlike other properties it look exactly like the photos.
Tony is a gem. Always helpful in a very timely fashion with anything you need.

We took a week long vacation here. The place is very comfortable, has a beautiful view & is inviting. The host was more than accommodating, & welcoming. He even arraigned for our travel to & from the airport. AL PASTOR Tacos, & shops with Tequila, were a close walk down a large street side hill. Roosters & the occasional dog barking in the distance. Amazing sunsets & sunrise views. A cheap 50 pesos, for a cab from the boardwalk to return you up the hill in laziness, drunkenness, or humidity! Also a pool with a view, which seemed to be our own private getaway with minimal use by others in the building. Overall, an amazing vacation was had by both!
