location! location! we could mot have been better placed. When we arrived Dawn had our groceries stocked and the air was on. The beach and pool were mere minutes away. I would recommend anyone who wants to travel to Loreto. To stay here. We could not be happier and we will book here again on our return this spring. Thanks Dawn for all of your help and advice. The villa floor plan easily accomodates two couples allowing privacy. The great room with living room, dining and kitchenare perfect to prepare and enjoy lively meals. The BBQ, dining and patio areas upstairs provides outdoor spaces to cook and partake of more wonderful meals. The tower was a wonderful space to enjoy quiet time reading a book, enjoying cocktails and appetizers or viewing the mountains and bay. As is evident, the home is very easy to enjoy. The owner, Felicia always quickly answered questions before and after booking and arrival. Would we return? You bet....2019 here we come!!

Villetta sita all'interno del villaggio/borgo di Loreto Bay (Nopolo) a pochi passi dal mare, in zona tranquilla. Ha veramente tutti comfort e molto di più di quello che ci si aspetta da una casa in affitto (stoviglie, biancheria da letto e da bagno in abbondanza ed in ottime condizioni, lavastoviglie, lavatrice, asciugatrice, riduttore water per bambini nel bagno della camera a piano terra...). L'ingresso alla casa ed agli ambienti interni è tramite codice in questo modo se si è in più persone non c'è il problema delle chiavi! Ha un bel cortiletto interno con tanto di fontanella e giardinetto molto ben curato. A piano terra ci sono, salotto e cucina molto spaziosi, una camera matrimoniale con bagno interno con due lavandini, una vasca enorme e doccia molto spaziosa, cortiletto posteriore, altro bagno esterno con water e lavandino. Tramite una scala esterna si accede ad una mega terrazza con barbeque, tavolo, sedie e sdraio (peccato che a mezzogiorno è impossibile pranzarci dal caldo ma ottimo per le cene), un'altra camera matrimoniale con bagno interno simile all'altro ma senza vasca. Infine tramite una scala a chiocciola si accede alla torretta con vista fantastica sul vicinato, montagne e mare, con tanto di divanetti per rilassarsi! Infine una nota molto piacevole su Felicia, Dawn e suo marito, veramente disponibili e gentili, sia in fase di prenotazione che durante tutto il soggiorno! Veramente consigliato a tutti!!!

Casa Illuminata is obviously cherished by its owners Felicia and Jon. They have spared no expense to make this villa warm, inviting, comfortable, and equipped to be your perfect vacation home. Located on a quiet street in an Ex-pat enclave, you will not be disappointed by the breathtaking views of the mountains and Sea of Cortez. We travelled with another middle aged couple for a week and found Loreto Bay to be exactly what we were looking for. The four of us cooked dinner in the well-equipped kitchen three evenings and enjoyed dining out at the restaurants in Nopolo for the other nights. I was happy to find that the beds were VERY comfortable as was all the furniture throughout the home. We did not find it necessary to rent a car for our stay down here and utilized a taxi the two times we went into the quaint town of Loreto for groceries and lunch. Everything within Nopolo is within walking distance and you could even make do with the wares available at the three small stores. Chartering a fishing boat and catching the local delicacies was a highlight of the trip for sure. Felicia has done an excellent job of creating a guidebook specific to the area and her villa to help guests enjoy their time in this very relaxing setting.

We had a wonderful stay in Loreto Bay -- traveled with a 4 1/2 and 13 year old and it couldn't have been easier. The house is really within a 3 min walk to the beach, to several pools and the community center. The house itself is great with a big indoor patio and spacious rooms. Very comfortable. We rented a car and went into town everyday for ice-cream and groceries. The town is really close and easy to get around. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Felicia provided tons of information before our departure so we were able to organize our stay before leaving. The contact once in Loreto was also really helpful. The only thing I would tell people that I hadn't realized is that the master bedroom is upstairs with an access from the interior patio so if you are traveling with small children you might want to bring the monitor as you won't hear them from the bedroom. (our 13 year old was our monitor). Honestly, a great trip -- great location, great house and very friendly people. We will be back!

What a beautiful home and a lovely neighborhood. I highly recommend hiring a car, there is a lot to see and do locally. We went into the town several times and enjoyed the local restaurants and shops. The highlight of our trip was renting a small boat with local fisherman for the day - he took us to Coronado Island where we snorkeled, beachcombed and sunbathed. A really wonderful experience that I highly recommend. The Loreto Bay community is very friendly, although it is an older crowd - 55+ but we had a fun time, being invited to several impromptu happy hours at local homes and enjoying an open mic night at the local wine bar!! A really wonderful vacation - I will be back again for sure!

Las villas en Loreto bay son perfectas, con todas las comodidades, instalaciones excelentes y las áreas verdes son hermosas tiene unos jardines preciosos...lo único malo es que no hay muchos lugares que visitar, lamentablemente el hotel de Loreto bay que esta cercano a las villas tiene un muy mal servicio por falta de personal porque los únicos dos meseros son excelentes pero insuficientes para dos restaurantes, y lamentablemente el pueblo de Loreto esta muerto totalmente lo cual es una lástima para un lugar tan bonito...

Casa Illuminata was perfect. It was well equipped and comfortable. We had a great stay and enjoyed the quiet, laid back good time.

We are in our third month of staying in this beautiful villa in Loreto Bay. The location is great--walking distance to the grocery , wine cellar, all three restaurants, and the coffee shop. The villa has a very high end kitchen with stainless steel appliances and top quality cookware and accessories. The furniture and bedding are in excellent condition and very clean. The garden is well kept and affords a beautiful view from the living area. The deck has a great outdoor kitchen and furniture. The viewing tower shows a panorama of mountain views. The weather on the Baja is fabulous.

We stayed at Felicia and Jon Brooks' villa in Loreto and it is such a lovely spacious place. We were accompanied by our friends and the four of us had plenty of space. The guest rooms are both very well appointed and we especially liked going up to the "tower" for coffee or drinks in the evening. Felicia is wonderful about telling you about all the best places to go in and around Loreto. The development where the Villa is located has 2 beautiful pools and there are kayaks and snorkling equipment available to rent just on the beach. The sea and the mountains make it a beautiful spot. It is very peaceful there - not too much going on at night - but that was fine with us. We bought fresh fish and used the stainless steel grill for several wonderful dinners outside on the patio. We stayed for a week but would like to return for a longer time there!
