Incredibly beautiful house with amazing views and great location!
We stayed at Las Brisas Caribe for a week in February and had an amazing time! It is situated so that it catches delicious warm breezes and spectacular views of the Caribbean. It is a short 5 minute drive to the nearby grocery stores (Star Fish Market & Dolphin Market) and a 10 minute drive into lively downtown Cruz Bay.
In addition to the great location, the house itself is incredible! It has 4 bedrooms, a spacious living room, generous dining area, gourmet kitchen and a sperate laundry room. There is a lovely patio right off the dining area which looks out onto the beautifully landscaped private pool and surrounding cabana area. The house is tastefully decorated to give you the comfortable, relaxed feel of the Caribbean.
An aspect of Las Brisas Caribe that we enjoyed and found unique was the compound feel of the property. It provided great large spaces to spend time together, but also offered individual privacy for the bedrooms. We loved the spacious master bedroom located upstairs in the main house. It had a private balcony, large bathroom and beautiful outdoor shower which quickly became a favorite part of our visit. The views from this bedroom are amazing as you can literally lay in bed and look out onto the water if you aren't motivated to make it out onto your private balcony. Out the master bedroom door and up one level, you find the "Crow's Nest" which provides a great place for everyone to gather to enjoy happy hour and take in amazing sunset views.
Steps from the main house along the beautiful walkway is the second guest quarters along with the separate laundry facility below. Step out of the main house in the other direction and you find another guest quarters that house a third bedroom upstairs and a fourth bedroom below it. Both the second and third bedrooms have private balconies with views of the water, bathrooms and beautiful outdoor showers. The fourth bedroom which has two twin beds is nice sized and would be great for kids.
We were there with friends celebrating a "55th" birthday and wanted to stay somewhere that was close in location to grocery shopping, the downtown restaurants/shops and beaches while providing luxurious amenities at the house. Las Brisas Caribe not only delivered all these things, but far surpassed our expectations. I would not hesitate to book another stay at this property or recommend it to any discerning travelers looking for upscale accommodations.
