Amazing first holiday as a couple!
Amazing stay! Mandy and Andy were so attentive. Thought of everything. The gifts on arrival were so thoughtful. Best scones and eggs EVER! Mandy was only a text/call away if we needed anything. Peaceful and beautiful setting. We couldn't have asked for anything better for our first holiday together as a couple. Even the cleaner as we were leaving was lovely and had a chat with us. The pod itself was clean and comfy, absolutely perfect stay! Thank you.

Brilliant
I booked the pod for my husbands birthday weekend, what a great stay, Mandy and Andy have thought of everything, fresh scones, clotted cream, jam and fresh eggs, even providing bottle stoppers to keep the bubbles in the bottle of prosecco which was nicely chilled on arrival. Definitely recommend, a stay here,its a lovely hilltop hideaway for a romantic break away.

A very special, wonderful place
My son and i stayed at the hut as he was doing work experience nearby and we thought it would be nice to make a mini staycation out of it.
It turned out to be so much more than that! The location is perfect. Quiet, beautiful and yet only a short drive to lots of attractions and shops.
The hut itself is perfect. The woodburner keeps you super cosy and there is really everything you could ever need in there. The shower room and kitchen area down in the yard are a real treat as it's always nice to have a hot shower.
The animals and the owners are what really make this place special. Mandy and Andy are happy for you to get involved as much as you want too and these animals are so loved. We loved every single minute of our stay and i really hope to come back soon. Thank you so much!

We have stayed at benton view twice now, once in the shepherd's hut and more recently in the new pod. It is perfect, spotlessly clean, cosy, everything you could need for a few nights or a longer holiday. It's location is perfect and just a short drive from beaches, towns, and exmoor, there are plenty of attractions and things to do within a 20 min drive. The farm is idyllic, private, peaceful, the scenery is beautiful, the animals are friendly and the hosts are amazing, really lovely people who are on hand if you need them but don't bother you at all.
If you are thinking of booking here just do it!! You will not be disappointed.

Amazing stay
We stayed for 2 nights in the Pod. Amazing views, cosy and clean. Everything you could possible need was provided, even a fridge freezer if you wanted to stay longer. We made use of the BBQ and the fire pit. You can even help on the farm, feeding the animals etc. This is our second visit and highly recommended a d we will be returning.

A wonderful stay
Booked the Shepherd's Hut as a surprise for my wife. It was such a great experience, beyond my expectations. The host's were very welcoming and the thoughtful personal touches made our stay enjoyable.

The Best Anniversary
I booked Benton View Shepherds Hut as a surprise for my partner for our first anniversary. We enjoyed every part of our stay at Benton View.
The hosts Mandy and Andy were amazing, so welcoming and made a special occasion even more special, from the anniversary banners and balloons in the hut, to the fresh scones, clotted cream and jam and the bottle of Prosecco.
It was an amazing experience and we’d love to visit again.

Wonderful place to stay
We stayed at Benton view after winning on a FB competiton. Our stay from arriving was wonderful, with a warm welcome and complimentary prosecco. The shepherd hut was warm, cosy and comfortable. Extremely clean with everything we needed for our stay. We were able to cook on the BBq in our garden or the facilities in the hut. The children got involved daily with helping out on the farm and with the animals. Andy and Mandy were fantastic hosts and were there for all our needs and requirements but also respected our privacy and we enjoyed a much needed relaxing holiday close to local beaches and tourist spots. We have already booked to return and can’t recommend this place highly enough for families or couples. Thank you both for a great time.

Gemma Dave and family it was lovely to have you stay as our winners of FB competition. Great to have the kids help out on the farm and be so enthusiastic about the animals. Can't wait to see you all next year in time for lambing. X

Fantastic
We had an amazing break, peaceful with great facilities. We all came away relaxed and looking forward to visiting again. The children loved the animals and helping out. Lots to do close by and great beaches, would recommend for everyone

Beautiful place!
This place is magical! Had a wonderful time hand feeding the baby lambs and being able to cuddle and play with them! They also have 2 shetland ponies which are the cutest little things ever! Mandy and Andy are brilliant hosts and really cannot do enough for you. Devon is beautiful in general but the spot in which they have is just perfect! Peace and quiet! The Shepherd Hut is so quirky and cosy and is beautifully decorated, imagine waking up and having your breakfast surrounded by complete beauty no buildings, no traffic... just countryside! Heaven. I cannot wait to go back! Thank you Mandy & Andy!
