We stayed for 1 1/2 weeks with two dogs. The garden is secure which makes life easy. The house is in a good location to explore the area, near Ferte-Saint Cyr, Chambord, Beaugency and Blois and all you need to is turn right outside the house and you’re into a number of forest walks. The pool is well looked after and the garden has a number of sunny spots to relax in. The bistro in Ferte-Saint Cyr is great. The nearby Lac de la Loire near Blois is a great place to park for a walk along the Loire shore, particularly if your dogs enjoy swimming. The house is rustic in design, has good facilities and is good value.

Great location for exploring the beautiful countryside, fantastic chateaux and of course the vineyards House is really well set up for families and pets. Conservatory good in the sunshine (and rain)! And the pool/ garden/ bbq just great!

Buona struttura vicinissima a Chambord e agli altri castelli della Loira Ottimo per portare i cani , con un grande giardino recintato Passeggiate semplici in prossimità della casa. Piscina riscaldata eccellente ( sia per adulti che per bambini con una certa acquaticita) Una pecca, la scala interna non molto agevole e senza cancellino per bambini piccoli

The large, secure garden was perfect for us and our dogs, with lots of great walks along tracks going through the surrounding forest/wood. Our adult children enjoyed the swimming pool. The owner was very welcoming and helpful, fixing us up with an appointment at the local vet's for the worming treatment required before our dogs could return to the UK. The property is well placed for visiting the many chateaux of the Loire and we would love to stay here again.

We enjoyed a flawless week in July in this beautiful spot of the Loire valley with day trips to nearby castles and other destinations. Excellent location, beautiful garden, very obliging service and support from owner and housekeeper. Would definitely recommend for group/family of 4-6 persons.

Lovely week in this fantastic Gite. Very well equipped with everything you could need. Safe and secure garden and lovely pool. Just up the road from Chambord which is fabulous. The grounds of the Chateau are open and free to visit - go at dusk or early morning and you will be rewarded with a sighting of some of the thousands of deer and wild boar that live there! We cannot recommend this Gite highly enough and would not hesitate to book another holiday there.
