Villa située au calme, grand espace autour de la maison et grande piscine. Très bien située sur l'ile car accès rapide aux commerces et au port. Parfait pour 8 personnes.

La maison parfaite!
Parfaitement située, équipée, fonctionnelle, piscine au top, jardin, barbecue, tout y est. Nous étions 5 amis et tous unanimes: rapport qualité/prix parfait. Et je ne suis qu'un touriste, pas l'ami du propriétaire lol! Un grand merci à Marva qui gère la location sur place et qui est hyper gentille et pleine de bons conseils.

SIAMO STATI 4 notti in questa casa. Molto bella, grande (eravamo in 8 ) con 4 stanze e due bagni . La piscina tenuta bene come anche la casa . ho letto di qualcuno che ha scritto posto isolato ecc.…..e alla fine di un viale ma non e' isolato e' raggiungibile a piedi dal porto comodamente (non prendete taxi) . La custode ci ha accolti abbastanza bene ...ha preso 100 euro di caparra ma al momento di lasciare la casa non si e' presentata...e' vero che dovevamo pagare l elettricita' consumata e 35 di spese pulizia...ma non ci e' piaciuta questa cosa….possibilità di noleggiare bici….rigorosamente senza fari….comunque a parte questo episodio la casa merita . Aria condizionata dappertutto ….

Perfect house
In this house we lived only 4 days, but through them we had time to relax. The house was cleaned and cozy, kitchen was nice and knives were very sharp(it was a big plus for the host). After shopping we wanted to cool off, and then we used the pool. Water was cooled and we could see that was cleaned. Am also happy about one fact : this house is located near the shop and the beach where we spent beautiful moments. I would recommend this house to my friends and others people.

Unloved, unwelcoming
We have just returned from a 4 night stay here. The house is very utilitarian, situated in a very messy, local neighbourhood surrounded by marsh land so wading through the dirty water after the rains was not pleasant. The living area is spacious and could easily cater for 8 people (we were 4).
There is no garden to speak of (fairly big plot of enclosed land), a murky, not-so-clean pool (which was so hot that we could hardly swim - why it would be heated in the tropics is questionable) and absolutely no attempt to make us welcomed. All a little sad. Not that we expected bells and whistles but we've stayed at several self-catering establishments and have always been provided with the bare essentials on arrival such as a shower gel, soap, shampoo (no matter how basic or small) and sufficient linen and towels to make our stay practicably comfortable. This was totally bare (toilet paper and a bottle of dishwashing liquid), with not even a welcome flower in sight. So the photos here are not accurate, nor are there any 'home comforts' such as sofa cushions or deck chairs around the pool as shown in the pics.
While the kitchen was fairly well equipped, it lacked the usual basic essentials such as salt and pepper, sugar, etc. not to mention cleaning material. Not a big deal but this is normal in self-catering. There were no jars or decanters for these essentials either nor access to the washing machine (locked away and apparently disconnected) which was distasteful as we were there for 4 nights and only given 1 bath towel each. You'll need to travel with a swimming towel as this is not provided which is somewhat ridiculous for a 'beach' destination with a pool and an issue when travelling with limited luggage. Fans were quiet (a blessing) but we were forced to use the bedroom air-conditioning because we were advised not to leave the windows open for security reasons - so quite claustrophobic.
Electricity is charged separately which we felt was unreasonable given this fact, so be cautious about turning on the lights and air-conditioning. With not a hint of homely comfort, we felt like we were in 'camp' - an unloved, unwelcoming house - which was a little unsettling. It served its purpose, we enjoyed the privacy and it was clean, but there is no substitute for a welcoming host and a comfortable bed with decent linen.
We left tired after 4 nights of lack of sleep, due to the below average beds and having to constantly adjust the aircon in order to be comfortable. The beds are small and if you're happy about sleeping on a 'concrete slab' you'll be satisfied but we were not impressed.
Such a pity. A little thoughtfulness and consideration of comfort and hospitality on the part of the owner would make such a difference. We probably wouldn't recommend.
