Dos Olivos (The Two Olive Trees) is a luxury home in Andalucian style, situated in the urbanization of Alcaidesa. The house is only about 10 minutes walk from the beautiful beach but is high enough to command breathtaking panoramic views from the striking Rock of Gibraltar and mountains of Morocco along the coastline as far as Estepona.
The Garden
A vast terracotta terrace leads onto an extensive scented Mediterranean garden with everything from lemon, orange, fig and pomegranate trees to Mimosa, Jacaranda, Palms, Cypress and Dama de Noche. Great summer in a great villa
Dos Olivos is a beatifull villa,very well maintained. It has very nice views and it's well located, near of many amenities and places to visit. We had a great summer!.

The most beautiful luxury house in Spain
We have been to Dos Olivos before and will come again, it is a beautiful luxury house with incredible views of Gibraltar. The house is very tastefully decorated and has everything you could possibly need for a fantastic holiday. The infinity pool, barbecue area, gardens and tennis court are particular highlights as well as the location and easy access to the local beach. This place is perfect for family holidays, romantic getaways or a corporate retreat. Highly recommend.

Great experience
Great experience - in addition to enjoying the scenery we enjoyed swimming and playing tennis daily. The housekeeper was very helpful in recommending activities and day trips. The location was great and we hope to visit again in the future.

"A room with a view", well - actually - "A villa with a view"!
We traveled with a group of 8 and had a fantastic time. The heated salt-water pool made a great end of every day of our trip. It was inspirational to see the Rock of Gibraltar any time we were at the villa, whether from the many rooms facing it or from the pool and patio. We had a short lived tennis tournament on the private tennis court. It wasn't pretty, but we had a blast! Our host Judy was very accommodating and helpful with all transactions. The housekeeper Yolanda was a delight.
I would say that Dos Olivos gets 16 thumbs up! A good time was had by all.

Pure Relaxation with 5 Star views
Just remembering the amazing week some friends and I spent resting, sunning, and enjoying the luxuries a few summers ago at Dos Olivos. The house is perfectly laid out to offer utmost privacy and quiet for each of us, huge appointed kitchen and prep areas, four dining spots in/out, perfect infinity pool to view daily sunsets over the Rock, and a beautiful beach and bar very near. My only regret is not getting there this past year to get my fill of Spanish peace and sun!

Simply the best
Stayed here for a family trip for 9 of us in late August and could not recommend highly enough, in fact tempted not to write a review in case too many people find out about it!! Last time I went to Alcadeisa was 25 years ago and it is virtually unrecognisable from what it was. I suspect that Dos Olivos was one of the original villas and much of what has grown up around it leaves a little to be desired. That said it still has an outstanding view across the Straights of Gibraltar to Africa and it really is a view that you couldn't tire of.
Inside Dos Olivos is immaculate. All the bedrooms (having 2 master bedrooms is inspired) are beautifully appointed and the living spaces are exactly what you want with obvious outside bits, but lovely shaded areas, sort of half in half out, aswell. However, the best thing is the kitchen. I have stayed in many holiday rentals, but never one that has everything you need to cook and prepare food for hungry teenagers!
Tennis court is a massive bonus (and was a must for us), although in August trying to find a time of day that isn't too hot is the challenge. Salt water pool is lovely. we chose not to heat it for the week, which was the correct decision.
If you are into golf then you are well catered. Alcadeisa is ok, but San Roque is 5 minutes away, and the delights of Sotogrande Old and Valderrama are less than 15 minutes.
In summary i would think Dos Olivos ticks almost every box there is. It isn't in Sotogrande which is where people like to be seen, but that is a bonus as in 10 minutes you are in the port, and nowhere in Soto has this view.

Fantastic family time in amazing,comfortable surroundings.
We had heard amazing things about this villa so our expectations were high. It exceeded them. A very spacious, superbly appointed and very comfortable villa, wonderful infinity pool with views across to the Rock of Gibraltar and the African coast beyond. An easy short drive form the airport, and easy drives inland into the mountains where there were lots of walks from the white villages, taking in wild boar, vultures, ibex. A wonderfully relaxing time with family that are seldom all together in one place. We have many, many happy memories. Thank you.
