The Villa is located about five minutes walk from a local cafe and taverna, and from there you can catch the bus into Rethymno Old Town. Very well equipped kitchens. Our children loved the pool and enjoyed using the many pool toys! The owner came every day to clean the pool and cleaners came twice to change the beds during our seven day stay. The owner also left us with a delicious hot meal within two hours of our arrival and dropped in pastries on other days (they own a restaurant called Kokkinos near the Harbour which we visited and would recommend). Communication was excellent with Kostas and his team. Highly recommend this villa.

We had a great week at the villa. It has very good facilities, lovely pool and jacuzzi. There are plenty of other activities available, gym and sports equipment etc, but the weather was so good we were either out or using the pool or jacuzzi. The location is very handy for driving to other parts of the island and just 15 minutes from Rethimno. We were made very welcome by the owner and his daughter.

We stayed at Villa Kokkinos for two weeks in August. Our reception in Crete was incredible; the people, the hospitality, the food - everything was fantastic! The beautiful old town of Rethymno is only 10 minutes drive and the beach there kept us (5 adults and 2 teens) entertained with a wealth of water sports on offer. There are plenty of fantastic restaurants and at night, the waterfront comes alive with bars and street vendors (nicely busy with plenty of families walking around rather than ridiculously loud). Restaurant Kokkinos in Rethymno is definitely worth a look for it's comprehensive menu and value for money - the tsatsiki, meatballs and Greek salad were the best we had while we were there). Closer to the villa, and within easy walking distance, is a small but very well equipped supermarket and taverna. We have booked to go back to the same area next year, we enjoyed it that much!! No regrets to this holiday at all!!

The villa and support from etouri was superb throughout! The villa owner was very attentive and cleaned the facilities every day and also brought us fresh foods to enjoy as a welcome gift.

What a great villa and service! We booked this villa not knowing what to expect and were surprised to find such a great place. There was plenty of space for 2 families and the little extras were fantastic. Will definitely go again.

L’hospitalité des propriétaires était au rendez-vous ainsi que le raki ! Très belle Vue depuis les terrasses. Nous avons passé des vacances extraordinaires. Nous recommandons tout simplement cette villa.

Everything that the description of the property promises is exactly what what you get. The owner looks after everything very professionally, any problems were resolved on the same day. Our group...a family of 8 adults and 2 infants all rated it as 10 out of 10. Also the Etouri team were very helpful with advice on everything from hire cars to day trips etc.

We stayed as a group of 8 adults and had a blast. The villa was excellent the only negative was insufficient wine glasses Hardly a problem. Hot tub was great, bikes were fun and pool was sufficient. Had 2 bbqs in place which were really great. Location was good because it is a 15 min walk to beach and shops and restaurants and a 20min car journey in either direction to towns.

We were two families (4 adults, 4 children) and we spent a fantastic week here for our summer holiday. The villa is in an excellent location and the facilities are first class, the owners have thought of everything. There is now an addition of a trampoline and a hot tub, both of which were well used by us. The owner takes great pride in ensuring the villa is well maintained. He also was very kind to ensure we had a meal on arriving during the evening, as well as leaving some bits from the local bakery every couple of days. There are several excellent tavernas and beaches nearby, as we as a superb beach club we visited courtesy of the Etouri management company. On the occasion we were in contact with them, they were very helpful and offered a fast service. In summary, we can’t recommend this villa highly enough and the owners should be congratulated on the high level of accommodation and service they provide.

Lovely villa with anything we needed for a family of 9 with young children. The owner brought us fresh bread and croissants every other day. Very friendly and helpful. Clean and tidy with fresh bedding and towels every 3 days. The only reason we haven't given 5 stars is the beds are very hard and around the pool is a drop to the driveway what could do with a little fence putting up as one of the children fell down and grazed her self badly.
