Me and my family just stayed a week in Villa Rahul. The house is beautiful, a 10 minutes drive from Bophut, up in the hill.
We were four persons, so me and my husband used the master bedroom with a connecting bathroom , with both a shower and a bathtub. Our children had a bedroom each, both with bathrooms. All three rooms have sliding doors to the poolarea. In the livingroom you have kitchen integrated, and all the equipment you need (not dishwasher). The furniture otherwise is very nice in my opinion. The house is kept stylish and clean. The beds and mattresses are of good quality, the same are the pillows. And the closet space is very good in all rooms. Bathrooms nice and practical.
In the poolarea you have six sunbeds, four very nice and with nice mattresses, two not so good. The pool is of good size, and the wiev is great towards the coastline and Bophut. It is also a big table outside with chairs, but we preferred to eat inside. We loved to start the day with a cup of coffee in two loungechairs at the poolside.
I would for sure rate this house with 5, if the surroundings was better. But it was costruction work going on close to the house, and the road up from Bophut was very bad, with stormwater many places. And the last bit up to the house was not a road at all, but just sand, and difficult to drive. This is for sure something that will be improved, when the new houses behind Villa Rahul is completed.
The owner of the house, Oliver, is a very nice and reliable person. We could just contact him when we wanted, to get help with things, or suggestions for restaurants etc. If you dont’t have your own car, he has a driver you can call. We used the driver sometimes, but we also used a very nice taxidriver called Kate, from the taxistation just at the entrance of Fishermans Village. To have Bophut so close by, is very nice. If you prefer to eat at house you can also get takeaway brought up to you.
We will for sure recommend a stay in Villa Rahul. It felt so nice, comfortably and relaxing.
