Highly recommend
Stayed for one night, wished it were for longer.
Spacious apartment, very clean and well maintained. Large and comfortable double bed. Excellent water pressure in the shower (albeit the bathroom overall is a bit cramped). Nice quality towels.
Fantastic location, on top of the beach and close to the bakery, restaurants and supermarkets.
The ladies who checked us in and out were extremely pleasant and helpful.
We have already booked to go back.

Brilliant location, very clean plus the always very helpful lovely Tina!
I just love the location of these apartments - right on the sea. Tina is always more than helpful, and makes everybody feel very welcome.
Apartments are clean and with a maid service every few days, makes it a real holiday.
Very easy to get the essentials like bread, milk etc, plus you are very close to bars and restaurants.
This is the fourth time I have stayed in these apartments and would definitely go again. I always have a lovely relaxing time in Panormos.

Absolutely fabulous!
A superb location, lovely beach, clean apartments, super beach service, wonderful restaurants, really lovely people. A good all rounder if you want to get away and do nothing.

Brilliant as usual
This is the second time I have stayed at these apartments. Tina as always was always kind, helpful and very efficient ....... even coming out in the early hours of the morning when I managed to get myself locked out!
Apartments are in a brilliant location, clean and spacious ....... everything you need for a lovely restful stay in this beautiful resort.

Great place, great people
Never been before but came on the recommendation of mum in law who has, it is as good as she said and better, family of 5, inc MiL, teenager and 10 yo. We have the 2 top floor apartments, been here a week with another week to go, and I could stay longer, it's a great location, the small town of Panormos is a lovely place, good and easy bus links to other places on Crete, but with the beautiful beaches and fantastic shops, tavernas and restaurants here, you could do a week easily without exploring other places, the apartments are roomy with a decent size double bedroom, a large sofa bed in the main room, toilet/shower room is small but not cramped and plenty big enough to do what needs doing, be careful, the hot water is solar powered so when it's sunny (all the time) the water gets VERY hot. The bedroom has air conditioning which works fantastically and for someone who has trouble sleeping in strange beds, I have slept very very well since I got here, the rooms are cleaned and the bedding changed every 3 days or so, and someone pops in most days to get rid of rubbish or add an extra toilet roll. The little kitchen area is clean and basic, ideal for breakfast or a quick lunch, anything more may be a struggle but there are great places to eat at extremely good prices within literally a few meters, there are also small supermarkets, a pharmacy and a beach across the road, it couldn't be in a better location if it tried, Tina, who manages the apartments is great, cannot do to much to help ( we arrived at 4 am local time and she was up and around to greet us) and speaks fluent English, not even left yet and contemplating coming back next year.

Spacious apartment with nice location but average facilities
I only stayed in the Castello Apartments for one night and I was warmly greeted by the owner, Mrs Tina. She was very accommodating and polite and showed us to our room while also providing suggestions for dinner and breakfast in the area. The apartment itself was not that impressive, but it was spacious and clean. I guess I'm used to hotels with more character and that's why I wasn't that excited about it but it would have been a comfortable place for a couple travelling with a child since it had a separate bedroom and a separate living room with a lot of space. The bathroom was clean but rather small. The location was ideal, just across the bay of Panormos and very short walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. Our room was on the 1st floor with a decent balcony offering a side view to the bay, which was nice, but it was also right over the main street on the left where many tourists were walking just a few meters away from us and kids were being loud chasing each other around which offered no privacy. The back balcony, though, although it had no view was private. The room also came with a safe and some kitchen utensils but we didn't use them as we only stayed for a night. All in all, it's not a bad choice although I personally feel that 65 euro for an apartment with just the basics and no breakfast is too much for the end of August in Panormos. If we had been given the top apartment, with the big balcony, things would have been much better but it was a last minute reservation and I couldn't expect more. All in all, not a bad choice but just not my taste.

La terrazza
Meravigliosa terrazza con vista sul piccolo porto e sulla spiaggia. Appartamento dotato di tutto il necessario. Deliziosa Tina, la proprietaria, disponibile per suggerimenti. Ci ha aspettato fino a notte fonda.

Brilliant
Have stayed in Crete before, and accommodation at Castello was brilliant in comparison to previous stay. For the money, apartment was fresh and clean, great location. Tina the manager was really helpful and friendly. Would definitely use these apartments again.
