Πρόκειται για διαμερίσματα με πολύ καλό location, αφού από κάτω βρίσκεται η παραλία και σε κοντινή απόσταση σούπερ μάρκετ, ταβέρνες, φούρνος, φαρμακείο κλπ. Το βασικότερο μειονέκτημα κατά τη γνώμη μου ήταν ο εξοπλισμός των δωματίων, ειδικά αν ταξιδεύει κανείς με παιδιά. Βασιζόμενη στην εμπειρία μου με άλλα ενοικιαζόμενα διαμερίσματα και μόνο, θεώρησα πρωτόγνωρο να μην υπάρχει έστω ένα αλατοπίπερο και 5 μανταλάκια στο διαμέρισμα. Επιπλέον, καθαριότητα κάθε 3 μέρες θεωρώ οριακή - και πάλι συγκρίνοντας με άλλα διαμερίσματα - ειδικά το καλοκαίρι. Γενικότερα η αίσθηση μου ήταν ότι οι ιδιοκτήτες υπήρξαν ιδιαίτερα... μετρημένοι σε ότι αφορά τις παροχές. Πολύ θετική εντύπωση μου έκανε το προσωπικό, καθώς κάποιο θέμα που προέκυψε λύθηκε εντός ωρών με επαγγελματισμό που δε συναντά κανείς συχνά σε τέτοιου είδους καταλύματα. Μπράβο στον ιδιοκτήτη που επενδύει στο προσωπικό και συγχαρητήρια στο προσωπικό για την ευγένεια και τον επαγγελματισμό. Αυτός είναι και ο βασικός λόγος που βαθμολογώ με very good. Συνοψίζοντας και λαμβάνοντας υπόψιν το value4money, το διαμέρισμα ήταν αρκετά καλό.

We have visited Panormos for many years now but this was our first time at the Castello Apartments. We booked two one bedroom apartments which were modern, well presented, very spacious and very well equipped. Both apartments - side sea-view (no 7 & 8) had a balcony at the front and a terrace from the bedroom. Air conditioning and safe included in the price which was a real bonus. Maid service excellent, bins were emptied every day, fresh sheets and towels twice a week The only slight downside is that they are almost at street level and have a side sea-,view overlooking what is quite a busy thoroughfare (but not all the time) so it can feel a little public at times. The terrace at the back is cute (has a good drying facility) and nice to sit out in as long as no one has their air-conditioning unit on which can mean it can be somewhat noisy. On our last two days we also experienced construction noise (very noisy, incessant drilling) from the building next door which forced us out quite early each day. This isn't the fault of the hotel owner/manager (Tina is very friendly and helpful) but whoever controls the building regulations in Panormos as we also had this last year when staying at a different hotel only then it was for a whole week. Panormos does seem to have a few buildings under construction and the the hotel owners do needs to address the construction issue which really ought to be undertaken out of season because it has sadly put us off going back for few years which is a shame as it is a lovely friendly resort . So my advice would be to email the hotel direct and enquire regarding the possibility of any building work in the locality and if it would bother you request either a second floor apartment to avoid being on public view - if you don't sit out on your balcony then nos 7 & 8 perfect for you) and obviously the rooms to the front of the building have a lovely and full sea-view. The apartments are minutes from the beach and there are a couple of supermarkets in the resort along with ATMs, car hire, bakery etc . Panormos is a lovely but very low key resort so if you are looking for nightlife then it wouldn't be for you. Despite the slight downsides we would recommend the apartments and also stay here again when we return to Panormos when hopefully all the building works are completed!!

This hotel is in the perfect location in the little town of Panormo! Walking distance to great restaurants, supermarkets and bakeries. We had the top room, with the best sea view and large patio for watching the sunset and sunrise every day. Tina was wonderful to work with, and she gave us a tour of both of our rooms upon arriving, and every detail we needed for a comfortable stay. She also provided a baby crib for our 15 month old son at no extra charge! We highly recommend these apartments for families traveling with kids.

Well, what a little gem. Booking couldn't have been simpler. Also, the owner very obliging at the time of booking to enable us to stay beyond normal checking out time due to a late flight. The accommodation is absolutely perfect for a couple. The view from the spacious roof top terrace of our room (room 6) was astounding and was perfect for sunbathing. To the right you have the mountains, coming round you then have the harbour, incorporating a more than adequate beach with the expansive turquoise coloured sea with it's own moods coming round to the tavernas with their twinkling lights at night, and in the immediate foreground you overlook the charming local church. A second balcony off the bedroom gives a splendid view of mountains in the foreground with an extension of the village and snow covered mountains in the background! The main balcony was a bliss to sit on, in the evening, after indulging in a fine meal at one of the local tavernas, looking out and capturing the atmosphere of the quiet village at night and the sea, the stars etc. It was hard to retire to bed to leave it all behind! The accommodation comprised: One bedroom to incorporate a large double bed and ample wardrobe space, drawers, dressing table etc. A lounge diner, again adequate in size, off which is a "quirky" bathroom. This property was everything we needed for a relaxing week in the sun, the terrace taking out the need to traipse down to the beach. The bedding was changed twice during our week at which a clean was undertaken and the towels 3 times by a very nice house maid, the same person visiting daily to empty the bins. Reception is located on the ground floor with an obliging and reactive manager on hand in person for a long part of the day, and contactable 'out of hours' by mobile. In terms of location of this apartment, absolutely perfect at the time we visited. Opposite a taverna, adjacent the church, a minutes walk to a bar (not open when we stayed, therefore unable to comment on noise levels) and a stones throw from the local baker and other village amenities. We would certainly recommend room 6 for all of the above reasons as an escape for a couple or a lone traveller.

Castello Apartments provided everything for a perfect beach holiday, it´s centrally located to the beach, village centre & several restaurants in Panormos with parking right on the doorstep. The manager was very friendly & accommodating, helpful with everything from recommendations for day trips to arranging a doctor´s visit, even offering to accompany us to translate. The apartment itself was located on the top floor & had a large terrace, a definite bonus but as far as we could tell every apartment in the complex has a balcony. Everything was spotlessly clean & well maintained, even though it was an apartment it was cleaned every day & new linens/towels supplied several times during our 11 night stay. A nice touch were the water & milk in the fridge on our late night check-in as well as that dish cloths & washing up liquid were provided. Two minor points of complaint would be the very small bathroom & that there was no elevator in the building (apartment on 3rd floor), not an issue for us but could make it less convenient for others.

We spent 2 weeks here in July 2016. Very clean with nice furniture etc and in good condition. Everything you could need without being over-egged. Lovely bedroom with nice linen and comfy bed and a balcony overlooking the sea. The lovely friendly cleaning lady changed the linen and bathroom towels several times and emptied the bathroom and kitchen bins/replaced tea-towels daily. The lady in charge of the apartments, Tina, is great - full of useful tips...thank you for making us feel so welcome. The apartments are right on the front overlooking the harbour. There are plenty of great places to eat...with one 'Agkyra Taverna' (the Anchor) right opposite the apartments...the food there is delicious and it's so handy if your feeling lazy! Also loved George and Georgias, Kastello, Taverna Barba Andreas and for lunch Vinzi Cafe. (only a taster of the great places to eat. Only place we wouldn't go back to was O'Makis! We were in room 5, which is second floor at the front. The balcony is off the bedroom. We had the chance to look at room 6 - top floor with a huge terrace and sea view off the lounge and a second balcony off the bedroom - thanks to the lovely guests who showed us the apartment and with whom we enjoyed a dinner and great chats. We have booked room 6 for end April this year...can't wait!

.. bei zentraler Verortung im Stadtzentrum. Freundlicher Empfang und gute Tipps für den Einkauf und die Restaurantbesuche in der Stadt. Apartment wie gebucht mit schönem (seitlichen) Ausblick auf das Meer in der Ferne und dem Hafen im Vordergrund, direkt gegenüber der Kirche. Zwei von fünf Nächten hörten wir Musik aus der Bar "AKTH" bis etwas später in die Nacht. Einrichtung wie beschrieben, nur auf den ersten Blick alles in Ordnung, bei genauerem Hinsehen Spuren von Abnutzung und Gebrauch (uns kam die Abzughaube über dem Herd entgegen, und einige Armaturen im Bad sind auch Reparatur bedürftig, quietschendes Bett...) Reparatur der Abzughaube wurde sofort in die Wege geleitet. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Sehr sauber, alle 3tage wurde alle wäsche gewechselt, täglich kam jemand vorbei, brachte die wohnung in ordnung, geht´s denn noch besser? Nettes personal. Top lage, 1 min. bis zum strand, direkt oberhalb des hafens, restaurants in direkter nähe. Darüber hinaus kümmert sich das management um die katzen und hunde des ortes, was woanders im süden nicht der fall ist. Sehr vorbildlich!

L'appartamento è bello grande, comodo e fornito, con due balconi, uno proprio di fronte al mare. Vicinissimi ci sono bar, un forno, macelleria, supermercati, taverne. Il mare è pulitissimo, comodo e non affollato sia nella spiaggetta del porticciolo che l'altra più a ovest a 300 metri. La signora Tina è gentilissima, come il resto del personale. La connessione wi-fi gratuita è veloce e stabile. Panormos è veramente un bel paesino, al centro della costa nord, ed è comodo per visitare molte località cretesi, Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Vi havde forventet at skulle bo på et hotel vi tidligere havde brugt i Panormo, men der var ikke ledig plads i de dage, vi havde planlagt, så vi måtte derfor ændre planer. Af flere muligheder valgte vi Castello Apartments beliggende meget tæt på stranden og den lille havn. Det var som at vinde i lotteriet. Castello Apartments er en nyere bygning med gode, store og velholdte lejligheder bestående af soveværelse og velmøbleret alrum med fuldt udstyret kitchenette - (der manglede intet). Badeværelse er velholdt op rent som den øvrige lejlighed. 2 altaner, en stor møbleret – stole og bord – med havudsigt og en lille med byudsigt. Personale, ejer, bestyrer (Tina) og rengøringspersonale er meget imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Castello Apartments har en ideel beliggenhed, tæt på strand, lille havn, tavernaer, bager (fantastisk velsmagende brød), slagter og andre butikker. Vi har rejst meget i Grækenland igennem 20 år, og vi har sjældent boet så godt som på Castello Apartments. Jeg kan kun anbefale Castello Apartments. Vi bor der også næste gang vi kommer til Panormo.
