A short distance from the coast and the market town of Axminster it makes for an ideal base to explore the region. The barn is approached from the front deck into a large open plan light and airy living space with vaulted ceilings and a wood burning stove. Squashy sofas in the centre with a country kitchen and raised dining area at either end. Down 3 steps from the kitchen end to the master bedroom with TV, stable door and en-suite shower room. TV in sitting room and in bottom ground floor bedroom with Freeview and DVD. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair and travel cot available. Two well-behaved dogs welcome, £50 per fee for the second dog. Off road parking for 2 cars. Patio, gravel garden to the front with patio furniture. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles. Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea? Town: Nestled in countryside, Axminster is certainly a place to relax and unwind, it is one of Devon’s smaller towns. Situated on the River Axe and within easy reach of both the West Dorset and East Devon Jurassic Coast, Axminster has many attractions, including plenty of privately owned shops, a weekly market and old inns, with one dating back 100 years and the famous River Cottage Canteen and HQ. The area is ideal for walking or cycling and with the Jurassic Coast just 3 miles away, Lyme Regis, Charmouth and Seaton are all within easy reach and offer an opportunity to walk the Coastal Footpath.
